Who are you quoting? Also, notice in this clip, how they don't have to put their guns down in order to sprint, and remain pinpoint accurate while doing so.
@VaygrX The elite units (black-armored, not referring to the Sanghieili race exclusively) are noted for having advanced weaponry. In HALO, they are the ones with Fuel Rod guns, which I somehow doubt the Shipmaster is going let them have on the Supercarrier. Hence, their having plasma rifles as opposed to plas-pistols.

@exyi Also they have the Grunts wielding Plasma Rifles and bleeding Green Blood when we all know they bleed Neon Blue Blood. Also it makes no sense that they have tech their later armor doesn't have.
I use this scene to tell people why the sprint system in Halo games isn't that great. Sounds strange, right since Sprinting gives the feel of faster movement. Well then hear me out. Here you see the Spartans not only sprinting fast but also shooting down enemies while at it. In the more recent games, you won't be able to do that as your character would be locked in a sprint animation. But do you know which Halo games were closer to give a similar feel?
