@@popongomac3540 Yes, probably. It all depends on how rapid energy conversion technology develops. Take 4 - stroke internal combustion engine for example. With their manufacturing prowess, there are no doubt that China can dominate this sector, yet they haven't, Honda (Japan) is still the biggest player here. I believe this is due to rapid development of electric vehicles i.e. there are no reasons for China to invest in this sector because electric is the future. The same goes for gas turbines. Are they staying around long enough that China is willing to invest in this sector? I am not sure about aviation industry. In my industry (oil and gas), several factors may hinder China's penetration in gas turbine sectors; global technical support from existing players, excellent relationship between users and OEM e.g. R&D, best practice, design know-how, and perhaps most importantly fleet commonality which makes new turbine brand expensive and risky. But we'll see, it will be interesting
Rolls Royce is one of two companies (the other is BAE Systems) that is considered to be of strategic importance by the UK government. It can't be taken over by foreign interests and it will always be kept afloat.
This shows just how big jet engines are unlike the pentagon that had just one hole in the building with no luggage seats, people laying all over the ground and the lawn untouched? Hmmm and ya wonder why the public asks questions about what we see as fact as opposed to what we're told and people changing stories (msm) to fit the narrative, also the confiscation of all surveillance videos from around the area...

@@timothyn4929 I hate when companies screen from simple mistakes like that instead of blatant ones....(I know they make cars wouldn't sound bad if they also mentioned the big company as a whole and different industries within). What do you do for them?
an amazing peek into a place we otherwise would never get the chance to see, you can tell these guys are passionate about their engines. and was surprised how open they were to talk about the Trent 1000 issue, great company! perhaps a tour of the GE plant in the future?
Hopefully this company, which many would claim as the crowning jewel of British engineering, can survive the pandemic and keep designing innovative engines.
Rezha Adrian tanuharja if they can't well, Chinese already emitate their technology no worry at all.🤪
@@popongomac3540 Yes, probably.
Feels like an episode of How its made! but better! Thank you for this exclusive video!
the huge oversized fan assembly is what makes these engines a lot quieter.
That and a lot more efficient!
Nah man, earths flat
That's just a side affect, the reason for making the large diameter is to increase fuel efficiency.
@@estou_aqui-2361 oh man I love how stupid your statement is
Logan T If earth isn’t flat then why aren’t our shoes soles curved?!
"We can do bird strike testing, where we fire birds at the engine... "
Me: can I see?
ruclips.net/video/0qpD6MDYEGY/видео.html
This shows just how big jet engines are unlike the pentagon that had just one hole in the building with no luggage seats, people laying all over the ground and the lawn untouched? Hmmm and ya wonder why the public asks questions about what we see as fact as opposed to what we're told and people changing stories (msm) to fit the narrative, also the confiscation of all surveillance videos from around the area...

Why school when I can watch sam’s videos. So cool and educational!
It is incredible what mankind has been able to do! Everything we have created has natural resources as its source and somehow we managed to put all this together and this is the result! 💪💪💪
This is superb, what a great opportunity 👍 nice to see the company giving you access to their 1000 fix program, very mature PR approach.
Right on Sam ! Video posted 6 minutes ago 1.7k views!! 6 minutes... how fast is that compared to a (Insert Favorite Plane) ?
Great Videos ! and It's good to see so many people joining in..
Happy Easter
That chief engineer is so confident and enthusiastic that shows how much he loves his job.
Enthousiasm, knowledge and clarity.
Mr. Sam... Thanks for sharing all the technical knowledge of aircraft engine.. I'm from India I'm watching your videos regularly...
So proud of all you do - making the biggest and best jet engines in the world. Derby rocks, yay!
This was really cool to see, thanks
This is broadcast level production, not your typical RUclipsr garbage. Well done.
Rolls-Royce are the BEST in aviation!!!
What about EA. GE and Prat & Whitney. They are quite and smooth compared to RR on A-380.

RR is the best
British are so smart. Big respect to them for making the world a better place 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴
I Love Mr. Sam Chui. It should be called: The AV Adventures of Sam Chui!!
felt bad for the bird who volunteered for the bird strike test.
They actually use dead birds for bird strike test
That was my first thought, like WTF?
Wait they actually used real birds. I thought they were bs and just using almost identical bone and weight mass simulating an actually bird.
@@ajalacfc - doh, do they really? Thanks for explaining that obvioys thing to everyone. Simpleton.
