Loving that Harli jumped out of fear and had to catch her breath from the “scary bug “, meanwhile she’s raising two mantis and picks up every furry spider she finds. So now I need to know what qualifies as the scary bug!?!
I love bugs but I don’t like surprise bugs, maybe that’s what scared her hahaha

Also on my Hoya wish list are: Hoya Tsangii, Hoya Sigillatis, Hoya Rosita. Hoyas are pretty hard to find in Germany. At least in the part where I live. Maybe thats's a good thing. So I don't spend all my money at once. :D
And can we please all agree that 16:38 "Now we are on better terms and we are speaking again" is the cutest way to descripe a plant relationship?! :D
I know this is two years ago. But I hope this helps! I noticed that a lot of your plants have really long tendrils (long arm things) but they aren’t pushing out new leaves yet. Hoyas are commonly known as climbing plants and once their tendrils reach something for them to climb then they’re “stable” enough to start pushing out new growth. This is why trellises are the way to go for most Hoyas!

Girrrrl your latifolia/loyceandrewsiana 🤤🤤 those are some fine leavess!! I would guess it’s the latter! My macrophylla is also struggling I have no idea whats happening to it either 😭 your mystery villosa does look like a villosa type! Maybe cao dang? Some people say its the same as a globulosa but you know how things get confusing with hoya names 😐 Your hellwigiana is literal sunstress goals I need one so bad 😂😂 I definitely think that your Serpens is actually a Mathilde though! Serpens is a parent to it so I can see the confusion, but serpens are usually significantly smaller, fuzzier and has divets. Your collection is fire though 😭🔥 💚
Totally agree. The Serpens is a mathilde. And the villosa is a cao dang. Between Harli and your collections I’m just drooling over here. 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 😂😂😂

Love your collection (and videos) Harli. I love Hoya’s and currently have approximately 17 different varieties. The best thing about Hoya’s is that I can go on vacation for 3 weeks and come back to perfectly happy and healthy plants. They actually do better when I’m not constantly hovering over them.

I'm not connecting any more plants because winter is lame and I hate over wintering all my plants inside it just gets me down. I'm all about my subtropical back porch 8 months of summer jungle. But I love hearing you talk about your plants! It's like hanging out with a real life plant friend.
In an effort to limit my collection to fit in my small apartment I haven't tried Hoyas but I wanted to watch because I enjoy my time with you Harli G. I stayed to the end. You go girl and keep being you. When it comes time to buy my first hoya I will rewatch this.

I get so much joy from growing plants. Especially Hoya! My favorite is my wayetii that I rescued from Home Depot, but I love all Hoya. Love how different they all are. All the wonderful leaf shapes and textures.

I recently found your channel and I’ve been binge watching your videos. I’m so glad that you started putting text on the new videos because I want to make lists of the plants you talk about and taking screenshots of the video is so much easier!!! Especially when you tell us long scientific names that are hard to spell lol. LOVE your content and you are enjoyable to watch. I hope to have a nice plant collection one day

The one at 22:00 looks more like a Mathilde than a Serpens! The Serpens are REALLY pubescent, and have like really visible little pores. Their leaves are also much smaller than what the video seems to show, about the size of a pinky finger nail! So cute and little
