    If you’re still having this issue, open the fuse box under the hood. Remove the 10amp fuse, the third one from the left in the middle row. It’s the second red one. Leave it out for about a minute and then put it back in and start the car. It’ll reset the infotainment system. It worked on my 2019 RDX.

      Thanks for the suggestion. I tried pulling the fuse and it made no difference. The fuse is for the TCU. Which stands for telematic control unit. There's a total of 3 TCU fuses. I pulled all 3 and still no difference. Anyhow, I can see why it worked to reset your infotainment system by you pulling out the TCU fuse. It's due to the tcu and Infotainment control unit being powered on the same circuit it seems. I think the infotainment control unit went bad.

    Mine did this for the first time yesterday. Thankfully, it came back on when I turned the car back on.

      My suggestion is to not use the USB port for apple carplay. It seems to cause issues.

      Glad yours came back. Maybe you have an issue with the Fakra connectors.

    I’ve been having the same exact issue too , it’s annoying. It turns off randomly , and comes back on randomly as well. I noticed that if I go over a pothole on the road, it causes the black screen too. Looking for solutions too 😔

      Sounds like you have a loose connection. Should be the Fakra connectors. Which are covered under warranty.

    My screen came back on this morning...so for now I will not mess with it but I'm 100% sure it will happen again so when it does I will be back looking for a fix. Or sharing any answer I have found.

      Good to hear that your screen came back. The screen on my RDX is still blank. Don't think it'll ever come back at this point. Most likely a bad Infotainment control module

    It’s been a week & mine will not turn back on, if it does it turn on there’s no audio & turn back off.

      Still dealing with a blank screen. Has not come back on it's own unfortunately. Ended up taking the car apart yesterday. In order to access the Sirius XM tuner, infotainment control module and audio amplifier. I'm going to start by changing out all the fakra connectors. Some people have experienced the same issue and the fakra connectors was the cause of it. The fakra connectors are problematic and can cause a loose connection. So I figured to start there. Even if the cause of my issue, ends up being a bad module. I've attempted to unplug and reconnect each connector and also wiggle the wires around. Noticed no difference. Will try and buy the fakra replacement connectors tomorrow from my local dealer and install them myself. Hopefully it'll solve my issue. If it doesn't, I'll go ahead and change out the infotainment control module, Sirius XM tuner and audio amplifier. I'll change them out one at a time. As of now, that's the plan. One of the mentioned parts, is the cause of the blank screen issue. The problem is knowing which one 🙃. My powered tailgate also stopped working after I unplugged all the modules. I had to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes or so and then it started working again. So one of the mentioned modules, does also control the powered tailgate as well FYI. My driver's seat wouldn't slide front or back the other day as well. Had to sit on the seat and force it with my own weight while holding the slide button and it broke loose and is working fine again. So far I can say that these cars are a headache to own lol. There's nothing like an older Honda because these new one's just aren't as reliable 😔

      I think my infotainment control module is bad. Most of the time, the issue is caused by a bad connection (fakra connectors)

      @k20turbokid65  9 месяцев назад

      No. Haven't figured out the issue yet. Going to try and remove some panels today and see if I can get to the control module for the infotainment. Its located behind the cigarette lighter panel. Will have a look and see if it's a loose connection. I'll remove the module and have a look inside as well. I'll see if anything looks burnt out.

      Yeah the older ones. These new RDX's are very problematic. Also the other newer Honda's as well. When it comes to newer import vehicles, Toyota's are more reliable. Oh and that's coming from a Honda guy at that 🙃
