C'est exactement ce que j'espère pour ma fille, je suis française, son père est taïwanais, j'espère bien qu'elle sera bilingue sans efforts et qu'elle profitera à fond des deux cultures et des voyages (on vit au Japon et on déménage à Taiwan bientôt)

Pour être honnête, je regardais plus trop les vidéos animés la, c'était sympa et je respecte le travail fourni, mais j'étais pas trop dans le délire.. mais la, un "remake" d'une ancienne de tes vidéos c'est un grand OUI j'ai bien rigolé, et c'est cool de voir comment tu l'as faite en utilisant 3 langues différente ! J'ai adoré, hâte de voir la suite ! Merci !
les videos en anglais sont pour moi une grande erreure.... C'est comme si il recommençait de 0, il risque d'être assez peu recommander chez les anglophones..
Les vannes sont moins droles, elles perdent le charme. La gestuelle semble plus dutout naturel et l'intonation, la manière dont il parle semble tout aussi "forcé" et c'est logique. Pour moi il aurait du s'entrainer car avec l'aisance du français il pouvait se permettre des vannes quelques impro etc mais là on voit qu'avec toute sa bonne volonté il a du mal à avoir un très bon anglais.. (il parle déjà deux langues en même temps mdr..)

Je suis d'accord quand tu dis que reprendre de zero est risqué quant tenu qu'il risque de ne pas percé chez les anglophones et stagner avec un peublic francophone (ce qui reste grandement le cas. Cependant, en faisant des vidéos en anglais et chinois il s'ouvre un bien plus grand auditoire
Well I'm Swedish-French but my mum is unable to just switch between the 2 languages (she sometimes speak French to a Swedish guy or Swedish to a French guy because she spoke that language before), so I learnt French from 10yo when I moved to France with her
Now 17 years later I have a Swedish accent in French, a French accent in Swedish and a mix in English
I'd say it would be an advantage when trying to seduce someone, but because I'm not interested in relationships and have never tried flirting I can't really be sure 😆

I was born and raised in France, my father's is French, my mother is from Madagascar, But she speaks her language only when she's angry, and I don't know a lot about this culture except for food and music. Fortunately for I can speak several languages, because I had a short period of time where I was unemployed and then I had time to learn German and Spanish, after that I decided to go back to school, trying to get a degree with my new skills and i'm trying to learn some Chinese on my own with apps and friends who are native speakers. 我会说得很好，但是我的口语不太好。虽然我是菜鸟，我已经认识很多容易的句子。😁

Honnêtement je suis bilingue, mais depuis qu'il a fait le changement je regarde plus trop ses videos... il a construit une communauté française donc le changement est très brutal à mon sens. Il aurait du juste garder sa chaine avec des video de temps en temps en anglais

I am Belgian-Portuguese and my grandmother (RIP) was born in Congo (when Congo was a Belgian colony).
I was technically born with two cultures; my father is French, and my mother English... Instead I've lived my entire life in France and don't really know much about English culture aside from going to visit family every year or so.
I don't know jackshit about English geography or history, frequently get corrected about some cultural shit whenever I'm there because I just don't know, and I don't even have the accent. I'm the butt of all jokes within the family cuz I got an American accent.

I never knew how to speak Spanish but I know the Spanish culture very well. A part of my family always corrected me on my pronunciation, my French accent or on small errors.

As someone who is Chinese but who was born in France, I see more cons.
In school everybody always asks "Are you Japanese/Korean?", "Can you read what's on my shirt?", "Do you see worst since your eyes are soo small?", "Can you say [Insert curse word] in Chinese?" and those are just the top of the ice burg. People also assume I am smarter so they always ask me to do group projects. Never less I still enjoy being Chinese.

En tant que franco turque vivant aux frontières allemande et suisse à la fois j’ai plusieurs avantages comme l’amitié fille garçon qui est beaucoup plus présente en Suisse puis la culture allemande font que les allemands sont beaucoup plus sympathiques ( parler et saluer un inconnu est très banale) la culture française m’a appris à ne pas me mêler des affaires des autres tout en étant d’origine turque celle-ci m’a apprises à être dévoué pour les autres et l’islam m’a appris le pardon

okay so I was born bilingual (french & english) and I see 2 big benefits about it : not having to learn french which is really hard and, as I studied in France, I could choose english as my n1 foreign language and graduated with the maximum grade in english !

To add a benefit among those mentioned by Kevin, I’d say that growing up between two different cultures is useful in order to understand people. It joins the open mindedness but being bicultural can help you understand how people can be different depending on where they come, and so how to adapt yourself and how to behave yourself around them.

My parents are french. I was raised in France.
But my grand parents are: German, Polish, Italian, British. On top of that my mother who spent a lot of time in Spain in her childhood and loved it taught me spanish.
And I spent a sizeable chunk of my childhood raised by them. I consider myself french, but everyone who knows me tells me I'm the least french person they can think of. I behave German, have British manners and humour, French tastes.
And no I don't speak all these languages. I am fluent in English, French, Spanish. Can understand German, Polish and Italian but not actually answer well (I can translate but I can't answer back because it stops making sense in my head whenever I try for some reason). And I studied a bunch of other languages - not enough to manage reading them fluently - but enough to have an idea of how they work and roughly understand the topic of conversation. But I couldn't master more than 3 languages. My brain says no. I tried really hard, it just doesn't stick.
At this stage I'm literally picking what I like in other cultures and being my one man own culture.
