@@zzzetsulive they are real actors, they act out the scenes using the motion capture technology and then they use cgi to change certain features like age etc.. but the facial expressions body movements and vocals are all acted out in a studio

I punched the guy to the ground and just tied him up then threw him off the roof. A stab too lound ends the mission but a hog tied guy screaming and hitting the pavement infront of 30 people is not suspicious at all.

When they start shooting they use one eye because having one eye in magnification and the other not totally screws with your focal point and will throw off your shots because you're essentially creating a lateral parralax error between your eyes. Both eyes open is used for red dots and holos and "scout" scopes with very low power magnifications. Once you get above 2 to 4x, you encounter the problem above. Even then, it works better to close the other eye to align your vision with the crosshair or dot, and *THEN* open the other eye -- which is the reverse of what snipers do.
I don't know how this game does it. But whenever I see this I feel that moment. Feeling like a man who had everything in place to be fine, then literally right in front of his eyes moments before his final end he realizes it is over. This is the end to his life. Fucking terrifies me.
@Atman Gotango yeah he wasn’t innocent by any means. But still seeing a human come to the realization that they are about to die themselves is definitely one of the most eerie feelings. Even though this is a video game you can still just imagine the thoughts that go through the mind as you realize death is only moments away. He deserved it but still. Putting yourself in his shoes for that moment is scary.
It did to me aswell this cutscene sticks out big time I got that heavy feeling in my stomach with this scene colm though he had his gang behind him and he’d ride out ,continue the lifestyle,make peace with god eventually kept his bloodline alive and retire from that life and accept his fate on his own terms in old age but instead he catapulted infront of all that sweet stuff and got placed on a first class ticket straight to hell ,brutal .

I remember that. It’s funny seeing colms face so calm, a little scared when he sees Dutch and Sadie, than starts panicking, heavy breathing, and tearing up when he sees Arthur wave with the sniper.
I wish we could've seen more interactions with Colm and Dutch, or some flashbacks of some sort, to get a real feeling of how dastardly he was. My first playthrough, even with what happened to Arthur and Sadie, I still felt pretty bad about Colm being left to hang in that moment.
The very first time I did this mission, the knife wielding goon instant killed me without me being able to do anything. I was inspecting the sniper wondering where the hell the guy went, I walked around for a solid minute wondering what I should do next since there wasn’t an objective anymore. Then some dude with mutton chops kicked Arthur in the back of the knee causing him to fall on his knees and then he stabbed Arthur in the neck. I wish I recorded it, but I was too busy laughing my ass off from what I saw and with my friend saying: _”dude you just got shanked by a fucking hobo bro”_
While I don't like his character I do appreciate the fear and the heavy breathing, really puts you in the scene and Colm's mindset especially after being such a big talker
I love this mission because I know a part of Arthur enjoyed the poetic vengeance of it all. He was knocked out in a sniper's nest from behind just like this one, and now the tables have turned. I know Rockstar did that on purpose. They had to.

I remember my Grand Uncle who is a huge Western movie fan seen this. He can't talk but usually tenses ups with fist and everything and swings. He was tensing extra hard on this scene lol
Not that I don't love Dutch flinging himself to his death because he knows he was always fighting a losing battle, but it would've been nice to see him swing after he betrayed Arthur.

Man, Colm must've shit his pants whrn he saw Arthur. You can really feel how scared he is. I mean, he escaped public hangings several times, he didn't think thid one would be an different. He knew, 100%, that he was going to escape. He was probably thinking about hid next score, or anything for that matter. His mind was so open, so arrogant. He was fearless. But that all changed in an instant.
