I listen to this song when I'm feeling lost, or have some deep sense of sorrow. It embodies all the emotions I'm feeling. One of my favorite Zelda songs. Even recently taught myself how to play it on guitar.
this remix is amazing for its ability to convey the feeling of the original song in a modern way WHILE simultaneously incorporating sound instruments (8bit) from the original version. masterful.
When I heard this remake it was the intro and how they brought it to life again I'm sorry this is what a dungeon supposed to sound like, it feels like a you walking into a mystery and sorrow at the same time they really put their foot in the jelly an made it jam lol
Me too... It can't be real what's happening around me... How evil people are and able to read my head, using my weakness and problems against me which I never had told them before. It just feels like everything is something like an illusion or dream.
Listening to it just gives a deep sense of questioning everything around you. Do you have the right to wake up and erase the island and everyone on it? To themselves, the people feel real. And to you, they feel real too in a sense. What’s stopping you from never completing the game? Why do you need to leave? I mean, if you played the prequel, A Link to the Past, Link’s life has no purpose in Hyrule. His uncle is dead, everyone thought of him as a criminal for days, and it’s stuck in a perpetual loop of evil. Here, everyone loves you. Why shouldn’t you stay forever? This is hardly even your ideal fantasy world, you didn’t create it. There are many more questions I ask myself listening to this, but if a typed it all out this comment would be tens of thousands of words long.
"Relaxing"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Are you sure it's relaxing 🤔
@@purehero581 the disclaimer was left off - "Relaxing Music for Apocalyptic Meltdowns and Collapsing Galaxies"
Probably the best part of the remake right here
Along with Ancient Ruins OST
0:25 this is a part where an arrangement from the church music from Link to the past starts and it always hits hard with nostalgia.

I often listen to this music when life feels dire and I need some hope.
🎉It's rare that a company can recreate something and make it better. The 1992 version i had on my Gameboy was great. But this?! Omg, perfection!

When you learn that everything is but a lie...
...How do you handle it?
You learn and flow with it.
Then you learn to accept that universal truth.
well if link is anything to go by
not too well
Heh. Whatever 🤷
It's not a lie.
It's just a dream.
EHEHEHE
Sounds like confession before revelation
“However nice it would be, it was still only a dream. And no matter what, you always have to wake up from a dream sometime.”
Less relaxing... more forboding. Still absolutely beautiful. Exquisite sorrow.

There seems to be more indication that it is so. Thomas Campbell is an interesting fella to research.
A scene on the lid of a sleepers eye
