Made a silly animation of my Splatoon idols Kelp (blue) and Coral (purple) :D they form the duo Night Market.
This is meant to be like a fictional in-universe music video they made based on the "bad ending" cut scene of Return of the Mammalians in Splatoon 3 hero mode :0 (and inspired by the Let's Go music video)

There’s such a horror to this as well because they wouldn’t be able to go back and just have to slowly run out of oxygen, spending their last moments together as they watch their world be ravaged

I was not expecting that, and I never thought Mr.Grizz's laugh could get any scarier...
you absolutely nailed the uncomfortable feeling of a single color being almost oppressive, it gives off the feeling of "the world just ended" perfectly.
This animation perfectly captures my exact thoughts on what if a pair of inklings, and/or octolings went to the moon right when the bad ending for Splatoon 3’s story mode happened, and see the result of their planet being turned into a giant space fuzzball!
It’s just as unsettling as how I imagined it!

The original music video always hits so hard for me. This was a great interpretation of the game's bad ending! The fact that someone had the idea to combine one of my favorite music videos with one of my favorite game franchises makes me really happy :)

This is the second time I see this and I just noticed that in one moment we can actually see the battle against mr grizz at the rocket on other side of earth, nice detail.

Good work Mr. Grizz! The planet is ours once more! But....the Inklings and Octolings have fallen alongside all not mammalian lifeforms so.....Koral and Kelp have two options, stay in the moon and slowly run out of oxygen or.....try to return to the earth and surrender to the furries.

AGENT 3 YOU HAD ONE JOB
The last 4 (the characters in his animation and octavio and neo agent 3) in their entire existence see their people turn into mammals and the world fall into ruin. The story of splatoon has very dark themes, an example of which is the bad ending of octo expansion where the population is extinguished, in this case killed by the tatar. Grizz's caused the extinction of marine life where the inklings and octolings ended up turning into mammals and losing their abilities.
God the mr grizz laugh gives me chills here, lovely

okok this would be a cool DLC where you have to survive in outer space like a recourse management game mixed with the octo-expansion level system. and the final boss would be a salmon run type thing but with the fur inklings. and in the end it was just a simulation on marina computer. its kinda cheesy but it would be fun i think

Olay so I keep coming back to this and its for 2 reasons.
One its really awesome and very well animated, and two i love how there is no dialogue and yet you can hear what they would be saying with their expressions alone like fear, shock, horror and overall dread at seeing the earh covered in the fuzzy ooze and them being helpless in stopping it, really great work and honestly a mini masterpiece imo 😎👍
i love the original song and animation and you did a great job at replicating the expression and the actual look of fear and despair of the astronaut
