I just updated my putter to the tomcat 14, it has a great feel, it came down to ping and taylor made, both felt great, the final factor was the taylormade had a white and silver face, while working with each one they were within a 1/2 tops of each other, then I putted under a bright light and about blinded myself with the white and silver face on the taylormade, it then clicked on a sunny day that would happen again. I have been very very pleased with the feel of the ping.

Just switched from TM Spyder to Ping Tomcat 14 and love it . I make more putts with confidence. Great feeling, large sweep spot and aims easy .

Hi Michael,. Cheers from Canada. I am currently playing a center balanced putter called the Honu 1 putter. Most stable putter I have ever used. Has drastically improved my strokes per round. Have only seen two reviews of this Hawaiian made putter. Very little internet presence but a wonderful putter. You should check them, quite sure you would be intrigued.

putting is all about feel and confidence, know the line and pace, simple right, some practice involved, the club in your hand may help in the confidence part but that line and pace part still comes down to practice any putter can get you there with practice, everything in sports comes down to reps, the more you do it the more confident you are doing it

Hi Michael, I use a scotty Cameron Phantom X8, which I have to say is the best putter I’ve ever used. Milled face, so a solid impact, which I prefer.

I still play an Anser 3, B60 BECU, PAL 2 BECU, and a pal 5KS BECU. Depending on the green speeds and if an after work , “ what the heck, I can get 9 in!”!

These new putters look great, I'm thinking of getting the Tyne version, loved the PLD one, but it was a bit too pricey.

I still love my original Ping Pal 2. I also recently hit a Ping G10 driver, which was maybe only 5 yards shorter than my current M6. I guess i like the "Old" Ping range lol ... That putter looked way to short for u lol. The custom options are great though.

Looks like a piece of the International Space Station has dropped off and fallen back to Earth and been stuck on the end of a shaft Michael.
Definitely beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'm loving my new Taylormade Spider GT Notchback putter. Little bit of flow and great new insert gives firmer feel and incredible feedback on all length putts.

Hi Michael, I noticed you turn your right hand to the left just before you start your back swing. Is that for feel, grip or just the way you swing ? Nice putter though, I use a Cobra Agera, similar shape and balance and it's transformed my putting.

Interesting to see how this Tomcat model would differ from the former Heppler model. Doesn’t look much difference other than the colour. Both milled faces.

That's why I love Ping and hate TaylorMade. No b.s. marketing.

I am sure it is as you say a very good putter. I could never use a putter that is that big and ugly. I do however use a Ping anser style putter.

that name is too funny, but that's the way that PING thinks... they are a family owned business and don't really have the marketing teams/ideas that the larger OEMs have. The G430 coming out is nothing to write home about either.
