    Wilson Clash 100 V2.0 tennis racquet review
    Weight (unstrung) : 295 g
    Balance : 31 cm
    Swingweight : 313
    Head Size : 100 in² / 645 cm²
    String pattern : 16x19
    Beam width : 24,5 mm
    Stiffness : 57 Ra
    Length : 68.5 cm / 27 in
    Considering the technical characteristics of the Wilson Clash 100 V2.0 Racket, I would recommend it to tennis players who meet these criteria:
    - intermediate players / advanced players who want a rather light racquet,
    - players who want a racquet with an intermediate level of power,
    - with any style of play, because the racquet is very versatile,
    - who are looking for very correct access to top spin, without being extreme,
    - looking for a headlight racquet with a very good maneuverability,
    - looking for an extremely comfortable tennis racquet.

    Having used the V1 for some time and currently playing for a couple of months now with this new V2, I think your review is spot on ! I agree 100% with your comments and comparison with the previous version. This racket is absolutely great for an intermediate player that worries about elbow and shoulder injuries, like I do. It is really worth the upgrade. Thanks for all your great reviews Jean-Pierre

    Hi Sir, we love watching your play and review style. I am an intermediate level player and using porostaff 97 so far. I feel my strokes are mostly flat and lack the level of top spin that I would want to have. After watching your video..I would want to try Clash 100 v2.
    By the way are you still using Clash 100 as your daily raquet?

  • @rtpwyk

    Loved your racquet swapping part in this review. I never thought to try it myself. Are we to expect an English version of your Aero review? I am mostly curious to know there is more comfort than the last few Aeros.

    • @team-tennisenglish1514
      @team-tennisenglish1514  Год назад +2

      I completely lack time to make english versions of my reviews. I'd like but currently it takes too long. For The Pure Aero, mainly less powerful and less top spin than the previous one.

    Someone with this guys level should be trying the clash pro as well. I hit with my friends v1 100 and v2 pro. They are very different but both great. 100 has tons of spin, flexes like a wet noodle and felt like it was impossible to miss. The pro has more heft and more pop and stability. I am torn on which one to get as they are both excellent with different strengths.

      For control, monofilament are recommanded ; Luxilon Alu Power for instance. I prefer the Luxilon Element which is softer. I liked the Wilson Revove also. Rather comfortable for a poly string.

    Jean-Pierre, i’ve been testing the Yonex Vcore 100 and the Clash 100 V2. I sent the Yonex back. The more I hit with the Clash, the more I like it. I’m getting good power , some spin, good serves, very solid and stable. I want to try the new 2023 Pure Aero 100. Please try to get the new Pure Aero and make a video. You have the best racquet reviews.Jean-Pierre, Do you use the SW forehand grip? And do you ever switch to Eastern during play?

    • @team-tennisenglish1514
      @team-tennisenglish1514  Год назад +1

      I made a french review of the pure aero, I don't have time for the english version. Anyway it has less power, less top spin, and I'd say a bit less comfort than the previous one. I switch between eastern and sw grip for my forehand.

    Hi.
    can you recommend hybrid setup for strings.
    i use to play with Pure drive VS strung with RPM, 48pound
    but i got injured lately from extensive playing.
    which was what prompted me to look into a more comfort orientated racket and setup.
    Hope u can recommend some setup that may fit me.

      Hi. Your tension seems fine. You could start with testing a soft mono : Luxilon Element, Luxilon Smart, Wilson Revolve, Head Lynx Touch. Technique has to be checked also, to track any lack of looseness.

  • @wchan2906

    Thanks for sharing your views and experience with Clash V2. It is indeed way more convincing and helpful than other ‘reviews’ on the web. I have ordered the RG limited version (not a big fan of red) and wondering if I should lower the 55 tension (to 50-52lb) of the Alu Power proposed by the shop in light of the your choice and most other reviewers lower tension choice of 48-50 notwithstanding Wilson’s recommended tension range of 50-60 lb. Tks again.

    • @team-tennisenglish1514
      @team-tennisenglish1514  2 года назад

      I lacked control on some powerful shots but overall, no problems. With time, I think it's just the weight and the swingweight that could be too low for me but currently it's fine. I think the react reacts a bit differently on soft and powerful shots, so it can surprise some players indeed. As always, the best is to demo the racquet.
