One main problem with this keyboard is that the moment the keyboard is detached from the case, the Bluetooth connection is disconnected. I bought this thinking I can use a stand to bring the height up and use the keyboard, without connecting magnetically. That way there is less stress on the neck. But it disconnects. So the only way to use the keyboard is by attaching it to the case magnetically. It is Bluetooth 5.0 technology, it is meant to work from a distance!

I bought one. And it's mostly okay. I don't care the weak backlighting (even at the brightest setting) and the key shape is a bit weird, but generally speaking...it's a good Bluetooth keyboard case. I prefer the Logitech Combo Touch, however, which has the Smart Connector pairing that is easy/seamless and doesn't require me to charge the keyboard separately. The Logitech also has better backlighting, stronger magnets and a better laid out keyboard that makes typing faster and more accurate. It costs more, but the Logitech is worth it.
Great review. Bought one a couple wks ago. Pretty happy with it. I don’t use trackpads so this is perfect for me compared to the Logitech. I didn’t get a charge cord in mine either - but I sure have enough cords laying around. Keep up the good work - enjoy your reviews!

Great review. I got and charging cord with mine. Also, I heard you can use a blue tooth mouse with the keypad if you want. I have an Ipad 8th Gen.

I just got this keyboard. I am very surprised no one mention that there is no display brightness keys on the function keys row. I would rather have had that than back and forth skip keys for media. Play/pause and brightness keys would have been a much better option I think.

The two cases I bought (Air 4, Base v7/8) both did not come with the charger cable. Otherwise they are really good cases for the money. I wish the strap was a little more um...magnetic but that might exceed the amount the iPad can deal with.

Hey I can’t get the Bluetooth turn on? How long do you need to charge the keyboard before it finally decides to work.
Zagg website says 1 year on the battery. "inside the box" says keyboard and quick start guide. I guess they figure with 1 year of charging you don't need a charger from them
I love you can just take it off the back so if you want to lay it down to use the pencil for drawing it's way simpler than just to force it out

Looks like the case redirects the speakers to the front which would make the sound better

Im eyeing on this. The Logitech trackpad isnt that smooth compared to pricy Magic keyboard. I think Logitech had BUGS on it. Id rather use screen gestures than using a lousy trackpad. Magic Keyboard’s trackpas is perrfect

It does, just got it for my iPad Pro w tempered glass. I got it from Amazon next to the Logitech Combo Touch, and honestly it just feels like it’s going to hold up better than the Logitech, feels just as good if not better imo.

Thanks for a review of that keyboard. Bought it a week ago and today I just started to using with Paiges App then there is a big issue! The space key isn’t working as a space between the words when I’m typing but works as a Tab key for jumping from one icon to the other on the screen. Hope that could be fixed. Anyone know how to change it if possible? The Zagg support isn’t working after 2.00 ET

@@thienhunk pretty sure it’s just a faulty keyboard. They need to file a claim, zagg will send them a brand new one and just ship the defective one back.
