Baptism is a physical cleansing of our body from sins!
Thank you Jesus for this wonderful explanation of water baptism. Please Lord Jesus, bless Pastor Jenteze for helping people to understand the very importance of baptism.
We are baptized and made clean in order for the Holy Spirit to dwell within us. So that He may be our Comforter and to change our bodies into a glorified body when you call us home.
What a GLORIOUS plan of salvation.

Without water baptism people are not saved. Very simple.
You are saved before you are baptized. Like the 3rd man on the cross was saved.

@WhteFang I encourage you to compare what this false teaching says with the bible. I prove that people are false by having conversations on Sk*pe. The problem is 99% of people that say I am wrong will not discuss their truth with me. Are you in that 99%?
What is the correct formula for water baptism? Is it Father, Son, and of the Holy Spirit? Or is it in the name of Jesus Christ? I have a relative who is saying that if we don't get baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, we will not enter into the Kingdom Of Heaven? If that's true, can someone give a chapter and verse where it says that if we don't get baptized in Jesus Name, we won't make it into heaven?
I'm not sure, but it only says all three in one verse. Every other one is Jesus alone. Paul says there is only one name under heaven given by which to be saved.
If you had any doubts, I don't think there would be any harm in getting immersed again in the name of Jesus. You could even have a friend do it in a bathtub or pool. Call on the name of the Lord and have your sins washed away, Ananias said (Acts 22).
Everything I've read tells me that the following is the heart of immersion into Jesus.
Jesus forgive me, wash me clean of my sins. I turn from sin, from serving myself to serving you and living with a clean conscience before you, God. I commit to trusting and serving you as Lord. Give me your Holy Spirit and lead me for the rest of my days in the mighty name of Jesus.
I'm going to add one more comment in the main thread with everything I have so far about immersion.

His name is Jesus. The book of acts show us they were all baptized in the name of Jesus Chris for the remission of sins.
