    I’ve found that if I use stitch markers ....every 10 stitches / row & every 10 rows, that I can keep track of my count plus correcting errors sooner. Thanks for your video tutorials.....I’m enjoying them.

    This is so pretty! Thanks for a good tutorial. I will be making this soon! Do you need to wear a camisole with it or is it not see-through?

    • @YayForYarn
      @YayForYarn  5 лет назад +3

      Thanks, Terri! I prefer to wear it over a camisole, as the stitch pattern is a little lacy and a bit see-through. Hope this helps!

      @@YayForYarn Thanks much! I was thinking I'd need a camisole underneath. It's so pretty for a summer lacy tee. Am anxious to make it. 😊

    I have a question, it says 905 yards for a L. I have made long sleeve thick cardigans using 900-1,000 yards of yarn. That seems like a lit for a t shirt. I don’t mind cause it’s really cute, I just wanted to double check!! Thanks for all the great patterns you’ve given us!!

    • @YayForYarn
      @YayForYarn  3 года назад +1

      Hi! Yes, that is the approximate amount of yarn required in the pattern. The yarn I used is more lightweight, so may require more yardage per square foot of fabric than a thick cardigan. I hope this helps!

    Great! I like your videos very much. Your instructions are good to understand. Is the yarn you used cotton or acrylic? The color is beutiful. I will try to crochet this top too. Thank you! ☺🌻🌼🌻

      Hi Corinna! The yarn I used is Lion Brand ZZ Twist, which is a smooth, pliable acrylic yarn. Hope this helps!

    I really like this top, however, I'm not a fan of the neckline. Is it possible to make this into a vee neck? If so, how should I do this. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you very much .

    • @YayForYarn
      @YayForYarn  5 лет назад +2

      Hi Sandra! You could make it into a v-neck if you feel comfortable altering the pattern. Once you get to the point where you want the lowest part of the v-neck to be, then you will begin only working across half of the piece, decreasing up the neck edge until you get to the correct length, and until the side you are working on is about the width of the shoulder seam. You would then tie off, and join yarn again to work a mirror image of that section onto the remaining half of the front. I hope this helps!

    Love this pattern and anxious to get started. When the pattern say’s, “ in stitch pattern” mean when trying to get gauge? In this pattern which stitch are they referring to?

    • @YayForYarn
      @YayForYarn  5 лет назад +2

      Hi Lynne! The gauge is measured in the stitch pattern that the tee is worked in. So, when you check your gauge, you make the gauge swatch in the same stitch pattern, and then measure the gauge for accuracy. Hope this helps!

    The ZZ yarn you used has been discontinued ... what do you recommend for a really good replacement? Beautiful pattern!

    • @YayForYarn
      @YayForYarn  3 года назад

      Hi. Technically, you can use any yarn that is marked #4 Medium Weight. The main factor affecting the yarn you choose will likely be whether you want to wear it in warm weather or not. Here is my guide to choosing yarns for summer garments: yayforyarn.com/best-yarns-summer-garments/ I think Knit Picks Comfy Worsted or Shine Worsted would work well. I hope this helps!

      I used a US Size I / 5.5 mm Crochet Hook, but you should use whatever size hook gets you the correct gauge for the pattern. I hope this helps!
