Some reasons why people play on the official server:
1. Guild, people, intimate atmosphere
2. Attachment to accounts for years
3. Knowledge and possession of almost everything, in private it is the opposite. No time for news
4. Stability, immutability
I also thought about the first two points, but the other are new for me. Yea, that's pretty sure also a reason. But I like the gameplay and new content on 4Vision way more than that :x
I've been playing the official game since 2009 (with big breaks obviously, I played 2009-2011, 2015-2017, 2020-2022, 2023-present) and I'm neither retired nor have I invested colossal amounts of money into the game. I don't have full + 28 items but I'm close. Weapon +27 and armor +26. I don't play with medals. All the money invested in the game went into cosmetics (costumes, pets, mounts) The items are made by me with a little help from friends. (God only knows how many hours of farm I have in Marduk and in mentorships). Not all servers are as empty as the one presented by you. On RO, for example, we have PVP at all TW and CW, we also have it at certain times at ZW and occasionally in the evening in Ardir. All this time I also tried private servers. The only one that really got me and I spent some time on was Legacy. I don't like Vision for several reasons: 1)Toxic community, generally very bad people.( I spent a good few hours asking for help to finish the last mission to get lvl 90. I played Valo and everyone who came when I asked help were Derions to pvp me. I tried the PVP modes. Although I explained that I'm coming from the official and that it's my first time playing these modes, I still got a huge hate and heard lines like " never enter again, go back to official, play minecraft, play mario.)
2) I don't like this system where any class can kill any class in 3 seconds without problems, Because it makes the game much more individualistic and the focus is no longer on teamwork and how well you can manage the various complicated situations , but as fast as you are, you press a button and you made a kill in 3 seconds.
3) PVE. It's an important aspect in all MMORPGs, although the vast majority of Vision players don't care about PVE and buy Arahur chests with real money from others (I've sold many chests on Vision this way too) PVE Options that the game gives you are good at first especially if you just started, but then they become boring and tiring. The game needs improvement on this side as well.
Other private servers I have tried are Ancient, Classic, p4 and Hell. I don't like Ancient and Classic because I hate the old movement animations and can't get used to them. I recently tried p4. There are fewer players than the official so I didn't enter again. Hell was something between Vision and Legacy, I didn't like it. Now the server is empty but not closed. If there will be more private servers in the future or if considerable changes will be made to the existing ones I will try them. Until then I'll stick to playing the official with my friends while it's still fun.

Yea true, there are some issues..
To your point 1): yes, there are some degenerative players. They could be more respectfull to new players.. but 4Story community always was like that :x on 4Vision maybe a little bit more cuz here are more "pro" players and they think they can write stuff like that.
To 2): I don't share this view.. you can't kill everyone in 3 seconds. It very depends if the enemie has full buffs (priest buffs and deff potion) or not. And in my opionion its more about teamplay as on offi.. for example the mode "Battle Royal" is so crazy insane fast pace and high skill that every teammate has to perform in 3vs3 fights.
To 3): True, but every servers struggle with that I guess. It everytime boring and tiring on everyone server.
And to your last sentence: YES! Everyone should play this server/games that he wants. At the end its about having fun and everyone tastes is different

Nice! Was playing the official in '11-'14 with some skill, left for obvious reasons, and now I'm amazed to see this game still alive after so many years, both official and private servers.
Btw I heard of 4classic to be the second very healthy private server, but with an old school vibe. Tried it?
I was always amazed when I started to play 4Story again. Especially the private servers did really nice jobs and developed 4Story further.. that was insance for me at the beginning.

but 4 vision and 4 classic are the 2 elite servers

So ein paar Punkte hast du wohl vergessen.. Für jeden der nur bisschen PVP machen will ist 4Vision absolut das flasche! Als Mage brauchst du min 23er eq und full pets! Jeder der das Gegenteil behauptet lügt sich selbst an! Habe 22er 4* eq und bin 3 hit trotz Buffs und Deffis! 2Hits ohne^^ (habe screens davon) Farmen für EQ komplett sinnlos da es ewig dauern würde sich sowas zu erfarmen! Von den 38er Waffen mal abgesehen, die kann man sich ohnehin nie leisten! Außer man casht schön rein :)
Beispiel: 24 36 5* Rute 15k, 5x 23 36 4* EQ ca 3,5k.= 18500g
Mondkristall 45s pro
Arkane 40s Pro
Arahur Kiste 90s Pro
Ardir Kiste 250s Pro
Kann man sich ja denken wie lange man da farmen müsste. Noch dazu kann man das ganze ohne Travelling Salesman vergessen. sind nochmal + 70g ca.
Die Pvp Modis sind ganz nett, das geflame der ganzen tryhards nervt und ohne eq bringts halt auch eher wenig.
Zum Offi: Warum noch Leute spielen? aus dem selben Grund warum niemand von s3 auf s2 wechselt, ercashte Ehre, Rate und Kampfstufe! Will halt niemand aufgeben.
Du hast mit vielen Dingen recht und dein Video war sehr gut! Jedoch sollte man nicht nur das positive von 4Vision nennen. Korrigier mich falls ich mich irgendwo irre! Lg
Kommt drauf an was man will. Wenn man schenlles Gameplay mag, ist 4Vision mit Abstand der beste Server. Wenn man eher causual Player ist, dann reicht wohl auch der offizielle Server.
Habe btw lange Zeit "nur" mit 22er EQ gespielt auf Mage, das ist schon machbar. Die ganzen Szenen zum Beispiel sind mit 22 EQ und +24 Waffe erspielt. Aber klar ist full 23 EQ nochmal deutlich einfacher dann im PvP.
Klar, Farmen dauert etwas, aber es ist trotzdem gut gelöst finde ich. Sicherlich könnte man es noch besser gestalten. Wenn ich es mit dem Offi vergleiche, ist es um Welten besser.. auf dem Offi brauchste gar nicht anfangen zu farmen (wüsste auch nicht wie um ehrlich zu sein xD).
Salty und toxische Spieler nerven schon, haste recht. Ist auch ein kleines Problem dort. Aber sowas gabs schon immer in 4Story :x (auch in allen anderen Games). Und stimmt: wenn man kein EQ hat, machen die meisten PvP Modis wenig Sinn (BG bspw. jedoch schon, da zählen ja nur Steine und die Bonis vom EQ, finde das ganz cool).
True, man will halt nicht alles aufgeben :x aber ich tu mich schwer vorzustellen, dass die meisten noch wirklich Spaß an dem Spiel haben (also offi Server).. und das ist eigentlich auch der Punkt wieso ich überhaupt spiele. Soll ja am Ende Spaß machen.
Aber um ehrlich zu sein, fallen mir nich viele negative Punkte zu 4Vision ein. Klar es gibt ein paar (bspw. Castle War oder Kommunikation mit der Community), aber so viele sind es meiner Meinung nach nicht. Aber ist halt auch Geschmackssache :P jeder hat andere Vorstellungen.

Farmen am Offi bringt garnix xD Jedoch muss ich sagen auf 4Vision gefühlt auch nicht. Vielleicht dauert es mir persönlich einfach zu lange xD
Mit BG muss ich dir auch recht geben, leider nicht mein favorite Mode..
Spaß kann der Offi schon machen wenn man mit seinen Leuten spielt. Leider passiert halt außerhalb von BG, BOW und GE eher wenig.. vlt ab&zu mal ein Missikrieg der nicht komplett einseitig ist. Sonst wird nur Keter oder Markut gedefft haha

Official servers are bad af, not denying that, but I wouldnt describe 4Vision as "almost perfect". First of all it feels like a completely different game. The mechanics, faster gameplay, a lot of things reworked, changed or completely deleted. Mission war is horrible IMO, just so many players in one place. A mage without a personal priest is absolutely useless there. The differences in EQ suck too, archers sometimes just delete you in a sec, not having to do anything else than using their macro. It is a good server with a lot of great stuff but it still feels weird playing there. But still better than playing with 10-20 fps against cashers, thats true.
Everyone has another preference. I like the fast gameplay and also Mission War. True, its not that easy on mage in this mode, but if you know how to play or have a personal priest, it makes fun. Difference in eq doesnt matter that much in my opinion. Of course it's a bit easier with better EQ, but its not like on the official servers.. there you really feel the EQ difference :x

In the official one you use macro or mount to attack and ban, that's what makes it nice... in the vision full macro and it's not fun at all

Was denkst wie lange dauert es in 4Vision auf Max. Level und wie lange brauch man um vernünftiges EQ zu bekoommen?
ah sry für die späte antwort: Max level in 3-4 stunden (mit gruppe noch schneller) und vernünfitges EQ (waffe +23 und rest +22) maybe 1 monat (kommt natürlich drauf an wieviel zeit man hat zum farmen, umso mehr desto schneller hat man es dann)

@@Reports-tw6ld Leveln geht direkt über die Quests (dauert alleine 3-5h), Eq bekommst du über die Quest nach und nach. Ja haben eine Gilde, aber die ist nicht aktiv
