The contraption though it works, it’s far too sketchy for everyday use. Other than that, when welding with flux core, next time try spatter spray, it’ll keep those bb’s from sticking everywhere and make cleanup a breeze 😉

I don't typically seek videos to criticize, but this is a bad idea and the worst design I've seen in a while. The "blade guard" is pathetic and worthless, the chuck will rattle loose within seconds or minutes, and rotation is so slow it's going to bind and weaken the flimsy mount.
Corey The Guy used his ingenuity to build something, to me that is a win. If things start breaking, then he’ll know better to make it Stronger next time. Isn’t that what learning is all about?

@@mitchellpawlina586 as much as anything, learning is about listening to people who know what they're talking about. this contraption is dangerous, useless, and prob costs more in materials than just going down to the hardware store and buying an entry-level circular saw. it's unspeakably stupid.

As an engineering project well done but this will only result in a trip to the ER if used for real world jobs " if you really want a budget saw try aldi or lidl they do them every few month and are great for the budding DIY,er
Darrin Patterson I really don’t think he would use that in the real world. I think the point is, (and everybody ceases to see ), is that he made something out of parts he had laying around, to me that is a win.
Safety wise, I could care less about it.. but the end result is definitely NOT worth all the effort here.
