Keep it up with great work… BTW I have a Mesa Nomad and I would like to know you opinion about this amp, if tou know it. Thanks man!

      Awesome, glad you enjoyed the video. I have never used a Mesa Nomad amp before tho. I no longer own the pedal but it was nice to use while I had it. Definitely shines with a semi overdriven clean amp, just thickens up the pedal sound a bit more.

    Hey Brutha great video as always! I knew I could find the answer to my questions here! I know you said that you sold this pedal already but can you elaborate on how to control the gain for the Pete side if you still remember. What do you mean there are two "internal knobs"? I'm playing around with the pedal and I would love to be able to decrease the gain a bit on the Pete side but I can't figure out how. Thanks man!

    • @90sPunkRockCovers
      @90sPunkRockCovers  3 года назад

      Hey, Johnny. Thanks for checking out my video. The V1 of this pedal had an internal control pot/wheel to adjust the gain side of the Pete. I'm pretty sure this feature got carried on to the later versions. The more gain you dial in internally, the more it affected that side of the pedal by using the mix/gain knob. Just open up the pedal and take a look inside. Hope this helps.

    Hi , I’ve seen three different versions of the pedal . Apparently they’re the same with just different images on them . If you are a Green Day fan would it be logical to go for version 1 as it’s classed as the limited edition version or just pick any ?
    Thanks

    • @90sPunkRockCovers
      @90sPunkRockCovers  3 года назад

      I can't answer that for you. If all versions sound the same it doesn't matter which one you pick, it's all a matter of personal preference. V1 is more of a collectors item at this point so if you value that and want to hold on to it mostly for sentimental value or maybe for resale value in the future, then I guess I would pick that one up. If you are going to play it and enjoy it, does it really matter? Hope that helps.

    • @90sPunkRockCovers
      @90sPunkRockCovers  3 года назад

    I have a very serious question: does it make sense for me to buy this pedal, considering that I already have a Marshall amp?

    • @90sPunkRockCovers
      @90sPunkRockCovers  4 года назад +2

      It’s all subjective. It may make sense for someone and not for someone else. I mentioned in the video that if you have an amp that can get close to that tone then it’s really not worth it. But if you are pedal dependent and only have a clean amp then yeah, I would say its worth to try out and have on your board.

    • @90sPunkRockCovers

      Ok, I was curious because I have three amps, I have a Blackstar mini amp, a line 6 spider classic 15 and a orange crush 12. Not the fanciest of Amps but I’m trying to figure out which one will be suitable for the pedal

    • @90sPunkRockCovers
      @90sPunkRockCovers  4 года назад

      Cameron Krawiec I think these pedals sound best through tube amps, doesn’t have to be an expensive one, just one with good headroom and power tube push. There are tons of affordable tube amps out there, used or new. Hope this helps.

    Umm...not to troll...but that isn’t EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE to a clean tone. Why “stretch” the truth?

    • @90sPunkRockCovers
      @90sPunkRockCovers  4 года назад +1

      It’s all good man. This is as “clean” as this amp gets in this type of application, unless im running it straight through a live cab and pushing the power section, even then it will never sound sparkly “clean” which I’m guessing that’s your definition of a clean tone. Personally, I don’t like running dirt boxes through a super clean amp, I always like to run them with a little breakup and push from the amp itself, which is what I did here and I explained that as well. Again, this is just my personal opinion and taste, not trying to “stretch” the truth as you said. Cheers.
