I was at Sig's NH flagship store and I was to buy a P226 X5 Legion......until I saw the NEW P225 X5 Reserve. Just picked it up from my FFL today. It's the Legion X5 on steroids. DLC coating and the grip is so nice. It even comes in a custom lockable case. Didn't know about that feature until I received the gun. I own a Legion P226 DA/SA.
The Reserve is pretty dope, it definitely has the *look.

Congratulations man! Just the video I was looking for. I wanted a reliable hammer-fired full size 9mm for a SHTF pistol so I’m saving up for your other beauty, the 226 Legion in SAO. Should I just save up a little more and grab one of these? Let me know once you shoot it for a while!
Mmmm, 🤔 IMO I’d go with the P226 SAO. The P226 X5 Legion is a BEAST! But the P226 SAO has a smaller footprint and is more versatile. Or an even better option could be the P229 Legion SAO.

I'm looking at red dot that uses the C-MORE footprint. Any idea if it will mount directly or if there is an available adapter plate? This is a GREAT gun and you did a superb review. PS Red Hill Tactical has several OWB and IWB holsters that fit and they have color options that go well with this gun - gotta look cool 🙂
I’m not sure about your optics *footprint on this Gun but… CH has many plate options. I’m certain they have a plate, which will work for your C-MORE footprint.

What sku # c&h plate did you install? I only see the version for the five legion that has the replacement rear sight as part of the plate. I bought the replacement rear sight from Sig and need a plate like yours that doesn’t have the rear sight on it. Thank you.
It should be up on the site. If not, they may have discontinued it. I’d get the plate with the site and send the other part back to Sig. I’d be a *cleaner install.

What is the crew size for the outside holes? The position fit the RMR but the screw size #6-40 does not fit in the hole.

Hi - do the screws that come with the Holosun comp work with the holes? I read some issues with the thread pitch on some of the Holosun screws not compatible.
The screws provided with the H-Comp *should work… 👀 they weren’t feeling like they wanted to go on when I initially tried to install the optic. I highly suggest picking up the mounting plate kit from CH. The kit came with its own screws. Everything bolted right up with the CH products.

🤔, Mmm that’s a good question. I’m not sure. All my guns have lights on them. Without *any attachments you should be able to go with anyone really. Check out QVO, 👈🏽
