    Congrats on the new baby!! Mine just turned one year a few weeks ago. I had my first real relapse a few months ago, it sucked! but it wasn't my typical long covid symptoms, it was a severe migraine, took me about a month to heal from that. I had some personal issues I was going through and I felt trapped and that is what triggered it. Had to remind the mind and nervous system I was safe and not stress about things I have no control over. But it was amazing that I never really had migraines and was suffering from a severe one everyday. Happy you are doing better and it's tough with a newborn. Be graceful with yourself. You are doing great brotha. ❤

      Hey Rob! Wow 1 that’s a big one!! I remember when you guys just had the baby. Sorry you had a bit of a relapse since recovery. It’s freaking tough! Sometimes we feel like we are though it and get hit with a relapse. We just have to keep doing the things both of us know work!
      I hope the personal things have gotten better for you. It crazy that these things can pop up that we never had during the initial LC struggle. Mine has been freezing cold feet and some heart issues.
      Thanks again for dropping by and lifting me up. All the best to you man and I wish you all the best!

    Long Covid is a shit show! Keeping calm, not turning insane/ getting su*cidal thoughts is the biggest issue for me. I am at a plateau also. Wish you guys all the best in your healing journey, keep up the daily work.

      That was the same for me the first 18 months I'm at 2 years now and Zoloft helped me the most I didn't start it until June so 7 months ago. Also strict low histamine diet and I'm SO much better. I had the same symptoms as Adam almost identical actually. Best to you!

      the divoc jab is causing body to become a spike protein making factory keeping immune system constantly producing antibodies. the Jesus jab was the way to go no adverse effects nor consequence of long divoc. even in worse case scenario with the Jesus jab and one should die one will be in good company with no more sickness nor death. this pandemic was a spiritual loyalty test between good and evil. ones that got snake bite felt it was good those that refused felt it was evil.

    Adam, this content is really valuable for me. I think my symptoms overlap with yours pretty closely and this makes me feel less alone. My symptoms have been primarily "neurological": memory and cognitive problems, depersonalisation and derealisation (naming just a few of the most problematic).
    I'm glad other people have so much support over the respiratory and cardiac and fatigue-related symptoms, but I often find content of that nature alienating because I was not affected too much by those things, relatively.
    Coming up to two years in now and I have improved massively. It'd probably estimate 90-95 percent well too. However, I wish the last of the symptoms would disappear. I have a base level of dizziness, I still have rather unstable mood and emotions and am still vulnerable to slight relapses of the former whenever I get ill, tired or stressed.
    Anyway, we carry on in hope and, once again, THANK YOU for expressing your own experience. I wish you the very best of luck in getting back to good health.

      I’m so happy to hear that the videos are useful for you. The whole intent was to reach other dealing with neuro long covid. Like you state it seems to be less prevalent than the others.
      Sounds like we are on the same time frame as well.
      Wonderful to hear that you are 90-95% better as well. That’s amazing progress.
      Let’s stay in touch as we are both striving to make that final push to 100%.
      All the best to you and we will get there soon!!

      @@beatinglongcovid Thanks mate. I will definitely keep tabs on things.
      I'm now trying visualisation as a healing method, so it will be interesting to see what happens.
      What I mean is that now I have regained more of my memory and emotional faculties, I am trying to visualise how I felt before my illness in specific situations and moods linked to "real life" (everything from what did Christmas feel like, or as basic as how I felt doing a particular activity in a particular place).
      I'm hoping this will reinforce some of the neural pathways that were disrupted by the condition. I'm also trying to be totally honest about my memories - I think sometimes we mythologise our "old self" and create the illusion of a perfect self that never existed. That is dangerous as it can trigger undue anxiety, depression or other undesirable psychological problems.
      Thanks again

    • @granitesevan6243
      @granitesevan6243 5 месяцев назад

      @@Eliokd After about 2 months I went on an anti-inflammatory diet (look it up), which I followed for about 3 weeks. I got good results from that.
      I also took vitamin D, B6 and B12 supplements, as well as Zinc and Magnesium. Couldn't say for sure if they were helpful, but they wouldn't have hurt.
      Edit: Serrapeptase is a supplement I used and think it helped
      Basically, taking really good care of yourself by avoiding inflammation of the brain and body through diet will help.
      Prioritise the best quality sleep possible and limit stress too. Ultimately though, time and patience is what really does it... Good luck

    Great update. Congratulations on the new baby!
    It's still interesting to hear how many symptoms we have in common. The cold toes for no reason, the phantom pains in the stomach... the panic attacks are, by far, the worst of it. Some of the other symptoms spark the panic attacks sometimes. I am definitely going to try the weighted blanket. I didn't know that was a possible helper. And I agree, we know so much more now than we did a year ago. I think we're all going to come through this okay if we just stay calm and focused. 👍👍

      Thanks for the congratulations. We are very happy and excited. Crazy that you have the cold toes and stomach issues as well! I to can have symptoms still causes me some panic and obsessive thoughts… aka 2 nights ago my bicep started twitching uncontrollably 🫨
      No clue what’s it’s from but of course I went to Reddit to try and find the link..lol.
      Your final message there is so important. We will make it through this with time, practice and some grace. Take care brother!

    Thanks for the update. Trying to stay away from Covid videos, Reddit etc, they can add to the anxiety. Good luck with your recovery journey. As a trail runner, I have switched my Garmin faces off, it is still recording everything. Will look at it after a month. For me, I'm still at the ten-week stage, apart from the 20bpm increase in HR, drop in HRV and sleep quality due to higher stress levels, I have no other symptoms (my appetite is returning). I did do a 3-day water fast a few weeks ago, so it will be interesting to see whether it affected my dysautonomia. Not constantly checking my watch and seeing my HR has jumped or that I am in stress mode, has helped, and I think the Zoloft is kicking in, after two weeks of horrific side effects. On runners forums, people say the autonomic nervous system can one day, out of the blue, revert to what it was. The key is to stick to gentle zone 2/3 exercising and build up my fitness as if I am just coming back from an injury. Once again, thank you Adam, and I wish you well. Congrats on the new addition to your family!

      Thank you so much for stoping by and leaving a comment! I’m happy to hear that you are seeing some improvements! You are right. At the early stages it’s so important to try and stay away from the doom and gloom which can be Reddit. I wish I would have done what you are doing. I think it will really help your progress.
      I’m happy to hear your appetite is coming back. That was a strange symptom for me for 6 months and then one day I just started getting hunger signals again.
      Please keep me updated with your journey on Zoloft. It’s one I could just never get through the first two weeks but I’ve heard others have found it very helpful.
      Thanks for sharing your experience and expertise from being a trail runner. I also have found my heart being elevated since my last reinfection in Sept. my heart rate can get to 155-160 when lifting heavy and before it would stay in the zone 2-3. I was trying to push through that as I was trying to build up my body but that was more than likely wrong. I’m getting back to just a steady state cardio for now. Heart still around 130-140 when walking at a 3 uphill but I don’t feel exhausted by the time I’m done.
      Going to try this for 2-3 more months and hopefully that will improve the heart rate.
      Wishing you all the best! Keep hopeful my friend.

      Hey Igor. I will definitely try this this summer! Thanks for the recommendation. I will buy myself a fire pit!

      @@beatinglongcovid Hey Adam. I hope to finish my sauna this summer. It really works. Thanks for your videos.

    • @IgorLazniuk
      @IgorLazniuk 5 месяцев назад

      Sorry, I didn't see your question. Yes, it helps to relax. But the mechanism is much more complex, associated with circadian processes in the body. I read this in the book of two Ukrainian scientists “Коли я нарешті висплюся” (I couldn’t find it in English). As they recommend, I avoid blue light in the evening. I turn off all LED lights after 8 pm and use floor lights with old style Edison bulbs. It's also good to watch the sunset and/or fire. You can combine this with your "grounding". Relaxing music and a glass of wine improve the effect))
      p.s.
      I would also like to say that post covid anxiety is not like other types of anxiety, such as those associated with war. During missile attacks, in may case, you feel your heart reat rising, nothing more. But after the danger has passed, calm quickly comes. Post covid anxiety can catch you while playing with children, for example, and is more difficult to deal with.

    • @beatinglongcovid
      @beatinglongcovid  5 месяцев назад

      @@IgorLazniukthank you so much for getting back to me about this. Very interesting to learn about the fire and circadian rhythm.
      I will try and find some more information about this book from the Ukrainian scientists.
      Can’t wait for the weather to get a bit better here so I can try this out.
      You are right about long COVID anxiety. Although I have not experienced war like so many, I have had some very hard times. Love felt the anxiety come and then fade. Like you say this is different. The CNS is in hyperdrive and seems to not want to calm down. We just have to keep doing what we can to keep it calm.
      Thank you again Igor! Everyone who’s reading these comments also thanks you for this in depth answer.

      It's important that you "keep the faith" and know that this is going to get better. The symptoms you are experiencing are similar to the symptoms A LOT of other people are feeling. I have the vibrations too, from head to toe, just not all the time. It's important to know that you're not alone and your symptoms are not likely to be anything more than latent Long-Covid symptoms. One of my biggest problems was extrapolating out where this might go, other diseases this might be and letting my mind wander. It induces panic and desperation. Don't let yourself go there. Take it day by day. I think I'm going to start a private group for all of us to join. This is a personal journey for each of us, but we all need to support each other. I am 54 years old and this is, BY FAR, the most difficult thing I've ever gone through in my life. But knowing that there are others like you and Adam out there really helps to keep me grounded. I think we need a forum to help support each other on a daily basis. We will get through this!

    I just hit the 16 month mark. Some days are good and some are bad. Ive been having to take Xanax in order to go out in public because my nervous system cant handle it. Im hoping this year bring me some relief. I also have been doing some red light therapy for brain inflammation and also added in low histamine probiotics because I have complete dysbiosis. I wish my mood would get better though. Some days I feel completely flat. Im not even tired on these days, its like all the nuerotramsitters are gone in my head and same with any endorphins. Have you tried low dose naltrexone at all? I have a script but im scared to try it because of side effects.

    I'm currently 1.5 Years in. I have found a supplement called Nuphoria its for nerve damage and central nerve system issues, that I think helps little by little (currently I'm on my third bottle of this) also I think that Creatine Monohydrate 5 grams a day helps me...
