I have tried repairing the torn paper after cutting out the areas like most diy video shows. After applying the pro999 and painting the blisters show up further up the wall. I’m done. Gonna just replace drywall.
Hi How Thanks for sharing your issue! If the blisters show up again after priming, then that means that you didn’t peel away or Cut away all loose paper. What caused the torn paper in the first place? Russ
@@RussOlinatzPaintShow there was shiplap on the wall from the 70’s. They had glued a lot of places. Also, I’m wondering if there was moisture build up from the wood?
Awesome Russ!
I've watched you videos over and over so many times. Your videos are so calming.
Great video series making this repair. The detailed instructions were very helpful, thank you!
Thanks Jeff! My latest short video deals with this too!
Looks great, Russ. I love the idea of tinting the mud.
Thank you! Yes you can see where you have been!
You make it look so easy using the blade and trowel until I tried to use it!! Lol it’s definitely harder than you make it look!
Thanks!

Yes so the drywall was pulled outward, causing lots of torn paper! Was there mold?
Nice video Russ , is it not going to have another mirror on the wall though ?
Hi
Thank you! Yes, but a smaller one.
