I don't know why but watching this gives me satisfying feeling, starting from when the crystals were looking just like coloured chunks of rocks until it goes all sparkly and illuminated~ I'm motivated to draw some sparkly-sparkly shards on my own now! Thank you ^^
Holy cow this is the best crystals I've ever seen. o.o I kind I want them as keychains or something! Or maybe like an aywas bundle where you can put the crystals wherever you want on bases. XD I NEED AMAZING CRYSTALS LIKE THIS. - Frid

Oh my. 2 years really flew by. :D Thankfully, I don't have to draw with my finger anymore, I use a Wacom Cintiq tablet more than a year ago. ^^ But thank you very much for the advice!! 💜
I am so fascinated with how you highlight with the overlay feature. I generally tend to uue Overlay for only specific highlights and then form my glows with the luminosity tool in varying layers. Saving that as a transparent can be frustrating though. My Sai file for some reason always puts these rather hideous white pixels behind it that ruins the transparency when I use the luminosity, Perhaps I should tinker more with the overlay tool. Your crystals are so beautiful! @.@ I could watch you draw all day!
Yeah Its wierd isn't it the way it all goes crusty on transparent layers, I'm not sure what causes that. and thankyou so so much for the kind words and comments, I love seeing what you have to say

idk if you still need help but heres an idea try copying a crystal and then using what you did with the first try a different shape, just trying to understand how the light reflects on it
Very pretty but trying to recreate the glow at the end and it's way to fast for me to see whats going on as you gloss over it. even watching at half speed and trying to copy it's just not giving me similar results

Blue is usually the typical colour for crystals. I know, neon orange crystals look odd.
