- Hey guys!!!! I'm finally bringing y'all my Hoya collection video! I have 75 Hoya/Dischidia plants in my collection, but I spared y'all from listening to me talk about the Dischidias lol. You'll see them every now and then though, I'm sorry if you were looking forward to those! I'll list my full collection down below. I hope you guys enjoyed, I love bringing Hoyas into peoples lives, and hearing y'all tell me that you got your first Hoyas because of me makes me so incredibly happy! I hate when people call them rare. You doing that only drives the price up on them. They are easily propagated so they aren't rare. Now day's every plant I see is considered rare and people try to charge outrageous prices for a cutting. How sad that we don't try to help other plant enthusiast gain cutting's without charging them their first born.

Excellent Hoya collection, love it( I'm sure its almost doubled up by now that I'm leaving this comment- by the way I watched this video before on my TV and now on my PC so I can leave comment). I love Hoya matilde as well. I got about may be 40 hoyas but they are growing big so fast and I'm running out of space. Good luck with them all and Iove your hoya videos. My wishlist is matilde, serpens, sunrise and eskimo. Those are the one that I really want to add this year. Love love love your collection!! I actually bought a curtisii from Home Depot and did repot it in well draining soil and it still died lol I managed to rescue two cuttings in leca so hopefully they will grow a new plant like yours 🌱💚

Amazing collection! I love hoyas for their diversity, so many fun leaf shapes, patterns and textures. My favorites are calystophylla and rotundiflora. Still have a deykeae on my wish list, but can't catch it in stock on Gabriella plants site.

Gosh, You have so many hoyas! I’m jealous. How do you remember all of their names. Hoyas are my favorite plants. I only have two but I want more. When this virus thing is over I will be celebrating by getting myself one or two more.

Hoya Chouke is pronounced roughly like shoo-kuh :) I love my elliptica so much, it's got such a nice compact growth habit compared to other Hoya I have and the LEAVES. Your collection is so beautiful, slightly bonkers but who cares if it makes you happy!

That Hoya VILLOSA is so beautiful! A nursery near me has the large ruffle leaf variety and I’m just waiting for the virus to be over so I can go and see if they’ll cut it up into smaller cuttings so I can get one

I loved to see you collection! I am researching a Hoya with quite large leaves, longer than wide not pointed, of dark green colour and a yellow line down the center. It has white blooms and I would love to know the species. Any ideas? :)

I absolutely love hoyas. But I love the ones with leaves that are large and veiny. Some of my favorite hoyas are: h. Sarawak, h. Surigaoensis, h. Fungii, h. sp Sulawesi GPS-8867, h. Villosa, h. Glabra, and h. Rigida. I’m on the hunt for h. Gunung Gading, h. Perak “teddy bear” and a h. sp IV WMZ. I think after I get my hands on those, I’m done buying hoyas. Haha.
Kat Y I need big leaf ones too!! I just really need to buy a shade cloth so my big leaves can live outside because I dont have enough room for a lot of those so for now Im trying to only choose my favorite ones! I NEED a sarawak and a gunung gading though 😂
Nick Alexander has a video showing how to stop a plant from reverting, you prevent the non variegated leaves from producing more offshoots by clipping the stems, which allows the variegated leaves to get more energy and produce more offshoots

You have an amazing Hoya collection. I noticed you have some in soil and some in LECA. How do you decide whether to put in soil or LECA?
Cheryl Breedlove Thank you!! I decide by how much effort Im feeling to put in that day 🤣 If a plant I get was shipped to me with obvious signs of being grown in either medium, Ill just pot up depending on that. If a plant was shipping to me with leca or water roots, and I dont have leca already soaked or any reservoirs available, Ill just pot it into soil 😅 thats less likely though. A lot of my plants are cuttings that I rooted and grew myself, and leca is how I like to root. So if they’re already in leca I just leave them there 🤷🏻♀️ I wont move to soil unless I think the plant could possibly benefit more from soil. For example, I had my sheperdii cuttings in leca only, and they kept falling out/were really unstable and constantly drying out, so I moved them to soil. Id also move plants to soil if I were moving them outside since it’d be easier for me to keep a hoya in soil watered correctly than I would one in leca outside (since I dont go out there as much as Id like) so yeah! Thats how 🙂 It all kinda just depends on how Im feeling 😅
Love all of your collections..went to look on Etsy and some of them are ridiculously pricy..Where do you get your hoyas at? Don't want to spend over 100 dollars on plants..im like you spend wisely😂
