I just visited the Melrose Place building last night. I was able to come in and look around. It was much smaller than the one on the show. They made it bigger on tv and added the swimming pool. Still super cool to see the outside. Now I’ve been listening to the MP theme on repeat.

yes 10 minutes! I drive to work with this, listen in the shower, if i go for a walk i have it on a tape that i just flip when its done so this really helps. My cousins aunt had ear problems and the dr wont prescribe meds to her dog anymore because the mailman hasnt brought my check from last month that the lady at the city said i would have before Christmas but guess what? My car broke down and now I have to get a ride to the farmacy from my neighbor who used to send sex pictures to my x-bridge partner before she moved in with her niece out of state. Now i am alone and only have this.

holy cow... it's insanely similar. like, i just listened to Hungry Like the Wolf extended 12" track and that chorus which also dips down to C major from an E tonal center .... that .... gave me... goosebumps! the entire song is trackable over the other with the right splicing materials. So I have compiled a playlist of each song that I think is a strong contender for which fights for the spotlight in the overlay moment- it becomes a showdown. The C-major overlays are hysterical, but the Corrs "Breathless" actually made me tear up, leaving me....breathless? I can't give all my secrets away though. f***ng Hall and Oates explicitly said that is NOT on the table...(huge hint, giving away most of the secret I guess). the funniest by far though has been trying to sing and make sound good "So I Guess that's why They Call it The Blues" over melrose place in the correct rhythm and confidence. Had he added lyrics and released it as a music single it might have been a big hit on the music charts in the 1990s. It had big hit written all over it. The 1990s had some cracking theme tunes to tv shows. The music themes were better than the pop singles coming out in the music charts in the 1990s. The musicians who did the themes for the 1990s tv shows had more talent than the established music bands and singers of the 1990s as this theme tune proves.
Supposedly David Lee Roth was asked to write the Theme song. He wrote "Just Like Paradise". And then told by the producers they were going to pass on his song. And then the Theme song they had written was a rip off of David Lee Roth's song in my opinion. Just more Keyboard parts instead of guitar.
It sounds like a demo from Black Box, Right on time, it is similar but different. Right on time was released earlier, I guess it was just the beat of the times.

Actually this is only the building used for the exterior shots. The interior with the pool is located in Santa Clarita.
