Making a total and complete ass of himself is really the very least he could do and I'm glad to see it.
Guys never struggled to breathe. I've had severe asthma attacks and the amount of energy output this guy is exercising tells me he's got perfectly good O2 in his bloodstream and isn't tired out from trying to breathe. He uses too many words, blusters too much and instead of simply being weak, he shakes and moves erratically when 'trying to stand up'. If you can't stand up - you don't try because you don't want to fall and you don't flail your arms, you look for things to push up off or grab onto to pull yourself up. I'll give him an A- for commitment and a F on his execution.
Agreed. When I was anemic 2 years ago I was constantly drained and even going up stairs was tough because I was out of breath almost immediately. And this guy expects me to be believe he's struggling while flailing his arms around?
This. I have chronic asthma. When I'm having an attack, I sit up as straight as I can and take the deepest breaths. His breaths are short and shallow, and he's always slouching. When you're having difficulties breathing, it means you literally can't get air into your lungs, even with the deepest of breaths, so every breath you take is deep because thats all you can get. All of his breaths are shallow, I've never seen him take a deep breath. The last time I went to the hospital, I couldn't lean back on the gurney, and the RT commented that my shoulders were at my ears, I was trying to sit up so much. He looks more like he's having a 24/7 panic attack over breathing issues.
I'm still weak from covid, when I have to sit down from walking i can say very little. When I stand I pull myself up on whatever is nearby. Everything you say makes way more sense than that act. I hope your asthma gets to the point where severe attacks are very rare.
Facts, I’m a cancer survivor. At one point I only weighed 90lbs and I weighed 120 in high school when I had abs. I couldn’t sit up. I had to be fed via my blood. I never tried to stand because I knew I’d have just flopped onto my face.
Okay but moving to the UK and naming yourself "Arthur Knight"?? That's like someone moving to America and naming themself "Seinfeld Comedian". It's like the classic TV setup where someone asks them their name and they answer with the first thing they see. Iconic really.

As someone from Glasgow, I'm honestly more shocked that police actually did something for once and even arrested someone. That must be like a whole years worth of work for them
My thoughts on the first story: I’m disabled and it’s people like this guy who make it so that every time I park in a handicap spot, I see people watch as I get out of the car justtttt to make sure I’m “disabled enough” in their eyes to “deserve” to park there. Or why it took 23 years, two denials, a lawyer, & my having to go before a judge just so I could “prove” I was disabled enough to get govt assistance even though I’ve been severely disabled since birth.
We need so much more education on disability, people are the worst. There's so many invisible disabilities out there, people need to get over the concept that they can "see" who is valid and who isn't.
I feel for you. I got denied and lost my vehicle and now i have to work a normal job to survive. I had to help my dad pay for my sister's funeral after he found her overdosed at 30. All this while dealing with a messed up back from a car accident, bipolar, psorisis, and rectal bleeding. I can't even process grief. I don't know what government assistance is. They lost all my HIPPNA paperwork i requested. How much was your lawyer? Anything i can do? Calling the SSA seems pointless.
And the process is hell on Earth also. Having to jump through hoops to prove to someone you're sick enough to deserve help. Was dealing with it for my mother, it was such relief once it was over.
The Rossi story has been in the headlines in Scotland for like the past year and every time I watch it- it seems so crazy! Like the Drs in court have said there is no medical reason he can’t breathe/walk normally etc. Like every time he gets interviewed he seems to get aggressive etc, it’s so clear he’s done the crimes.
@WisdomqueenCrafts Joe biden is somehow walking free despite all his crimes!!! Democrats don't care about the rule of law and only care about themselves. They ransacked the treasury and our economy has tanked!!! We need Trump back more than ever to save america
Yeah, he didn’t even bother with popular Brits in American media like David Tennant or John Oliver. He just went a slight bit more convincing than Dick Van Dyke.
I genuinely think it’s such a failure to never tell teens never let someone convince you to send a nude. Just at that age the person you’re sending it to will not be responsible and could be a complete predator. depending on where you are it’s child porn and that charge will stay with you even as a teenager. Happened to 5 kids in my sisters school bc of distributing nudes 😞😔
That would come under the umbrella of "talking to kids about sex" and nobody is supposed to talk to kids about sex because if they never hear about sex as a kid they won't participate in sex as a kid. Give them a pamphlet explaining it on their 18th birthday. /s
How do you argue with a teenager that is going to do whatever they want, anyway? Or how do you argue with the statement that its their body and can do whatever they want with it. When we live in a culture that doesn't predate on younger women's bodies this conversation will make sense, until then, all chatter about it is meaningless "won't someone please think of the children."
@@daltongrowley5280 I hear what you’re saying, but it doesn’t have to be an argument. I’ve talked to both of my teens (boy and girl) about this topic and it has never been in the context of a lecture - it’s sharing a danger that could ruin your life. Kind of like how we warn our kids not to drag race in our neighborhood. And not to take drugs. And all the other things they can’t know the dangers of unless we explicitly tell them. My kids live in this world. I can’t wait until it’s a better place for women to tell them the truth. ETA - the drag racing thing must seem so random, but we have a huge problem with it in our area. Too many wealthy kids with mommy’s car.
When I was a teen I would've been flattered if someone ask to see my nudes, but I would never have sent them, because I had average parents that taught me to respect myself.
I went to school with Madison through middle and high school. I remember her gaining popularity, and it seemed like things were going great for her. I had no idea she was struggling with something so terrible inside
I am the same age as Madison Beer and grew up in a town next to hers, so she was a local celebrity. I vividly remember when her nudes were leaked and kids all over my lunch room were flashing them around like a badge of honor, as if they were cool or well connected enough to obtain them. It really goes to show you that fame dehumanizes someone. No one would have cared if she was just an average girl.
I mean, the whole convo REGARDING social media responsibility feels controversial. Like I'm of the opinion that she partially deserves what she's had to have gone through, cuz why are you sending nudes to ANYONE?? That seems a bit dumb. There's a reason why we cover ourselves with clothes. And also, it feels hypocritical of her to cry about sexual predators when she's not exactly the most modestly dressed person on the internet. I mean, one of the first pictures I saw of her in this video was her wearing a quite a revealing dress. So that just seems like an attention ploy to me. Same with Pokimane, tbh.
@@saajiddaya2152 Sorry, you're missing the consent factor here buddy. She is consenting to posting herself in revealing clothes, she was consenting to sending her pictures to a single person who could view those images but not save them. Once consent is removed, as it was with the person saving her images and then sending them to others who then sent them to more people, it becomes assault. Spreading sexual content or performing sexual acts without consent, is assault, period. And just to clarify your own sentence, you are stating that a 15 year old "partially" deserved to go through a humiliating and dehumanizing situation in a nonconsensual situation because as an adult she chooses to post images where she does not dress modestly enough for you on the internet. There is not a single 15 year old in the world that deserves to go through the situation she went through.
You can't tell me with a straight face after showing me that Nicholas Rossi clip and not expect me to laugh so hard and think that was a Tim & Eric Show Good Job comedy sketch.
My 11 year old has asked for Snapchat and this is exactly why I won’t let her. I was 13-16 being taken advantage of by men online. It was so new, I wasn’t taught internet safety. Kids need to be protected. I know my kid is going to make dumb decisions. It’s a part of regular brain development. But my job is to make sure those bad decisions will not traumatize her.

Everything about the world has been so shit lately that it's hard not to feel like we're spinning on a time bomb, but the fact that the ozone hole is basically fixed gives me so much more hope, and while it's gonna take a while, it makes me happy that there are still people who are working for peace, ya know?
I didn't even realise that the Rossi story didn't make it across to the US. The details are genuine insane. The tattoo story is even stupider as he tried to say it weas the doctors themselves that did it. And then the accent. PLenty of scottish people don;t have strong accents, plenty sound closer to english than they do scottish (borders accents) but I can guarntee noone who is born and bred scottish sounds like that.
He moved to Bristol first which is where he met his now wife so maybe that’s why he has that odd English accent. Although apparently he told his wife he was from Dublin so I have no clue as to why he has an English accent as opposed to an Irish one.
Madison Beer saying “I didn’t get that privilege” about social media companies not taking down her leaked nudes is so sad. It shouldn’t be a privilege, it should be the bare minimum. She was literally 15, it’s literally cp. she should never have had to spend any kind of money to have those removed from the internet.
The Pinkerton situation is somewhat fascinating because of the sheer imbalance of power when sending a notorious private security firm to retrieve materials. If that was their SECOND choice, after a company rep, I don't know that I would be as upset. But first choice? There's literally no way to know if he got coerced to pretend everything's ok or not, cause the firm has such a dark history of bloodshed. If Pinkertons showed up at MY door, I would pretend everything is ok cause there's no way in hell I'd feel safe speaking poorly about them when they know my home address and face. It's insane WOTC could ever think this was ok.

Having worked at a store's main warehouse that sent items to all their stores across the province... I can assure you, boxes of products meant to be released at a later date, have plenty of warning labels and "do not open until X" on them. Meaning whoever sold that, had a total disregard for it Hasbro should be going after the store that sold them, not the dude "leaking" them online.
I think that's exactly why they sent people to the house, to expedite getting as much info as possible, to go through trash if they had to in order to get shipping labels, etc. Sure, the guy could've done it, if he was going to play nice. With people, they could've maybe gotten something either way. Still not sure if it's _worth_ going through all the trouble, but I guess that's Wizard's call.
Yeah, and as a retail worker, sometimes you just have to unpack the boxes and unload whatever pallets you can because you're told to meet XYZ amount of work every night. I regularly have to open boxes that say "do not put out on the floor until next month" because I have literally nothing else to do. I process/put them on certain storage racks for later and whomever actually puts them out onto the salesfloor without checking is the one at fault.

As someone with a skin reaction to formaldehyde, I was flabbergasted at how many products can contain it: textiles (a shocking majority of clothing), paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue), adhesives (tapes/glues including some medical ones), hair care products, makeup, cleaners, disposable diapers, pads, tampons, sterile fabric items (gowns, drapes, masks, and caps) used in hospitals, building materials (mdf, particleboard, plywood, insulation, roofing materials), carpet, the list goes on. With the sheer abundance of this one, it is really unsurprising as to why it wouldn't be fully banned yet. I can't even imagine the number of companies who would have to change their entire manufacturing processes to eliminate this one.
Formaldehyde is like the most basic aldehyde so it's in absolutely everything made by hydrocarbons, so any synthetic fibres, plastic, and even naturally occurring in a lot of things. Also burning anything organic or carbon based, like wood or natural gas, produces formaldehyde as a byproduct. Edit: just the way organic chemistry works its impossible not to have formaldehyde in most of these products.
So I’m not crazy when I randomly smell formaldehyde… it’s the most recognizable smell to me besides death and skunk spray, and I smell it randomly in stores

That chemical segment is gutting. Autoimmune diseases aren’t well understood, but we know that things like exposure to chemicals in the environment can factor into it. I’ve been sick with multiple life-long autoimmune diseases my entire life. I’m almost 29 and became permanently disabled two years ago from them. I try not to think about what my life could have been like if I hadn’t been sick, but it’s a kind of sorrow I don’t think I’ll ever stop feeling. And I’m just one of millions upon millions of people going through this. I know it’s not a guarantee that I or anyone else wouldn’t have developed autoimmune diseases regardless of chemical exposure, but there’s a chance. It would have been really cool to have that chance.
that would be a though one to study though. like just knowing about autoimmune diseases is a relatively recent thing, don't think you can get any real figures on them pre-industrial revolution. maybe by doing animal studies or something though.... regardless though even if they're not causing auto-immune diseases a lot of them have been shown to cause serious environmental and health risks yet they're still being used to this day...

In regards to the Pokimane/Madison Beer story- I think we’re seeing these stories come out is because this is the first generation who really grew up with technology and are now able to speak about how adults failed to protect them during that time. I don’t think its necessarily the adults fault because there was no precedent on how to monitor these types of social media platforms/ the internet so it would be difficult to best protect people online. The optimist in me thinks that our generation’s children will be better protected from this type of stuff because we were able to pin point where the issues were that allowed the exploitation and harassment.

They were rendered obsolete by FBI in this function. Pinkertons were essentially bounty hunters for hire and their standards left lot to be desired, but at the time they were just about only ones capable of conducting cross county/state investigations and manhunts.
It really is so sad and disgusting that women get sexually objectified, taken advantage of, and exploited online without their consent. Having that fear of being seen as meat or an object by creepy or dangerous men must be paralyzing for some women. Every person deserves the right to be respected and safe online. I think with modern social media, things are moving in the right direction and many men are being held accountable now, but there is still a lot of improvement to be had and work to be done. Protective laws need to be passed and children need to be taught the laws at a young age

5:08 I think a lot of the conversation revolving this needs to happen, and I think the reason why a lot of this is happening and why there is so much context given to the reactions and the emotions and what to do going forward is a symptom of the internet overall. Internet culture has deep DEEPLY rooted misogynistic origins, to the point where finding pornography and nudity online was a running social-trope in television to sell someone on getting it. More and more the conversation needs to happen, the perspective needs to be given, and understanding and reasoning need to be at the forefront. Yes it's easy to say nobody should face the internet and deal with shit, but that's a great thought to post to twitter to seem vaguely virtuistic. I love the fact these women are speaking on their experience, because the internet, while giving everyone the ability to become a celebrity at the drop of a hat or on a whim, has left out the luxury of personal context when nobody cares enough about YOU than they do the content they produce. I hope more speak up, more people listen, and a lot of this shit changes. Anyways, 'preciate you Phil

The Madison Story: I’m a Gen X-er - by that I mean I grew up in this magical time where our stupid antics were not digitally memorialized. We had to work for those stupid memories and we could easily purge and PERMANENTLY destroy that stupidity once we saw it in all its analog glory. The closest we got to “Instant” photos was a Poloraid - Instax type photo for you Youngens ;-) but even those could be easily destroyed. Even in that environment I my grandma (member of the “Greatest Generation”) would tell me “Mijita (sweetie) don’t take any pictures that you wouldn’t want everyone to see”. That always stuck with me. It’s what I have always told my now 18 yr old. However I often wonder why she was so adamant about that advice. Was she just wise and could see that one picture could be used negatively or had she seen/felt the actual effects of that personally. Either way it just goes to show that even someone born in 1920 could see that women could easily be exploited by new technology.

I feel like I'd be ecstatic seeing them fail like this. So hopefully that's a silver lining for any of his victims.
I was like, his oxygen mask isn’t even secured properly. Therefore all of the oxygen is escaping. So he must not really need it…
I'm still weak from covid, when I have to sit down from walking i can say very little.

The main thing keeping it from turning that way is that the guy who got the stuff isn't a paranoid, shut-in, lunatic. It's the people who don't have friends or hobbies that you gotta watch out for. Also, most people who play Magic aren't Fox News viewers.
@HauntedShadowsLegacy Depends on where you live. My area is pretty conservative leaning, and there is a lot of chuds at the local shops around town.
My question is what is stopping the Pinkerton agents from meeting an actual castle doctrine?
Yeah, and as a retail worker, sometimes you just have to unpack the boxes and unload whatever pallets you can because you're told to meet XYZ amount of work every night. I regularly have to open boxes that say "do not put out on the floor until next month" because I have literally nothing else to do. I process/put them on certain storage racks for later and whomever actually puts them out onto the salesfloor without checking is the one at fault.

In regards to the Pokimane/Madison Beer story- I think we’re seeing these stories come out is because this is the first generation who really grew up with technology and are now able to speak about how adults failed to protect them during that time. It really is so sad and disgusting that women get sexually objectified, taken advantage of, and exploited online without their consent. Having that fear of being seen as meat or an object by creepy or dangerous men must be paralyzing for some women. Every person deserves the right to be respected and safe online. even with the "uplifting" message at the end, I still feel like we're all just on a slow march towards total death as a species
It doesn't matter whose side you're on politically, I haven't met a single person who is excited to hear that Biden was running for re-election.
Nobody was the first time either...he has always been an lesser of two evils option.
@@memegazer Agreed. It's like they know they're going to win anyway, so they just put their Golden Boy up there
Oh lordy! A real outro again? I like it!!
Oooohhhh, dass an ad i can get behind. Love me some good teas 👌🏽
One of the craziest things about this story is the Pinkertons still exist. Like they've been a constant thing since the 1800's. Like you think they would at least 'rebrand' to something with less murder in their background, but no.
I don't know how many people also watch the Behavior Panel here but I CANNOT wait for this Arthur dude to get some of that spotlight.
You know you can email them with suggestions. Its in their page bio.
Magic the gathering story: They did also threaten him with fines up to 200k and 10 years in jail, while threatning his wife.
And he is not fine. He was scared and didn't know how to react. He does now
Love that you finished up with David Attenborough. 🥰
When Sir David Attenborough talks I listen.
Rossi could have said his matching tattoos were just a coincident, but he went full conspiracy mode.
I am surprised there are not more comments about the UN story of course it went as expected but the fact a world war was brought up due to their aggression is mind blowing.
Not me feeling so much comfort and security with a DeFranco sign off ❤
If the WHO is so concerned about toxic chemicals and people's health, then why are cigarettes still legal?
Saw someone walking around my job with an emotionally exhausted shirt and I had to stop myself from saying "sup you beautiful bastard" in fear of getting written up 🙃
The Rossi story is mad. My mum is part of the staff that foiled him in the hospital 😂
didnt he try to get away?
@@barrybark3995 Yeah, he got admitted with COVID and got found out. Its comical.
Does he think acting like a Volus from Mass Effect will allow him to go scot-free???
Okay that fits and its funny 😂 I cant unsee it
Literally nodding my head
Regarding your new tea sponsorship, I'm so excited to try this. I have tried many "Tea of the Month Clubs" and am stoked to see one I'm not familiar with.
What's your favorite tea, Phil?
Additionally as a big dnd fan, I'm so tired of Wizards of the Coast and how they've been treating their community. They haven't learned their lesson since the DndOne Copyright/Royalties controversy.
