    Lyrics:
in the lunar light, the mountains silhouette
The crickets fields sounds so condemned
where are you when I need you the most
constellations in orbit spin my head
a canyon ‘s howl, a siren to its depths
I try to keep my cool, but I miss you
    (3)
    and I'll try
to drive, to you I’ll drive
    the satellite will burn
    into our atmosphere
    two worlds will collide
    (2)(3 skip)
thunder and rain, you're the driving force right behind me
right off the bat, the cure you shot into my vains works instantly
    (3)
and these are the days, you tell
    it's all momentary
when you stay, you'll see evil will flow away
    hold on, together we become
    monumentaly
    (end song on 3)
each night I hope, you phone me up deep into the night
we could have a strole, hum or dance till the morninglight
we could make the world our own and start the magic to shine
we could make the time stop, because we're so alive
    (end 2)

As a former rider who's rode all these European roads back in the 1980's & 90's, this very very well put together video compilation brought back great memories.
With the backing song & very smooth vocals, it was perfect for me on a Saturday morning chill over breakfast.
Thank you Simon, you've got talent.

Thank you. This is the very reason I make these videos, glad you liked it so far 🙂 What categories were you in when you came over? I am from the Tom Boonens generation, never was a pro, but lived like one. I guess that doesn't need no explanation, 'cause cycling is hard once you become an espoir. Are you from the States or Ozzy? Thanks again, Simon

I rode my US-made Specialized Allez M4 Pro (pre-Tarmac release) all over Belgium and into France and The Netherlands back in 2000-03. Not the same vintage as many of these bikes, but still pretty old school compared to what the in crowd are riding these days. Seven bikes in my stable, and not a single carbon frame. While I acknowledge the benefits of carbon fiber, I honestly don't feel like I'm missing anything.

Ranger, how are you? Yeah, steel is hot these days. Though Carbonfiber frames made a huge improvement since the '90s, so did the steel alloys. I would say if you're a competitive rider, I would choose a more rigid, aero and less weight carbon frame and some good set of wheels. But if you have the comfort as a cyclist to choose from all things out there, just for fun, then I'd still stick around the more comfortable riding oldies type of bicycles. I had a new generation carbon fiber racing bike, but as my days as a rider are done, I felt myself fitting the best on a steel Mercks, Colnago, Fondriest and Martelly. Even have some Alu bikes left as well, I'm about to make video's of those as well soon! Can I ask you where you're from and if you ever did competition? Because, that would mean in those years, we might have ride together in a few races as I am a Belgian rider 😉🙂 Cheers! Thanks for stopping by here

@@SimonFlex I was born in the USA, and that's my home now. I served in the military, and so I lived in many different places. I never raced in competition, but I used to be pretty fast. Now I'm happy going further and for longer rather than faster.

@@rangersmith4652 That's great to hear and the effective way to ride, it gives an extra dimension of freedom when you know you can push another 20miles without being sour.
I worked with some ex-US-military personel as well in one of my former employers many many years ago, even went overseas to visit them. It is something that cyclists and soldiers have incommon, the eagerness to explore and go on adventure... so one Hooyah back at you sir. Feel free to join my channel, I'm planning to do more bicycle related video's and guitar tutorials. Cheers!
