Great review! It's good to see some independent reviews on the Islander. Great looking watch! I think I'll pick one up when I get my tax refund (and decide which color to get, too).
Black is more versatile, but other colors are nice too. Also pay attention that newer models are upgraded with milled clasp and signed crown.

Interesting thing . I live in EU, so, it should be tax 21 % for Usa packages. But , this time no one charged it from me.

You can have both ) few new colors are availble.
The Seiko 5's aren't really comparable either to this watch or their discontinued SKX lines.
