A new addition to the Wilson lineup of rackets. Thanks to the crazy low stiffness achieved by some technologies we never remember the names of, it offers a great feel while being really arm-friendly. Also offering a great amount of power in spin, this sounds like an incredible racket. All of that is in theory though and it is our job to see if that's all true. On duty today, playtesting for you are Grisha, Niki, and Areg.

Hi guys, you just got a new subscriber. The quality of the editing is exceptional imo. I even very much enjoy little things which obviously took tought and humor to create (e.g. when Areg describes the CLASH in metaphors and he says just 3 words when the joke obvioulsy implies a lot of metaphors, and then the final word CLASH is graphically positioned in the far right of the screen implying that he missed a couple of metaphors there - i thought it was really smart and funny)
Thank you so much for such an awesome feetback and for subscribing!! Means so much to me that you notice those editing thingies! Definitely takes some time 😂😂
@@gladiatorstribe I know and here's hoping that all that work will lead you to success. Hope you never tone down the quality.
@@olteniatkd Huge thanks for the support! We'll keep the quality of our content rising!!
Story time with Uncle Areg 🤓. “Today’s story is titled, The teddy bear and his pillow...”
Good review. Somewhat surprised that all seemed to get on with with. Might arrange a play test. And +1 for the 👕.
Yeah just Areg being Areg 😂😂 I was pretty surprised as well to be honest. Wasn't expecting that performance. Absolutely awesome to know you're +1 for the t-shirts! Keeps us going!
Awesome video! My new favourite channel you guys are so fun to watch! Could you do one on babolat pure aero vs?
Hugee thanks! We appreciate it sooo much!! We're putting out a video on the AERO really soon. Can't say when we'll be doing the VS version but it's going to happen!
Love this channel. Fun en good revieuws. It’s time for the Head Gravity pro review! Grisha’s racket of choice.
Thanks a lot! This really means a lot to us! We know we know! The review of my racket is in the process! Give us a bit more time!
Thanks guys! best review of this racquet that I have seen and there's a lot of them around! But dude it's a granny racquet!! LoL I've seen quite a few lady pros from the 70's and 80's hitting with this one, some big names , oh by the way they still hit cleaner then I ever could haha! 😂
Hahahahha yeah, you're right. It's a great racket for older people or those who have reoccurring injuries. Tho it's really not that bad for dedicated players who like a really soft feeling frame.
ur videos are fun to watch, and i've been using a clash 100 for 1month, but still finished the video.
Hahaha thanks a lot! That actually means a lot to us!!
Nice to see high level players giving a racket review.. please review the clash 98 too if possible.
Huge thanks! We definitely will do it in the future!
Or the 108 for us seniors.
Thank you for this review guys
No problem! We hope you've enjoyed it 😉
Loved this review! 😁 Would this be a good racket for someone who enjoys playing tennis with friends but isn't planning on going pro?
Yes, definitely! I would say it's a good racket for intermediate players and advanced beginners.
Subscribed. Areg is my new favourite youtuber. .."like a teddybearrr" :)hahahahaha
Thanks a lot! He's my favourite RUclipsr as well 😂

Awesome content. Interesting approach to reviews. I am a club 4.0 player and have been using clash 100 for a year. Feel that it’s a great racquet to rally/practice with, but unable to trouble opponent much. No cheap points off my serve. Would like to see some comparison reviews against ezone 98/100.
The Ezone is definitely a more powerful frame. You're right it will give you more easy points for sure. Also the feel is way better. The Clash though is so much easier on the arm.
@@gladiatorstribe you guys rock!! Can you also compare ezone 100 to clash / pure drive being same head size.
The Ezone 100 is going to be even more powerful than the 98. Wouldn't say it's a good idea to get the 100 version. Unless you're really craving for power. Because you lose that sweet stability and feel the bigger you go with the head size.
I own Ezone 100 (my main frame) and Clash 100, and they could not be more different. Ezone will give you a ton of power and stability on the serve and groundstroke, but the Clash will be much easier on your arm long-term. I often use the Clash when the wrist or bicep is acting up, but whenever I've considered using it for a league match, I regret it and switch back to Ezone or Vcore within a couple games.
@@mskcrc is it easy to switch back and forth? Similar launch angle? I did try an ezone 100 from a nearby store, but felt the power to be a bit much. Could be the strings. Shots were not always landing in, but serves were amazing. With clash all my shots land in, need to be more creative to win points and play longer rallies. Good for short angles, but serves do not have the pop, ton of topspin, but less speed.
Great Video! How does this one compare to Head Speed MP? Which one do you like better? Thank you.
The Speed MP is way more powerful. Whereas the Clash provides a better feel. I (Grisha) prefer the clash. Though the Speed is Areg's racket of choice. All depends on what you value in a racket and what you're looking for.
Thanks for the great review :)
Could you do a review on the Prince Textreme Tour 310g please?
I watched all your reviews and I am almost agree on every aspects you have noticed.
I would love to see what your thoughts on Prince TXT 310g will be!!!
Keep up the good work Gladiators!
Huge thanks for your awesome feetback and for watching all of our videos! We would love to but the access to Prince rackets is quite limited in Spain 😕
Wilson say you gotta string it lower than you did for the racket to work properly, also some other testers say the same, so maybe it didn't do it justice with 55 lbs, idk, just an observation. Great vid guys!
We've tried it with other tension as well! We don't usually listen to what the manufacturer says and string it the way it feels better to us! Actually stringing it lower felt worse to us, even to Areg 😂
@@gladiatorstribe i had to string RPm at 50pds 16 gauge
I'm just starting to play tennis, which racket should i buy, the wilson pro staff or wilson clash?
Just bought the clash 100 v1 and on groundstrokes and slices it feels nice, struggling with stability when I volley, serves feel like they lack weight and some stability.
I have 3g at 3 and 9 and 2 overgrips. Racket weighs about 321g strung
I’m thinking of using this mostly as a singles racket for now.
It is a very comfortable racket, especially when you hit in the sweet spot, feels like it’ll definitely break strings fast tho
Sounds like a great setup right there! Agree with you on everything you've said!
Great review. But was expecting Grisha's Gravity's review😁
My Gravity review is happening soon! Might not be the next one 😅 The one after tho... who knows 🤭
@@gladiatorstribe Please make it the next one. Your that video can remove all my confusions.🙏🥺
Already scheduled the next video 😬 We promise we'll make the Gravity one after.
@@gladiatorstribe ok😪
Guys a suggestion (which I borrowed from a Pro) - once a year, would be great if you could comparatively review racquets category by category by playing the same stroke with different racquets, and then looping through different strokes, different players. That would give buyers a on the spot comparison of control, feel, stability, power and spin, and is likely to differentiate your already brilliant reviews. Just a thought since you're putting in so much effort!
Thanks a lot for the advice! We could totally do something along those lines!!
I know it's more of Wilson's budget option, but would you ever consider a Burn review? That seems to be Wilson's take on spin racquets and I'm curious about it. Just subscribed, awesome channel!
Huge thanks!! Might definitely review the burn in the future! Sneak peak to the review I (Grisha) MIGHT not enjoy it 😂😂
Any thoughts on the clash 98???
Well, as with any racket that has a smaller head size, you get more feel and more control. Whereas with the 100, you have more spin potential and power. Do keep in mind that the 98 has a low stiffness as well, so you will really feel the difference in power between them.
How do you compare this to the new 98 Blade 16x19, v8? With the new Blade having a lower RA and some Clashy 'feel flex' tech, these racquets seem so darn close on paper and even hitting. The Blade is a bit heavier at 305. I have a OHBH. Help?
The Blade, due to the smaller head and thinner beam has better feel and better stability, not to mention the superior control. Clash is more forgiving both in terms of sweetspot and harshness on the arm. Depending on what you're looking for in a racket it's either one or the other!
I hit lots of backhand slice. How are about backhand slice feel?
Wouldn't say it has the best feel when it comes to the slice. It's easy to do short spinny ones but problems occur when you try to go deeper.
Sick video, i'd love to see you guys post some match play video between eachother.
Thanks a lot!! Appreciate it! We'll be posting videos from our matches a bit later on! Because not that many people are really interested in that kind of content.
Nice!!! Are you guys planning to sell Gladiators T-shirt? I love to buy!!! ^^
Yes yes!! For sure! We're looking for a perfect manufacturer. We want them to be really high quality so that it's enjoyable and comfortable to use them for trainings and tournaments. We're really excited to release them but we need some time to perfect the production.
Hey we got the same taste! My vcore also has hyper g strings :)

@@uninsta_ll1087 yoo have you watched their wilson blade video. you use it so it would be cool
What happened to the 3 guy ? Love your videos btw. Love from Portugal big fan here
Hi guys, you are awesome and i LOVE your reviews!
I am switching racquets and have narrowed it down to the Clash 100 Pro, the Blade 98 v7 (16/19), and the Ultra 100 v3. Which would you recommend? I prefer a decent-powered racquet with some good control. Since Covid is still a thing, most of the demo programs in my area are suspended, I'm unable to get a demo of the 3 racquets.
I would really appreciate your thoughts!
Huge thanks! We greatly appreciate this!! I (Grisha) wouldn't recommend getting the Ultra to anyone, under any circumstances. Well, unless you get the player version but then it's a completely different racket. Between the Clash and the Blade, well the Clash will have a bigger sweetspot and better access to spin, whereas the blade is going to be more CONTROLFUL (as Areg says). The Clash also has a very low stiffness, so your arm will day thank you to that.
@@gladiatorstribe Thankyou so much Grisha! You really helped me decide which one to get. I have now settled on the Clash 100 Pro, it sounds like the racquet for me after hearing what you said and watching your review again.
Thanks so much and keep up the Fantastic videos!
@@alexiosofsparta1124 Really glad it helped! Hope you enjoy your new racket! Huge thanks!
i am very happy with the clash, but my impression is that the strings are going down much more rapidly compared with other rackets. or am i wrong?
Honestly, we didn't really notice that. What racket are you comparing it to? Also did you maybe change the strings or the tension?
Yeah and it is very tension sensitive. I felt that the flexibility is suppressed at higher tensions. At least for me, Uniqueness of clash is felt 45-50 lb with stiff poly. Above that it feels very low powered for defense. Below 45 it becomes erratic. The issue is that because of the open string pattern, it stays in that tension range only for a very short time. Still liking this racquet though.
Oh, I see so you talking about tension loss. We couldn't really test that, because the three of us played with it, so the strings broke. You can be right tho, it's a thing that happens with some rackets. Especially on rackets with open string patterns.
@@gladiatorstribe hi gladiators, thanks for your answer. to tell the truth, i can not really compare it to other rackets, i started playing again after a long pause with the clash and only once a while i tried another racket, but not for long. it is simply my impression that the racket is a "string eater", no matter what string i try. luxilon alu power, 24kg: after five hours of playing the strings go to all directions and feel bad, lost of control. the same with luxilon adrenalin (a bit better) and other luxilon strings i tried. i am trying higher tensions, but like bejoy sunny mentioned, then other qualities of racket might be suppressed. also wit the rest of bejoys comment i agree. still like the racket. you just have to spend some more money on new strings.
I see, well, unfortunately not much you can really do about it. Getting a string that loses tension and breaks less. Tho once again might lose on other qualities of the racket.
How’s the Clash 100 vs Gravity MP?
The gravity mp will give you better feel, while the clash will provide you with more spin potential.
I need your opinion on how does this racket compare to the head graphene 360+ speed mp?
The speed is way more powerful and the access to spin on it is better. The feel of the clash is superior to the speed's and it's really light on the arm.
Areg is a cool guy!
I tired the 98 Clash not bad actually there’s a new more stable version coming out and new blade, so hopefully better paint job lol 😂
The 98 Clash should be a really interesting racket in my (Grisha) opinion. More stability and better feel please. Hopefully they come up with something different for the next one. I'm kind of doubting it tho 🙃
how's it if compared to RADICAL MP?
Very different. More comfortable, less control, less feel, better forgiveness.
Which club/location do you play at?
We train in Cornella, Barcelona!
So you guys normally strung with 1.30?
Yes! Mainly because we break our strings a lot 🥲
@@gladiatorstribe Also, are you guys mostly around 180cm? Thx!
Areg is around 175 Niki is around 180 and Grisha is 190. We're all pretty different in terms of height 😂
Do you think for a 16 years old guy, that started play tennis a few years ago, this racket or the head speed mp? I like to play flat shots with decent power and precision, Thank you!
The speed mp is more powerful and provides a nice feel. The speed mp provides way more power and more spin. They both could work great for you. If you have the chance try to test them out before buying.
I just had to try my friend’s speed mp, I pretty like it, so I think I will buy that.
@@riccardobelli8918 If you liked it, then go for it!
How would you compare this one with head prestige S model?
Prestige is more stable and the Clash is softer on the arm. In terms of power they're quite similar.
Thanks...I tried stringing yonex poly tour pro 16g on this racquet and it hurt my arm and heavy balls are hard to take. Can you let me know some good strings with tension for this racquet?
@@srinivasan-cv6gl That's a pretty comfortable string so I'm assuming the racket might be the problem. A string that's got more power. Have you tried any multifilament. I'd say it's the way to go for power and comfort. In terms of tension, the lower the easier on the arm and the more power.
@@gladiatorstribe Thanks..Great Review as always...Love ur channel for ur suggestions in comments.. can I leave the mains with same string yonex poly tour pro..and strung crosses with luxilon alu power 16g with 54 lbs or should I need to choose any multi for arm comfort ? If so which multi would be your choice and tension?
Next rev about pure aero?:)
Very possible, very possible 😉

Is 100L good?
Well, if you want a lightweight, easy on the arm racket, yes! If you're a dedicated player rather than ocasional or beginner, not a good choice.
@@gladiatorstribe how does graphene 360 lite compare?
@@r4robin33 Which one?
@@gladiatorstribe speed pro version. I am intermediate level, but not very strong, whenever I play with a heavier racket my swings take too long, so I always prefer slightly lighter, I’m just not sure whether to go with the 100L or 360 Lite. Currently using YouTek Speed Elite.
@@r4robin33 Well, the head speed is going to offer you more power, so if that's what you're looking for, it's the better pick. The clash is going to be very light on the arm and offer more control.
Thought this was Shapo and Cilic from the first frame
Hahahaha I bet you only realized I wasn't Shapo when you saw my two handed backahnd 😂😂
I hated the Clash 100 no feel and plays like a wet noodle. My last Wilson racket.
That's a pretty rough description of a racket 😂
@@gladiatorstribe True, I live in Spain and play mostly on clay. It might be a better racket for hard court play. I just think the racket is way overhyped.
As you might have noticed by our sarcastic description of the racket and the intro, we think so as well 🤭
hey clash 98, i like how you do

Ooff what do you think about the cosmetics of that one?
@@gladiatorstribe AMAZING! I wanted to buy the normal MP but after seeing this I’m going to wait. I think only the pro staff beats it in cosmetics
That's a really high design evaluation! Though I (Grisha) agree, it looks pretty dope. You're right it's really hard to beat Pro Staff's looks. Is it even possible 🤔
