The Kayenta Formation is of Early Jurassic age, somewhere in the vicinity of 195 million years old. The Late Jurassic epoch, during which dinosaurs such as _Diplodocus_, _Stegosaurus_, and _Allosaurus_ are well known from eastern Utah, is roughly 150 million years ago. No rocks of Late Jurassic age are present in southwestern Utah (alas).
Wow, I've never seen any before. Thank you, Garrett. Safe travels.
You are welcome. Glad you thought it was cool. Thanks.
Queensland also has the famous Lark Quarry Footprints :) 😀
I will look those up. Thank you.
Thank you. Sorry for the short trip. Hope all is fine.
Thank you and all is ok. I will get out there again in the next month or so and finish “tracking” the dinosaur tracks.
what's cool is tracks we leave today could end up preserved like this.
Great comment. I often think of that. Walk in as much mud as you can and you never know.
Just found your channel! Cool vids 😊

The Theropod footprints may be possibly an Allosaurid or Coeleurosaurid.... I don't think it would be a giant raptor....
Thanks.
