Agree 100%, I hate "construction" videos but totally enjoyed Danny's explanations of what he was doing - he cut to the chase without any "woe is me" drama, so good-natured and positive through the whole thing - lol! I didn't fast-forward even once! 😄
FYI if you want more outlets. Get a surge protected power strip, plug into inverter. I used extension cords (10g) to run to outlets, and cut the plug off to wire to the outlets. Works awesome. And you have a built in ‘fuse’ box with the surge protection. (Courtesy of Jonnie’s Journey’s idea🎉)
You sound like an experienced electrician! Too complicated for me but loved seeing all your progress. You guys are amazing! Love to Graham and Sombrita also. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I think my brain is going to explode! That was an amazing tutorial! Good job videoing all that work. I loved Emily photo-bombing your serious explanations .
Way over my head, but it’s worthwhile to know how to do all that stuff. I paid a marine electrician $120CAD/hr to do my electrical and I’m still paying that loan off. Great job Danny!
Great job explaining your work, Danny! Most people wouldn't follow it easily, but you made it extremely clear and straightforward for all. If you made a frame under the solar panels, so you could hinge and then tilt them at a 45 angle (when stationary), you could pull in even more power. More work, but could be very helpful at times...little late now, maybe... Cheers!...from North Vancouver
Hey Adrian, Thanks for the shout-out to Danny! _He'll be stoked_ to hear that his explanation hit the mark! Cheers from our little corner of the world to North Vancouver! Keep those ideas coming, we _love_ them! 💜🥰
11:51 you need a circuit to do that changeover right. I am not enough of an electronics dude to know where to start, but I am certain it's a common enough design pattern. Jerri Ellsworth will know how to do it.
I have no plans to ever do electrical work, but hanging out with Danny while he explains it all was so much fun. Great editing and storytelling!

So happy to see the Alpental sticker on the box!!! I just got done with a day of Instructing at that ski area today!!!
Danny is smarter than the average person.
Most people know nothing about electricity.
Open ended and closed ratchet wrenches!!! Good addition to a tool box.

Hope you give a tour of the completed remodel.
Nice remodel you two!
Never got notice of this video
Nice work👏🏼👏🏼
I had no idea that van was so complicated! It's like the Millenium Falcon, ....

good job
Where did you get the WAGO like outlets?! 🎉 And yes to the solar off first:) I was thinking…hmm wonder if he cut off his panels yet😮
Where are you going next?
your van doesn't look anything like the bait click photo you posted. I unsubscribe for photo baiters.
Nice thumbnail. Next van? “Nothing to do but tighten a million things.” 😆 Nice to be heading for the slopes?!? ✌️❤️🚐
