I followed that set of videos to the Tee when I rebuilt my lathe. Thought you might have given up on all of us after not being back on RUclips for a while, so really excited to have you back!

Could have just flipped the scraper and used the other edge. Then when that side is worn add your new steel. Sometimes it is just much easier to go and buy a new scraper too.

Thanks for sharing your know how with us but seems like alot of time and trouble just to save 10 to 15 dollars however nice job.
Nice video. I just paid the 20 bucks for a new one. I cant weld with a pacemaker

I just got a free snowblower and noticed that the bar is worn, I'll try this trick of flipping the scrapper, thank you!
