I love how Yunaka’s VA purposefully drops the cheerful “hiya papaya” voice during some parts of this support line! It’s a really nice touch, and it’s surprisingly subtle.
She does that any time she is actually being herself and not putting on an act. Made her feel like way more of a person compared to the other characters in this game.
If Zelkov took philosophy classes, then he slept through them. I suspect he was just too busy taking rhetoric from the Sophists down the hall, though. That boy wouldn't know a categorical imperative from a hole in the ground, and he says as much in his supports with Alear.
I mean, 47 is very well read for an Assassin, and I feel like a lot of people miss this about 47 in favor of just saying he's a cold-hearted murderer who will kill an entire map of people for his targets. When 47 retired he specifically became a type of priest so that he could help around and assist church efforts.

What I love about yunaka is how flawed she is as a person tho, unlike zelkov and mauvier she's running from her past she changes her name and wanders around pretending to be someone new and yet at the same time she genuinely wants get away from that lifestyle but she often forgets it will always be a part of her it's why when she spars she goes too far.
You can wash away the blood from your hands, but you can never wash away the memory and guilt of who you are, and what you have done. You can try to pretend to be someone you're not, but can a tiger ever truly change its stripes without losing sense of its own identity? In the case of Yunaka, her circumstances in life shaped who she is, just as is a tiger. And if those circumstances hadn't forced her to become who she is now (e.g a strong assassin/thief), then she most likely would've perished a long time ago. Not every fortunate soul had been dealt with a perfect hand in life, and Yunaka is no exception. But that is why she is loved as a character. Because she's relatable. And at the end of the day, she's just a human who wants to change for the better. P.S. Zappy papaya!

Because to tell you the truth, I JUST completed her debut chapter on Hard Classic mode in this very moment i made this reply lol... Coincidence? I feel like the universe wanted me to share something about Yunaka's misunderstood character. And I for one am SO glad I did. Because I'm really LOVING her on my main team I'm doing in my playthrough right about now lol! 😊
Zelkov is also quite flawed as a person. In a different way. He keeps trying new hobbies and says things that make you take a second guess. He's a jack of all trades, master at nonr except the art of making people uncomfortable
Man, I can’t even begin to describe how much I love Zelkov’s character. His supports usually start by people getting scared or weirded out by him, but they end up loving him when they get to know who he really is 😭
People that call the supports for Engage "lame" really have not gotten past C support. Even lesser used supports, like Lindon and Sephir, have some absolute gems. Yunaka, Citrinne, Ivy, Diamant, Panette, Merrin, Hortensia, Mauvier.....there are so many fantastic supports in this game that say a lot about the characters
The supports are fine. The problem is that the game itself hamstrings those supports. The world is so shallow in comparison to Three Houses that you can't go quite deep enough in support conversations, or any depth feels artificial.
Then yunaka gets frustrated at him for doing an old habit, throws a knife or fork aimed at a vital spot, he counters, she gets shocked at the realization, he continues staring coldly, but obviously flustered only for him to quickly lunge forward at a stunned yunaka, to deliver a passionate and hot kiss whispering "you bitch."
Ngl Fogado acting all cheery on the outside but is fearful, out of all things (not dark past or anger issues or trauma etc) damn made him one of my favourite characters
I recommend checking out Mauvier, Lindon, and Sephir. Thier supports are not often seen, but a lot are fantastic (Mauvier might be my favorite male character in this game)
Most C supports are silly, but beyond that Engage has surprisingly good supports imo. I really did not expect Céline of all people to be my favorite Engage character but when she isn't talking about tea, she's actually got some pretty great supports.

Hearing Yunaka call Zelkov's words "heavy" makes me want to hear Zelkov's VA read the "Tungsten Cube" monologue in his voice. It would be "exquisite."
Fire Emblem VAs tend to clown around in their communities (at least, the 3H cast did). You may very well get that wish.

Well Yunaka’s dream is to make orphanage for victims of war. In possible ending Zelkov creates orphanage.

Is there a stated reason that Assassin class was cut from the game?
Could just be it was never planned for in this game, or might be one of the classes that may be added in Wave 4 with the Fell Xenologue
