I think Rob Corrdry comes off super annoying and arrogant. He’s going off what Howard says but truly has no idea what Benjy does behind the scenes.
I thought the aftermath was great. Howard was very angry and you can see where he is trying to shape the show to what it is now.

Howard comes off like a massive hypocrite telling Benjy don’t fight back and just take the insults. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him tell anybody else that in the history of listening.
I love Benjy saying he's been late 4 times in 4 years but there's a RUclips compilation of him being late at least 20 times. And coming in a minute before the show starts, a SHOW, is being late.

Benji is an underrated, integral part of the show. Corrdy was incredibly boring and was simply following the Howard schtick of shytting on Benji with no context. It was lame, and as soon as Benji gives Corrdy some heat back Howard and Corrdy cry. Embarrassing.
Benjii is the most underrated talent in the history of the show.

He’s not involved in anything and I bet it burns his narcissistic ass that AGT’s ratings went up without him
AGT is lame. His projects? He has writers for his conversations. He's not writing anything anymore and hasn't for years. His stuff in the 90s was lame and never took off. Fartman was so lame. His songs he wrote were terrible. His movie was so so, basically just telling his story.
He was groundbreaking and very shocking but he's not the king of all media. He was king of radio back when radio was very vanilla.
He was great at creating characters out of the everyday employees and the weirdos he had around him. That was good! His nicknames and how he made fun of Jackie and Gary, the Wack Pack!! He had a knack for finding the weirdest and average people and making them interesting.

Howard stopped being the funniest person on the show as soon as Benji became his writer. Artie, Sal and Richard, and the Wack Pack kept the show funny, not Benji. Jackie was way funnier.
Benji is the most unfunny comedy writer in the history of comedy. He tries to hard to be the weird guy and it's painfully obvious. I'm sure there's a lot of writers in Hollywood that don't come across well on camera but can write something funny for someone who does. That's Benji.
