The best thing I love about this case is the pencil holder, as a student now I don't care of losing my pencil anymore. Also, I bought the one with the trackpad, it's just perfect, nothing else to say. Thank you for your video
Hey there. Thanks for the genuine and honest review. I wanted to know if this case was good for watching stuff on bed. You pretty much provided the answer I was searching for, mainly with the "extra" viewing angles. Thanks again for taking the time and the effort put in this helpful video. Cheers!
I like the sound check you did. I think it honestly sounded better in the case. Sometimes I drop my iPhone into a empty Pringles can to make it seem a little louder. I accidentally dropped my phone into a empty Pringles can a few years ago with my iPhone 8 and it made it much louder. I wonder if having the tablet and the case has the same affect? I know I get a little more bass effect like that.
Thank you for the informative video. The feel of the keys is good. Unfortunately, the "bluetooth" claim is deceptive. Unless the case is connecting either ridge, keyboard is disconnected. Not for me I'm afraid.
Very nice video, Ashley. Can you tell me if between function keys there is one for taking a screenshoot? This is something I use so often and I have seen on other keyboards. Let me know, please.
I have this case, and my only gripe is that one of the corners of the case slightly doesn’t properly fit. It’s not a deal breaker but it does bother me sometimes. Overall great case though.
So, I saw one review comparing the tracking response as compared to the Apple Magic. The particular review I saw said that Zagg was jerky and would over scroll. What are your thoughts on the track pad? Any issues with the keyboard losing connection?
The Pencil side is gummy because the 2nd gen Pencil needs to physically connect to the iPad in order to pair but also to charge. That by itself is a no-no for me as far as the case is concerned. I can’t have the Pencil charging under the hood and can’t be bothered with sliding the Pencil in such an uncomfortable manner and out of the gummy part of the case… Glad I saw the vid actually, thanks for posting.
Hey there! Thanks for the review, I’m planning on getting this hopefully soon. I apologize if you’ve answered this elsewhere already, but how does this stand do while typing with it on your lap? I find myself constantly needing to type without having a desk available, so my only choice is my lap. Most folding cases tend to collapse in these situations
Thank you so much for your really detailed reviewing video! Like BEM said, it’s exactly what i wanted to know! I have a question, are you able to stand the ipad as vertically?
@@ashleympg oh appreciate for your reply :) I just found out that zagg pro keys for ipad pro 4 gen case is not able to get in NZ.. .. Anyway! Appreciate that :)
Thank you so much for this video! I think this case will be the best option for me, as I’m very clumsy and I like to type while having it on my lap. Looked into the Logitech Combo, but that will be too big. I have a question though: is it possible to connect a Bluetooth mouse or trackpad at the same time? If I want to use it at a desk, that would be handy. Hope to hear from you (or anyone who’s able to answer this ofc). Greetings from The Netherlands EDIT: I bought this case today and I love it. Fits on my lap perfectly and stays in its position. No problems with typing whatsoever. I ordered The Apple Pencil 2 and curious to find out whether it’ll charge correctly (it should, but I saw a comment of someone who has an issue with it). So it seems I made the right decision. Thanks again!
I'm considering buying one but can you tell me if the magnets are very strong when holding the iPad in place? I'm curious if they ever lose magnet strength at times. thanks

@@ashleympg honestly I got it off of Amazon next to the Logitech Combo. I was fully expecting to hate it and just keep the Combo, which honestly had a slightly nicer finish, smart connector and cleaner look. But other than that I feel like the Zagg is superior on every aspect. I expect it to hold up much better than the Combo would.
Have you thought about looking into logitech combo. You can take the keyboard off too and instead of having to charge keyboard itself its a Smart Keyboard using the pins in the back. And when its detach the case on ipad has a kickstand that can change to may positions. You might like it a bit more. I like going from typing to drawing with just a quick remove of the keyboard to studio for drawing or watching video and playing controller games
Thank you, very informative. I was originally hesitant about the speakers being covered. Thank you again!!!!
Thank you for reviewing this keyboard case. It’s exactly what I was looking for.
I’m so glad! Thank you for watching 😊

I have this and it is awesome. Love the touch of the keys and the responsiveness. Thanks for the review.

I do like the satisfying tactile clicking feel of the keyboard. I don’t know how long the battery stays charged for. I just starting using it.
thank you, very nice video
I had to cut the apple pencil holder slot out as the pencil wouldn’t charge with the existing plastic. Now it works perfectly but looks crappy.

Thank you for both of your reviews on this keyboard/case. Can you tell me if the pencil charges with the case on?
Thank you for watching the reviews. I really appreciate it! The pencil will charge with the case.

There is no trackpad.

Thanks so much for the positive feedback! No, the stand won't position the iPad vertically.

I think this keyboard is better than the Apple Magic Keyboard 👌

What was your experience with charging the keyboard - do you have to charge it often/how long does one charge last?
Will this fit the new 13 inch iPad Pro??
Hello, how do we charge the keyboard
Is this a good keyboard for typing on your lap?
How does the keyboard connect? Do you have to hit a button or does it auto connect when placed in one of the grooves?
I'm considering buying one but can you tell me if the magnets are very strong when holding the iPad in place? I'm curious if they ever lose magnet strength at times. thanks
Thanks so much for watching the video. The integrity of the magnets is very strong. With normal use, you shouldn't have any issues.
thank you so much it helps and I bought one! I can't wait to start using it!
@@martyjones328 Awesome :) Enjoy!
Thanks for the great info! Any changes a year later? I have one of these in my cart at Best Buy :)
Still going strong! Thank you so much for watching. I hope you enjoy the case if you decide to go with it :)

How can I turn on the lights?
Press the "fn" key and the light symbol key (looks like a rising sun)
Thank you so much one month later and your comment helped someone in need of this advice! LOL
I feel like people are
sleeping on this case
I think so too. It checks most of the boxes for me. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment!
