Ty is there a P.O.Box? I’m a gr gramma & don’t put any cards on line I’ve been taken to the cleaners more than once... I’d like to support you & the fun I see you are having your preview antics are hilarious, where have you been all this time? Btw my mama loved The Bee Gees too, life was so different then. We all danced together there was no color where I lived. We came together w/Isley Brothers I saw in concert outstanding! Seattle, Little Stevie Wonder, my favorites was Jimi Hendrix, saw the Young Rascals, George Benson, Chicago& Bad Company, there’s possibly more I’ve forgotten, but Ty there was so much talent in our world back then, I married a jazz sax man..... & I was @ all the Mohammad Ali close circuit fights & I luv re watching but nothing is as good as watching in real time.... 🤍🤍🤍🤍
CAME BACK TO WATCH THIS ONE LAST TIME BEFORE I LEAVE YOUR CHANNEL. I JUST CANT TAKE THE POLITICAL STUFF, SORRY, BUT THIS REACTION VIDEO WAS MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME AND I THANK YOU
How do I request ??
You're a good man Ty for honoring her request for her mama...🙏
See we boomers had the best music ever
That's exactly what I tell all youngsters nowadays. They sure missed it!😂🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎
There's no harmony like sibling harmony-beautiful
Watching in 2024. This is just one of about 100 of my favorite BeeGees songs! Nice reaction❤
Here in November 2024!!! Can’t get enough…….
Same here!!! 2024 bout to turn into 2025!!! 🤪
Barry Gibb and his younger bro Andy Gibb - two of the most beautiful men to grace the earth. There, I said it.
🤣🥰🤣
Agree!!!
I'm 72 and still love the BeeGees. I'm Not dead yet!
Bee Gees never got their dues, they were magnificent
Are you serious? They are universally respected as one of the best groups of the 20th Century~~~!
LMAO!! You must be young because I remember when these guys were megastars, they highly respected and got mega respect.
@@beeharbour that may be all true, however, after the Disco era the United States radio would not play a Bee Gees song. They had BG free airtime. Those millions of sales you reference, just think what they would be if they hadn't been overlooked and mistreated by American radio. It was a shame a huge shame. It left us without some of the most fantastic music and it really kept the boys from additional gold and platinum and everything else. They deserve everything they have gotten and more. Love the Bee Gees.
Julie Blake I think they did. I loved this group.
@@patriciadavis5939 I think the Bee Gees got a lot of awards and accolades. However because of the way they were treated by the American radio stations, by not playing the Bee Gees songs, a lot of good songs after disco was ignored by the American radio. So many more songs would have been number one in America and also have gotten gold/platinum records. Even today on the goldie oldie stations you don't hear the Bee Gees played.
However I think the greatest award or acknowledgement that they have is the love of all the fans for the Bee Gees as a whole and the individual Brothers.
Quincy Jones declared the Bee Gees the best harmonies he has ever heard.
I'm a black man who always love the calaberation of each classic. " To much heaven", is among the top hits for me. It's a head-rocker.
3 brothers harmony ,4 if you count Barrry's high voice
If as they say, "imitation is the sincerest form of praise", then these Philippines kids VERY sincerely praise 'Too Much Heaven' and the Bee Gees: ruclips.net/video/htxVRTkjqDI/видео.html

What's your race got to do with anything?
Good English born brothers magical singers
Amazing...three guys singing a beautiful love song without saying "bit**es", "f*ck" or WAP once! No auto-tune either.
Toothl3ss: 👏👏👏
yeah....managed to watch them live at Saratoga Performing Arts Centre in 1989.
3 Brothers
Yes yes yes
Yep, that's them. Real orchestra, real singers, no tweaking, no auto tune, pitch correcting fake stuff. Beautiful harmony, 3 brother's. Extraordinary!
There will never be a group like The Bee Gees again
My Top Picks I sooo hear you...who in this genre can begin to compare...❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦
@@paulinechapman9319 You can't, just glad we had a chance to experience a group like the Bee Gees
Yes thanks to England
Best harmonizing bands ever. Boys 2 men N'SYNC, etc.
NEVER!
They were amazing - and no autotune needed for these guys!
Pure unadulterated talent
No autotune, but the REALLY tight jeans were required to hit those notes.
That is just too much damn talent for one family...
That’s funny you said that. Their mom wanted to still sing and their dad said. No... one singer in a family is enough. 4 out 5 of their children set records in the music world.
The Jackson family says hello
Plus Andy Gibb
So do the Winter brothers.
Seriously !!
no auto-tune or computer tweaks in those days.... 100% pure talent.
MY MAN, I am a white dude. I grew up on MOTOWN music. There is nothing like the Temptations or the Supremes. This was the best music ever! It doesn't matter what race a person is. When these groups come on the radio, it takes us back to a wonderful ere in music!
Michigander here , now South Carolina. Yes , nothing like Motown……
If angels did harmonies it would sound like this. The masters.
Of course Angel's do harmonies. 😉
TE PLEASE DONT BRING COLOR INTO THIS SONG ,, And the singer in the middle is BARRY GIB
You Got That Right! There Voices are of God's Gift! And they blessed us for Decades!
dude looks like Jesus Christ
@Lyn Ingle oh thanks.
Was he gay btw?
You know the reaction is 100% real when dude starts scratching the back of his head during the killer parts of the song.
It took 5 seconds into the vocals for him to start smiling and then the scratching! lol! You could tell he didnt think he was going to like it!
LOL!!!
4 head scratches must be good!! LOL
Believe it or not, back in their prime they sounded just like that live too. They were that amazing.
oh yeah, they definitely brought their a-game live, and the harmonies were unreal!
Very few groups can even come close to the Bee Gees!
They always sounded like that. You should watch the whole "One night only" concert or buy it, if you like them a little bit you will not regret buying that DVD.
Lots of people think that Bee Gees is all disco ... It's true that Saturday Night Fever is probably the biggest disco milestone but that is only 1-2 years of 45 years of Bee Gees.
I've got the DVD, it's great from beginning to end. I like when they sing Grease to Olivia Newton John. My older sister use to play some of their pre Saturday Night Fever stuff around the house and then she took me to see the movie when it came out. Great sister for putting up with a pest of a younger brother.
ppdan I have that concert. ♥️
Hahaha. Such a cute reflex when Barry hits those high notes. This is what I hope the angels sound like in heaven too.
👼👼👼
His facial expression is priceless.that's pure musical enjoyment
Sir Barry and his brothers been killing it since the 60's
So sad Barry's the only one left !!
These guys began as kids.
Late 50's
Indeed
Time for a Bee Gees marathon
Yes please
I agree. Can’t get enough of the BEE GEES! I’m a 70 yr old great grandmother that listens to them everyday ❤️🎉
@MAD GRUMPYMAN WOW that was definitely uncalled for. To each his own !
Sign me up! I’d love to see a marathon - one song from each of their decades.....
And the fourth brother, Andy, also had a killer voice.
And they donated the royalty proceeds from this song to UNICEF if my memory serves me correctly.
Yes they did and it has made millions for Unicef
❤👏🏽❤
Over $11 million and counting.
They were unfairly stigmatised for disco when all they did was be brilliant!
In your opinion.
@@willem8031 Yes they were , Bee Gees suffered a huge backlash at the end of the dIsco era, and to be honest ,they were more than just than specific music style ,those guys changed their styles thru almost 4 decades ! ..Brilliant musicians ! ..That’s a fact and very well documented .Period.
I think the early 80s with albums like Living Eyes wich mostly was a collection of songs that where at best B-Side quality and only got produced because the Bee Gees had a contract for another album before they could leave the record company they where unhappymwith, didnt help their case. Yes the wrote great stuff for other artist during the short hiatus before they made a speedy recovery with "You win again". So it wasnt THAT bleak.
They did many genres including country. But most of us loved dancing to their disco years.
@@MarcosCorderoBALDO I LOVED Disco. But it never defined them before or after. They even did country.
oh, you've only scratched the surface.
What his head lol
THAT PART!! The BeeGees are unmatched vocally in many, many areas. It's always been sad to me how they got sort of pigeonholed into disco by pretty much anyone that wasn't a true blue fan.
Try their 'Rings Around The Moon'
@@hermitcrabbot YES!! 💙💙💙🖤🖤🖤💚💚💚 One of their most beautiful songs, for sure💙💙💙🖤🖤🖤💚💚💚
Lol, there's a whole another world out there for sure. Todays youth have no idea.
Labeling their music as simple "disco" is insulting to them and their complete body of work. I'd rank their body of work with anyone. And I mean anyone. They were that good. they were that varied and they were that iconic.
Really it seemed they tried to adjust their music style depending on the current style (60s- being like the Beatles mid to late 70s- disco etc.) Barry I believe once said that in an interview disco just happened to become their biggest success. But really every decade from the 60s-90s they had at least one big hit. The style changes but they adjust accordingly and it works. Imo they’re the best band ever and I’ve heard hundreds of their songs (probably nearly all of them) and I haven’t heard one I haven’t liked. They’re just unlike anyone else.
@R Cruz: Take a reading comprehension course and maybe settle down a bit.
Bilbo Baggins another great point. Not only could they sing but their songwriting skills were incredible. In one afternoon they wrote three #1 hits.
Couldn't agree more. Phenomenal group!
@R Cruz The point is they made much MORE than disco music.
RIP to Robin and Maurice. Barry hitting those high notes is fabulous. Love the Bee Gees and Barry is an amazing songwriter
And RIP to the youngest Gibb brother, Andy Gibb. He was only 30 years old when he left us. He was the icing on a talented dynasty. God bless.
Barry is also so handsome!❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏
It’s a shame their all gone but one. What amazing talents.
@Glory Thomas There were 4. RIP- Andy, Robin and Maurice...
3 brothers that starting at a young age worked hard and made their own way to the top! So much talent, ambition, drive and passion that brought so much joy and entertainment to their fans. The Bee Gees are music legends!💝
Unbelievable writing talent too! SOOOO MANY HITS! They def were "in the groove" of what people would enjoy and relate to!
Another reason why the entertainers today are not artists. The Bee Gees are Artists. Legendary.
When music was meaningful
When music was real...no auto tune and all electronic.
And very often written and played by those who sang it.
Amen
The Bros. Gibb have an enormous body of work, starting from the early 60's.
They really did. So many songs by them and for others.
What upsets me us that they are overlooked despite them staying together for over four decades--than the Beatles!!!
You can discover their biographies online using video bios. Fascinating.
You must listen the álbum Spirits Having Flown and Children of the world
To be fair, this is an 11 out of 10. Those vocals/harmonies are perfection.
Agreed!
yeap 100 % sure
My generation were lucky to grow up with such amazing songs and talent. Love seeing the reactions of the youth today discovering the amazing Bee Gees, makes me feel proud!
Preach it! Love love love!!!! ❤️
That smile that came over your face within 7 seconds of them singing said it all! I'm 68 years old and its such fun to see the younger generation discover older music or bands.
I'm 61, and I get what you're saying. We were so lucky back then!
63 here. We were lucky to grow up and listen to amazing music. I too love when someone younger discovers actual talent!
How can you mend a broken heart. Bee Gees Barry’s voice is something else. 🔥🔥
Yes!
Oh, that's my favorite!
Oh my gosh...my absolute favorite! YES, please MRM!
I've been listening to the Bee Gees since I was young. Barry Gibb the oldest with Falsetto voice...he has lost 3 younger Brothers and he's the only one left!! He still sings...which I love!
Teresa Anderson Absolutely their best!!
I grew up with the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the best falsetto voice ever, & what makes it so incredible, that in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is very rare! Thank you so much for this & they were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed, & they span over decades, & crossed many genres! 💟💟💟
IMO and that of critics, Robin's vibrato was far superior to Barry's. All three could sing falsetto. What do you think Robin and Maurice are singing here? The reactor even said the falsetto of all three was off the charts in this song.

Please don't be rude! No insult was intended.

Most have forgotten how good the BeeGee's actually were. From writing, arranging and singing they were a complete package.
A complete package of highly commercial polished crap music.
@@willem8031
Their vocals were solid as a rock..
can't nobody take that from the Brothers Gibbs!
The Bee Gees are one of the best songwriters ever!! Their harmonies are right up there with the best!! The Bee Gees have sold 120 million records worldwide making them one of the world's best-selling artists of all time. At least 2,500 artists have recorded their songs. In all, the Gibbs placed 13 singles onto the Hot 100 in 1978, with 12 making the Top 40.
I'm very very talented myself and this is literally too much to believe in this world. Are we sure they didn't sing right out of heaven? Never heard anything like it. So sad for their losses of losing their brothers. I lost one of two daughters and we sang together TOO GREAT. . GOD HELP THE PAIN.
@@patsypatrick6194 I am so very sorry for your loss. Living with the pain of losing someone that you love so much seems like it's such an unfair journey to have to take through this lifetime. But sometimes you can find something or even someone who can make the pain a bit more tolerable. May God Bless You and always walk with you on your journey through this life.

The Bee Gees were part of my Jr. High School days, and Disco Roller Skating. Yep I LIVED the 70's Show. As I have grown older I listen to them much more now, and was saddened by the loss of Robin and Maurice. Such beautiful voices. Great memories with their songs.

I love the Bee Gees...and i was totally in love with youngest brother Andy when i was a teenager....i feel so sad when i see Barry alone thinking hes the oldest and the last brother left....Fanny Be Tender and Nights on Broadway are my favorites
Linda Jones I think everyone was in love with Andy Gibb!!! I sure was!
Yes, I completely forgot about Fanny be Tender & Nights on Broadway, they were incredible!!! Hope MRM reacts to those two :)
How deep is your love is smooth and relaxing
Nights On Broadway is iconic!!
Fanny be tender is awesome because you can hear the range that Barry has even that early in there career and they done nothing but improve as there Popularity increased Journey and bee-gees don’t make me choose because I can’t. There second to no one.
For me there are two iconic thing about the Bee Gees. First is their harmonic melodies. Second, is Barry's unmistakable falsetto voice. I watched an interview where they were talking about his voice and how it so high. Some of the people in the industry at time actually thought he should lower it a bit. However, I'm not exactly sure who, a producer or their manager encouraged him to keep working on the falsetto. The rest is history.
He started off as a baritone !
Barry originally sang with a lower voice before the disco era. I love his voice but prefer his natural voice to the falsetto.
@@cherrymcgregor535 Yes and I love all his levels! I love their earler stuff!
It was Arif Mardin, he produced the Main Coarse album and asked Barry to work on something for the Nights on Broadway track.
Don’t forget The Bee Gees we’re gifted songwriters as well.
The Brothers Gibb. Sadly only one is left. Definitely the pride of Australia.

Have you listened to Barrys new stuff he has written and recorded with his sons?? I love "Home Truth Song" It sort of sums up his life story.
This is one of the best reactions I have ever heard. The group together is just phenomenal from start to finish. Without the entire group, the song would be no where near what it is. The harmonies are fantastic!
A 5 head scratcher, none better
You've got over 50+ years of songs to explore with the Bee Gee's. Stands for The Brothers Gibb. The only one left is Barry, the lead singer. Robin and Maurice who were twins have both passed away as well as their younger brother Andy.
Both Barry and Robin was leadsingers.
True, but not in this song!
My mum and one of my Aunt's, saw the Bee Gees when they were just starting out, they were just kids and were amazing back then. This was in Sydney, Australia, they grew up in Australia, but we're born on the Isle of Man UK
@JaySinger I think they did perform twice but it was only like a song or two for a benefit or something. Maurice was the glue that held them together. Miss you Maurice.
I hope you get a chance to listen to them sing "how deep is your love" and "staying alive". Perfection.
Those are great songs, my fav is nights on Broadway.
Great song too
There is no other group that sounds like Barry, Maurice and Robin. Amazing harmonies and voice control. RIP Maurice and Robin.
I completely agree. They were truly unlike anyone else. It’s a shame the 2 twins have passed but Barry is still alive and strong.
Steve T and Andy Gibb, such a sad story attached to this family.
No auto tune. Two of those brothers when they sang together sounded like one voice.
Barry and Robin.
I appreciate that you don't pause it everytime they start to hit a high note. It was nice to hear the song uninterrupted like so many others do.
Legends say he's still scratching his head
🤣
Barry's falsetto is incomparable. Go ahead & challenge me, I reject your argument.
I think you make a good point. The only guy I can think of who might be able to challenge Barry Gibb's falsetto is Philip Bailey of Earth Wind and Fire.
Eddie Kendricks, Bobby Hatfield, but no doubt, Barry Gibb's voice was pure and soulful.
@@jsl8905 fair enough
Too much heaven consists of masses of overdubs of Barry with a few tracks of Robin and Mo to fill it out...from comments from Robin's son!
These guys had a ton of not only great songs but iconic ones.
The Four Seasons had great falsetto songs.
And Frankie Valli singing "Grease" 🙂
I grew up with these guys in the 70’s and was SO SO lucky to actually have this as part of my youthful romances. *Sigh*
Back then, songs were sung TO women, not about them and it really shows.
The most perfect harmonies when we danced on the floor and you never wanted the night to end. Now I get the chance to show my 12 year old twin boys what REAL music was like.
No auto tune, tight harmonies and incredible talent. ✌🏻💫❤️💫🇦🇺
Barry Gibb singing “Words” gets me every time, plus Robin singing “Holiday”, just grabs something inside you!
thats like harmony on steroids.........great post
Ty, Donna Summers was the Queen of Disco, well these guys were the Kings Of Disco. These guys had big time 70's hits like Stayin Alive, How Deep Is Ur Luv, Too Much Heaven, Night Fever, More Than A Woman, U Should Be Dancing, Tragedy, Jive Talkin, & Alone which was done in the 90's. These cats voices were off the chain. Ty, u also spoke about the song Reasons who was sang by Phillip Bailey of Earth, Wind & Fire. U should check out all the songs I posted from the Bee-Jees collection. Great Music!!! Rip To Maurice & Robin Gibbs who were twins n left this planet too soon. Barry is still the only 1 left alive. God Bless The Gibbs Fam.
Let's not forget Andy Gibb! He wasn't in the BEEGEES but had a singing career also with a few hits before his tragic death!
well said.. and go back further to their slow soft classic "how can you mend a broken heart"....
The Blind Trucker yes n he was the baby Gibb if the fam. Great talent, him n Barry’s voice were almost the same. It’s just to bad that he also passed away in a young age. @MRM They were/are still one of my favorite group. Barry is my fave. What can I say, I grew up with them!
Bee Gees are definitely one of a kind! They worked hard on their harmonies. I watched an interview with them and Robin said, "We work for hours, sometimes days, to get these right. These days, nobody wants to take the time to harmonize, its all about getting the music out." He was on point with what he was saying and its sad.
The Bee Gees had some of the tightest harmonies of all time. You could tell they were brothers by their voices and how they sang. The first time I heard them sing on the radio was the mid 60s and I was instantly in love with their music.
Bee gees fun fact... what do these 3 massive #1 hit's by the Bee Gees ( Tragedy, Too Much Heaven & Shadow Dancing) all have in common? Not only were they all #1 hits from 1979 but they were all written on the same afternoon! it's crazy when you even think about how talented these 3 brothers were!! The harmonies & Barry's falsetto are second to none! There will never be another group like this again........EVER!
Ha!Ha!Ha! I loved it when you started talking about how you would assume these guys were black, you had me rolling with laughter. It might, or might not, surprise you that a lot of folks think these guys are black before they see them, and I'm sure some of them they are being tricked when they finally see them!
There are two Barry's that women love to hear ..... Barry White and Barry Gibb!
I am so glad you finally found the BeeGees. You are not going to have any hair left. Try Alone, or How Can you mend a broken heart. Actually, try anything else of theirs.

To me, the Bee Gees were a different band in the 60’s compared to the 70’s disco hits. The 1967 song “To Love Somebody” is a classic.
D Southerland have you seen the Keith Urban version?
I agree :)
I think I read somewhere that although they had success in the 60s, they couldn't stand out enough from the crowd with their normal voices. When they started to explore and cultivate their falsetto, the rest is history.
Yes , their style did change .. Lonely Days is a classic BeeGee song . Just to hear it , so many argue with me that it is the Beatles.
Angie can’t claim to know all Bee Gees songs but of what I heard Lonely Days is my favorite Bee Gees song.
I like watching old game shows on RUclips and Mo and Robin were on a 1968 episode of The Dating Game. Since I watched that I have been on a Bee Gees/RUclips rabbit hole. I never disliked them but wasn’t a hug fan either. I have found an appreciation for them though. Totally forgot they wrote songs for other artists like Dolly Parton/ Kenny Rogers Islands in the Stream

When I hear these songs on the radio I just take them for granted. But these reaction videos give me a whole new appreciation for them! These songs were back when music was actually REAL - and good.
People hated them because they were “disco”. But they were so much more and they wrote songs for everybody and they wrote the 3 number one s for their brother Andy...
They weren't disco until way later in their career.
The songs in the movie were written before the movie was even thought of.
You should listen to Robin Gibb sing " I started a Joke " song "it's amazing

Agree, too young to die @ age 30. Sad
It’s hard for the younger generations to appreciate this family. They were the best. My god. Nobody truely sings like this any more. It took a lot of lung strength
Now imagine their youngest brother, Andy, with just as beautiful a voice but had such a tragic and short life.
My husband passed October 2018. He loved me like this.

Barry Gibb wrote a lot of music among them is “Heartbreaker” for Dionne Warwick
I feel so blessed to have grown up listening to them and so many others of their era...back when music was fun and times were easy...one of my favorite groups of all time
Their talents span many decades. They were amazing writers. Barry ( oldest brother) has an awesome falsetto. Robin ( younger twin that passed away first) had falsetto that will chill your bones. They were mistaken as a black artists before anyone ( US) saw them. It's mentioned in their biography.
Me too, me too. I saw them in 1968, when I was 14 and before the music snobs in the early 70's made it uncool to like the Bee Gees. Not only was music fun, but the lyrics were incredible, now, when my ears are assaulted by modern music in the supermarket, it seems to be just the same, usually banal, line repeated over and over again. I've recently seen videos on YT by a channel (sorry, don't know the name) that speaks to the artists about the origins of the songs from back them - really interesting.
Saw them twice in concert - lucky me!
@@JL-iu7fk I'm not sure if you got it confused or not, but Maurice the younger twin passed in 2003 and Robin the older twin past in 2012.
RIP Guys we miss you!
@@tonicursio you know it!

Name me one song or group of TODAY who will still have their songs played in 40 years time ??? BeeGees are forever.
I’m an immigrant in the 70s… learned English listening to The Bee Gees , they have another brother Andy .
Only brother left is the oldest-Barry. God bless him.
RIP Kenny Rogers it was the Bee Gees that wrote the song that he and Dolly made famous as well as writing for many other top artist all chart toppers.
They are without doubt the best group ever
I still get misty eyed when I hear these guys sing. Chills up and down up my spine. I. Listened to the BeeGees when I was in my teens I grew up with them. Now I'm 61 and still love them
Never tired of hearing them.
"I started a joke" by them is great. Faith No More does a decent cover of it as well
The early I started a Joke sung by Robin Gibb. Later on Barry started singing it in concert but Robin's voice is so unique and meaningful.
Robins son sang the song at his father's bedside, after he died. Powerful stuff.
@Steve I'm a little confused, did you watch it? What do you mean it doesn't exist? It's not him singing in the video, but it's his voice.
Yes, a great song!
These guys have been singing together since they were kids and it shows. There's a video on RUclips where they're on some talk show and sing acapella. Sounds the same. Wow.
Best in the world,God made perfection.
