Why is everyone hating on Gaga? Florence loves Gaga, and Gaga loves Florence.
Also, Gaga's music is very non-mainstream for those who are saying she's a 'manufactured' pop act. If she was, she would sound like everyone else on the radio. Listen to her actual albums rather than what you hear on the radio and you will hear some good rock, soul, and alternative pop music.

Well, Lady Gaga is a musician and songwriter, and one of the best vocalists in the world (PLEASE watch her Oscars performance for The Sound of Music, La Vie en Rose or Bang Bang, from her jazz album with Tony Bennet).
People like Tony Bennet, Florence, Sting, Bruce Springteen, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Mick Jagger, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Iron Maden, Diane Warren and many other legends have praised Lady Gaga saying shes incredibly talented.
And I agree with them. I think they know more about artistry and talent in music than YOU will ever know.

She’s came a long way! It’s so crazy seeing her grow as an artist. She’s such a contradicting human. She’s so soft spoken and shy yet she has this powerful voice and she parties so hard something you wouldn’t expect from someone who seems quite introverted.

I agree. There is a lot of experimentation on BTW. It's experimental to the point that I think many of the tracks wouldn't appeal to much of the Top 40 radio listening audience. I could see her releasing a song such as, say, 'Government Hooker', and a lot of people wouldn't like it because it doesn't fit the mainstream mold.
