Four years have passed since 4Story's significant return was first announced: 4Story Origin. Let's discuss the projects that Zemi Interactive has been working on and whether or not our biggest dream will ever be realized. Will 4Story Origin even be released in 2024?

Played 4story for 10+ it was the best game i ever played, i was born warrior never won a Rumapark always wished, i missed the leveling, the docs, and everything all my friends guilds all lost, at one point I've becamed an archer the best of my server dodging every flash e stuns ez wity my 9 of ping i miss everyone of you guys, god bless you all you guys gived me the best childhood possible i will never forget you guys

Would be so great to have an official server with the old P2W 4Story. This game had something nice and formed my childhood.
Guess i will play on 4classics private server for much longer...
4story does not deserve a community like you. As young players outside US who could not convince our parents to buy WoW through e-commerce, we enjoyed 4story. However I replayed a 4story private server not too long ago just for nostalgia. To be honest i can clearly see the game is just 2000s cash grab korean MMORPG. There were no free WoW alternative so they took their shot in an empty market. Since there are no competitors they succeed to become a bit popular. Solid early game but becomes irrationally grindy, unbalanced and surreal/weird after around level 25-30, because they didnt put any effort beyond that. Its common in Korean MMORPGs, creators dont expect the players to go that far so they dont really put any effort in balancing late game. For those who does they just add p2w stuff to make it possible to progress. And if it succeeds to hold some player base who progressed and willing to pay, they create some low effort content for them until the game dies around 2012-2013. The creators were never in intention to create quality, it was cash grab from day one. What amazed me is that a community such as you exist just for a god forsaken game that should've died.

@@pedro-t2t7x yep, another characteristic of cash grab Korean MMOs is sometimes they make soundtrack surprisingly good. Was it as good as mainstream games though? No, not that much. Not even comparable to WoW's soundtrack for example.

Это наверное первая игра в моей жизни - когда я наплевал на графику, потому что сам геймплей и прокачка + бои между игроками на локациях были очень динамичные и масштабные. Играл прямо на самом старте этой игры, когда не было маунтов, все стартовали в своих деревнях, всё было красиво и концептуально.
Но увы помню как сейчас что примерно после 30 уровня качаться было просто невозможно без доната, тебя убивал любой монстр твоего уровня , донат был удушающий. Помню как мне нравилось кидать АОЕ скиллы в замесах, даже если они ничего не наносили потому что я был слабый), но я чувствовал себя частичкой этой войны ) Это наверное единственная игра, где АОЕ скиллы показаны как что то масштабное и это захватывало дух.
Потом игра испортилась, пошли странные обновления, светящиеся вещи, не концептуальные сэты которые выглядели как новогодняя ёлка из всех цветов, стартовые персонажи начинали все в одном месте каком то не понятном - в общем всё пошло не туда, и я забросил игру.
Начало действительно было очень впечатляющим , но неправильные обновления и безумный донат убили игру ОЧЕНЬ быстро, буквально за год-полтора, онлайн скатывался на моих глазах супер-быстро. В итоге после моего ухода через год игру закрыли в России.
Было дело, я вроде бы тоже почти на старте залетел туда по совету друга, но уже смутно помню. По-моему там вообще с 30 лвл отсутствовали квесты и прокачка до капа осуществлялась тупым заливанием мобов аоешкой в паре локаций и это было просто пыткой над разумом здорового человека (под донатным зельем на эксп кач был чуть быстрее). Но игра тем не менее нравилась, было фаново, пвп было простенькое, но веселое. А в осаде замков все как стадо баранов аоешили друг друга с дикими лагами 😂 Ещё по началу оружие +22-24 на сервере было диковинкой, и супер редкие заточки бижутерии, а так все ходили дай бог заточка +9, ну это на старте игры. Нравилось там в локациях искать всякие баги, проходы под текстуры. Надо ещё отметить что на форуме игры было отдельно весело. Короче славные были времена эхх. А потом забросил игру как и вы, до момента когда там уже добавили новые локации, какой-то глобальный апдейт сделали с новым стартовым экраном, а потом и вовсе закрыли. Между прочим надонатил туда со школьных обедов много 😁 До сих пор с теплотой вспоминаю как игру так и некоторых людей оттуда.

Man i was playing 24hrs a day every day on papaya. Never found anything close to 4story to play. Legit best game i ever touched. With less paytowin and more community ideas this game would be totally fine. But nope just ripped all the hours we put into the game for nothing. Its so sad to see. Had so many good friends and guild members, so sad to see it all breaking apart for a 2nd time / 3rd time ...

Even though im a bit sad that 4s Origin probably won't ever come out ( even if it did; will probably be bad anyway ) Maybe it's for the better ... Maybe the game should just die and be forgotten.
We have our good memories on it and maybe it's enough..

When will the gameforge contract end with Zemi? as per my records, gameforge requested patch a few times from zemi but zemi did not respond positively to this. So as ı think, when the gameforge contract end with zemi, gameforge will not renew the contract. And then zemi will close to 4story as completely.

Even IF it ever releases, there is no reason anymore to trust ZEMI. Do not forget that they were the deciding factor for the game's destruction.
4S' PvP was ahead of its time and is still unique, but the rest of the game was mediocre at best and fell off quickly due lack of maintenance/modernization.
Congrats for the little insight you got from the studio. Wish Gameforge would do the same, since ZEMI will not say anything :P
If Zemi communicated honestly with the community and were honest about how 4Story is doing, people would also support such things like fundraising campaigns. But so far we're just being taken for fools and taken for a ride. 100% untrustworthy
I think if gameforge would care and make a new server without gor. it would get a new hype

@@QuincyMVP Zemi is legally not allowed to sell it, even if they wanted to, at least as long as the contract is active between Zemi and Gameforge, in addition to that, I know from a secret source (me) that they're making pretty good money with the official servers, even if they could they wouldn't accept offers below 500k$
