A bonded foam mattress is made up of scrap polyurethane foam or PUF, which is also called the bonded foam. The PUF scraps or polyurethane foam are bonded together under high pressure to form a hard substance. This substance is further used in the mattress as a base layer, which keeps the mattress in shape in the long run. The top layer can be of PUF or memory foam. The bonded foam mattress can be used on both sides , one being soft and other being hard.
now a days bonded foam is highly use in mattress for hardness and firm support feel.most of spinecare or ortho mattress have rebonded foam as a support layer.
Which mattress is better ?vbonded foam or coir foam or memory foam?
A bonded foam mattress is firmer, durable, washable, light in weight and comfortable. Moreover, it doesn't sag. The bonded foam mattress is cheap and of good quality. It is good from an orthopaedic point of view.
A memory foam mattress is heavy and non-washable. It is soft and sags in the middle. It changes shape in response to heat and pressure. Also, such mattresses can be quite uncomfortable during summers, as they retain body heat. Experts say the mattress should not be used in infants’ beds, as soft bedding traps lead to increased risks of sudden infant death syndrome.
Coir foam mattresses are comparatively hard. They don't take the body shape. These mattresses sag in the middle, which leads to different back problems. If coir foam mattresses come in contact with water, they get damaged.

He charged me Rs 3000 and gave year warranty, so I guess its a low density product.. (2) How do I know its an actual bonded mattress after the delivery. (3) Also I advised him not to use any foam and give bonded mattress directly in the covers. So is it fine to sleep on that directly without a foam?

I am planning to buy Kurl on Spine Therapy mattress as I am having some back pain and neck pain from several months. I am 37 years male and my weight is 120kg. The store keeper said that it has bonded foam and some other foam on top of it and in quilting half inch or one inch (I forgot, mostly it was half inch only) memory foam is there. Do you recommend it? Also, what is your opinion on Spinetech Air mattress by Sleepwell? I found both Kurl-on Spine Therapy and Sleepwell Spinetech Air quite similar.

Spintec air is best due to high dens bonded foam more than 110 density. As per ur weight u need firm mattress it will support ur body enough and support lead to comfort.

While my weight is 83 KG, please advise what type of Bonded foam (Rigid/flexible/re-bonded, etc.) and of what density I should ask my manufacturer to use. Also, will the memory foam instead of a PU foam add extra comfort?

Rigid bonded foam 80 plus density 4 inch plus 1inch HR foam plus 1inch memory (don't use memory more than 1inch)
This combination is for medium soft feel..
Now 2nd 4inch rigid bonded foam 80plus density plus 2inch HR foam.. For medium firm feel..

Brother, thank you so much for the clear explanation. One query: I was planning to buy a mattress. I requested bonded foam. One manufacturer gave me only 1 year guarantee whereas the other manufacturer provides 5-10 years warranty. Is there different quality or grades in bonded foam? Or are all types of Bonded Foam durable?
Durability of bonded foam depending upon density of it. If low density than less warranty. If high density like 90plus than 5-10 years. It's cheap high density firm foam compare to other PU foam. Flexible bonded or resibond and rigid bonded mainly two types.
Density matters
It comes in different density 40 to 100
The more is the density, the more harder is the bonded foam sheet.
Harder Bonded Foam Sheet is recommended for spine wellness.

Admire best he if you want to do yoga.. Use firm side for yoga. Bonded ke upr as per ur need feel u can select foam. Don't use memory if possible. Natural latex or HR best
