Thank you for this! After being buddhist for her entire life, my new Japanese wife recently became a Christian. It's very hard to find a good Christian church in Japan who will baptize as taught in the Bible. Less than 1% of Japanese are Christian, but she loves Christ with all her heart and I will baptize her tomorrow and bring a new sister into our Christian family.
FYI I’m Christian that’s taking interest , not worshiping, but interested in other religions… And at the end of the day I’m found wondering if it was more a language barrier and human interest that may be the reason for multi religions…. As the Bible says , in the days after the tower of bable , god confused our language … maybe, just maybe all religions are like anything else … Truth lies somewhere in the middle….. love your brother love your neighbor…. Acts 19:1-7 refers to Holy Spirit baptism. Paul the disciples of John the Baptist who were Jews but they did not know there was a Holy Spirit baptism. After John the baptist , the Holy Spirit baptism superseded it. You should not be forcing your specific denominational belief on somebody. Just teach the scripture. What you are teaching is a charismatic teaching and not taught in most churches nor believed in most churches. @Moses hillocks Gal. 2:12. Peter was wrong there too as Paul pointed out. Apostels are not infallible. Look at Judas. If everything the apostles did were correct as you seem to say then it would be ok to sell out the way Judas did. Jesus was and is the only one that is infallible.

The Bible instructs us not to add or take away anything from the Bible so these instructions are relevant and very important. So when you baptize someone, they are to be baptized in the name of “Jesus Christ” or “Lord Jesus”; not simply “in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit”, those are Gods titles. Bad advice as you must call on the name of Jesus in baptism as in Acts 2:38. In Matthew 28:19 Jesus is telling the apostles to baptism in the name of the titles he recites, Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all titles of the one true God and His name is Jesus. The apostles understood this as in the book of Acts all NT Christians were baptized in the name of Jesus.

I wish we could baptize ourselves. Its been very hard to find a church or pastor or really anyone to baptize me. Every single person i have talked to tells me no because I dont belong to their church. Its so hard in these times

You don't baptize correctly when you're saying "Father, Son, Holy Spirit." It's the name of Jesus Christ that we are baptized in. Therefore you're supposed to say, "I baptize you in the name of Jesus Christ" or you can say "Lord Jesus". Do it as it is written in scripture and no other way 🙌🏽. When you do something in someone's name, you say the name. Not the titles. Father, Son, Holy Spirit are titles. Not names. I thank God that I learned the truth of GOD.

You don't mention that baptism is for the forgiveness or sins. You are saved after baptism and added to the Lord's church. (Acts 2:38-47) Sins are washed away when baptized (Acts 22:16).

The hand placement doesn't matter. As it said in the video people usually cross their arms since it is easier for the person baptizing. Similarly people plug their noses so that baptism is easier for them not having the possibility to get a water clogged nose.

Thank you for this! After being buddhist for her entire life, my new Japanese wife recently became a Christian. It's very hard to find a good Christian church in Japan who will baptize as taught in the Bible. Less than 1% of Japanese are Christian, but she loves Christ with all her heart and I will baptize her tomorrow and bring a new sister into our Christian family.

Acts 19:1-7 refers to Holy Spirit baptism. Paul the disciples of John the Baptist who were Jews but they did not know there was a Holy Spirit baptism. After John the baptist , the Holy Spirit baptism superseded it.

When Peter baptized in only the Name of Jesus Christ which was not what Jesus instructed. When the other Apostles came around they discovered that those people did not get the Holy Spirit. So they had to put Him (the Holy Spirit) in them. Its all in acts.

@Moses hillocks Gal. 2:12. Peter was wrong there too as Paul pointed out. Apostels are not infallible. Look at Judas. If everything the apostles did were correct as you seem to say then it would be ok to sell out the way Judas did.

The Bible requires that we undergo 2 types of baptism. One of water (as is what John the baptist did, and one of the Holy Ghost.)
The Bible also tells us to be baptized in the name of the father son and Holy Spirit. However, the name of the father, Son, and Holy Spirit is Jesus Christ, or Lord Jesus. The Bible instructs us not to add or take away anything from the Bible so these instructions are relevant and very important.
So when you baptize someone, they are to be baptized in the name of “Jesus Christ” or “Lord Jesus”; not simply “in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit”, those are Gods titles.

Bad advice as you must call on the name of Jesus in baptism as in Acts 2:38. In Matthew 28:19 Jesus is telling the apostles to baptism in the name of the titles he recites, Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all titles of the one true God and His name is Jesus. The apostles understood this as in the book of Acts all NT Christians were baptized in the name of Jesus.

You don't baptize correctly when you're saying "Father, Son, Holy Spirit." It's the name of Jesus Christ that we are baptized in. Excellent but you left out something. It's customary for the pastor to put his hand over the nose and mouth of the baptizee to keep them from inhaling water. This is important.
Or the baptisee can plug their nose while crossing their arms. I’d feel more comfortable plugging my own nose so water don’t go up. :)

I did some research to understand why you would even think this. And I discovered it’s called “oneness doctrine”: to believe that baptism should only be performed in the name of Jesus Christ. “Trinitarian” performs baptism in the name of God the Father, son, and Holy Spirit.

You don't mention that baptism is for the forgiveness or sins. You are saved after baptism and added to the Lord's church. (Acts 2:38-47) Sins are washed away when baptized (Acts 22:16).
No. You are saved, THEN baptized. Baptism is not salvation. It’s a physical demonstration of a real spiritual reality that has already taken place.

I have a question. I have seen some where they cover the nose. Is this not important?
The hand placement doesn't matter. As it said in the video people usually cross their arms since it is easier for the person baptizing. Similarly people plug their noses so that baptism is easier for them not having the possibility to get a water clogged nose.
He left out the repentance for his sins and his forefathers sins. How else is he going to release the generational curses.

What I’m telling you is that when a person is baptized in the name of Jesus that is the fulfillment of that scripture. That’s why the apostles baptized people that way. There is not one single scripture where anyone was ever baptized any other way that in the name of Jesus. So do you think the apostles weren’t following Jesus’ command of Matthew 28:19? Do you think that they were being blatantly disobedient? Maybe THEY were just ignorant or teaching falsehoods? I mean they were there and heard Matthew 28:19 come right out of Jesus’ mouth right? Why did they not baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost then? When they baptized in the name of Jesus they were baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost because the name of Jesus is the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. There is not 3 persons that’s a false teaching from the Catholic Church that started in 325AD. The first church baptized in the name of Jesus because there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. If your baptism isn’t in the name of Jesus you’re just getting wet.
But there is a question, what if immersion is not possible? There are plenty of reasons that make baptism by immersion impossible.
What if you want to be baptized right away and don't want or can't wait until the next church service? But want to be baptized on the spot.
Should evangelists, then, bring a pool with them when evangelizing and fill it with supermarket water bottles until it is full enough for baptism?

Everyone in Acts was only water baptized in the saving nsme of Jesus, Acts 8:16, Paul rebaptized all of Johns followers in the saving name of Jesus, Acts 19:1-6. The name of the trinity is Jesus. There is only one name under Heaven whereby we can be saved. The devil will decieve you with honey, talking to you sweetly. The false Catholic baptism is not for Salvation or Removal of sins but is to join you to the antichrist church. A baptismal service is really about the whole service - including the candidate giving their testimony and somebody explaining to people what is happening and what it all resembles.
Need also to mention about baptismal candidates with physical impairments - you may need somebody - or a few people - to help the candidate to get in and out of the baptistry.
