Totally agree. Stellantis doesn’t respect their loyal customers. You don’t buy Stellantis and Ram for their quality, you bought them for cheap prices in past compared to other manufacturers. But Stellantis forgot about this fact and jacked their prices 60% and worse yet, didn’t improve their quality. Screw Stellantis until they lower their prices to pre-Covid levels.

Problem is even if you get them to discount 20 percent off its still just as much as a ford or Chevy. And if you buy a silverado you will get a better truck. They literally have to cut prices by 30 percent before they become competitive again. That is, they have to be cheaper then Ford or GM because they offer an inferior product. But in their imaginary world they think they can charge a premium for crappy quality cars and trucks. Its delusional thinking.

Here is some scary math....my local toyota dealer service advisor told me dealers borrow large blocks of money...millions..and buy inventory to put onnthe lot. The best case scenario is to sell the vehicles with in the month. When they sit 2 months or more, dealer pays interest on the borrowed money 💰 and then their margins decrease if they sell a vehicle. If the product sits there many months, the dealer is taking a bath in losses. The cure for hi prices is hi prices. As long as we have Trudeau and Gee Bow, sales will be soft. These clowns gotta go.

My 2020 Ram 1500 Bighorn was 47k on it's sticker, Nice practical options no park assist sensors, touch screen dual zone climate control, non E-torque Hemi (I demanded that) 6 and 1/2 ft box, 5 and 1/2 ft seemed useless to me. But cloth seats no leather. It cost me but in all fairness it has been a excellent truck. 19.5 mpg summer, 16.5mpg winter I'm okay with that.

I think it depends on what state. My local Ram and Jeep dealers haven't jacked up the prices too much, maybe 5000 higher. The only vehicles I have seen in my area cost over 100,000 have been fully loaded Grand Wagoner and Ram Limited trims. But most other trim levels and models of Ram and Jeep in my area are 35k to 80k.
They are not cheap, and I do wish they were 10,000 dollars cheaper, but Ram and Jeep are owned by a French company that doesn't care. That company is in the process of killing all hemis.

The trade off was the multiple recalls, TSBs, amateur paint job, janky cruise control, component failures, and greater depreciation. At 29k, I can live with all that. At $80k, no way.
