Demon's Souls is an action role-playing game developed by Bluepoint Games with assistance from SIE Japan Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is a remake of Demon's Souls, originally developed by FromSoftware and released for the PlayStation 3 in 2009. The game released as a launch title for the PlayStation 5 in November 2020.
he game features new weapons, armor, and rings and new items called "Grains" which give players a temporary resistance to effects like poison, fire, and bleeding.[1] As with the original, players are limited in how much they can carry before their character becomes encumbered, and some aspects of this encumbrance system have been adjusted. For example, in the original game, healing grasses have no weight, so players could potentially carry hundreds of them; in the remake, these healing items now have a weight associated with them so that the amount players can carry is significantly lessened, and more potent grasses weigh more than less effective ones.[1] One new feature, called "Fractured World", is a mirror mode which reverses the layout of environments.[2] The game also includes a photo mode, whereupon using it the game will pause, something not possible in the original. Filters from the photo mode can also be used during gameplay, including a "classic mode" filter intended to evoke the look of the original PlayStation 3 game.[1] Although the Souls series is notorious for its difficulty, Bluepoint stated that the remake would not introduce different difficulty levels.[3] The character creation feature has also been updated, with more options for customization

Am i the only one who's amazed by how beautiful that boss looks ? like they are actually living up to the TRAILERS FOR THE FIRST TIME
Im thinking it's more like the cutscenes. The trailers on TV are always CGI and super high end PCs so they will always look great. But I'm really liking how the cutscene shows and then the game plays and the graphics are identical. Growing up its always been amazing cutscenes and potato gameplay. Trying to convince ourselves like oooo look at the lighting features the shadows are so nice lol
With 7 billion+ people in the world I doubt it.

This game looks almost perfect. My only gripes are some areas with noticeable pop in and sharp edges as well.

I bought Dark Souls 3, played it for about an hour, and rage quit the game for a few years. Picked it back up just recently and can't get enough of these games. I sure wish this would come to Xbox.

i downloaded this game yesterday. i must say its really good.
I have a question but how do I play this game 4k at 60fps?
The visuals are stunning almost as much as Fallen Order's visuals did. The crisp and fluid movements on top of high res textures and minor particle effects give me the same wow that fallen order AND PS4 God of War gave me. That immersive eye candy is enough to make me wanna play this game and get buttfucked by everything in it once more.
Fallen Order almost looks like vomit compared to this beauty.
The main reason I bought the PS5, and absolutely loving it.
What is great about the game if you don't mind me asking? My brother let me borrow it but I still haven't played it because when I look at the gameplay the combat looks outdated and boring. Is the story at least good?
It's a Soul's game. You either like the combat you don't. to me it is immensely immersive and satisfying and almost makes you feel like you're actually the one fighting. It has spoiled me for all other combat systems in popular games; the "mash a bunch of buttons while attacking 50 different characters".
So outside of that, the graphics are incredibly enhanced, especially compared to the original PS3 Demon Souls obviously. I'm not sure about the "Story" (that stuff doesn't interest me that much, in fact one of the things I love about souls games is the lack of extended cutaways), but there is so much to do and discover. And the challenge level is so high that when you make it through a difficult section you really feel like you accomplished something. Awesome game and awesome series.

@@Venom-jt6sk Cool, I hope you like it. Warning, it's not easy:) After finish this, you can move on to the rest of the Souls series... dark souls remastered, DS2, DS3. You should be able to find them used ps4 really cheap.
@@travisc123 not to mention the dualsense controller makes every exclusive game feel fantastic compared every other third party games. Returnal, Spiderman, Ratchet and Clank, Demons Souls and Astro set the bar far too high for us all.

Bad usage of camera angles and sudden camera movements. It's hard to watch. You must keep this in mind when doing a youtube video.

Demon Souls is probably the easiest Souls game, but it still is pretty difficult. Some people just make it look easy
the bosses are easy, getting to the boss is probably the hardest thing about the game

If you want hard mode play dark souls 3. And on pc with 8k support it looks way better than This motion blur mess.

Usually the first games are like that but if you compare games like last of us 2 to launch titlesnthe difference is huge. It takes time for developers to unlock the potential of a new gaming system. I felt the same way with ps4 launch but u cant compare red dead or last of us 2 to any launch titles the difference is huge.
