Sharp looking build. Personally, I don't apply cement on top of glue, it can remove paint. And using metal instruments on decals scares me!
Looks great! Use something other than a screwdriver to position decals, like a toothpick.

Is this the one with the fantastic pilot figure? I always prefer my aircraft with crew figures and wheels up. You cannot have a dogfight without a pilot and the wheels down.
The pilot is not included in this kit. You will need to bring it from another kit.
+@@zensmodelingstudio5034 The earlier Hasegawa George's had the most detailed Japanese Naval pilots that I can recall. Folded fur goggles, gloves boots. Now I have to order pilots from Tamiya or dig up Monogram pilots from 1964 that are still fantastic in today,s kits. Just have to paint right colors.
Nice model, but it's a shame you didn't t take the time to weather the model.

Thanks for the comment. It was a long time ago, so I don't really remember, but I think it took me about two weeks to finish it, working 0.5-1 hour a day (I also spent a lot of time looking for actual photos as reference sources).
Surely you need to go against the panel lines to keep the wash in the panel lines,not with them,awesome build,thank you.
DO YOU USE the surface before paint the cockpit
I remember that I didn't use the surfacer because it seemed to paint without any problem.
@@zensmodelingstudio5034 I heard many people say it is necessary to primer it because the main paint will stick better , but when i see you , i think i don't need to do that
