I am very pleased with the ship! It’s beautiful and displays well. I bought two to keep one in the box. The paint is really excellent. The stand, meh but there will be replacements offered aftermarket. I don’t have the patience or the time or skill to build one and if I did, it would cost more. Several have already sold for $1701 dollars on eBay! It’s a classic! Great video!
Thanks for showing this great ship! Class F shuttle NCC-1701/6 is named Einstein. /2 is Columbus and /7 is Galileo. There was an un-named /9 in the animated series that Harcourt Mudd stole during his escape attempt.
Got mine the other day. Absolutely fantastic representation of the classic ship! I love that it is die-cast and lights up. Being their first ship, I can forgive the screw covers and seams, if they keep making ships I think they will only get better and better. Besides I can only see the covers and the seams if I get really close to the ship so not that bad. Thanks for the review Jerry and none of my kids appreciate my collectables either so I come to RUclips for channels like yours for likeminded individuals lol.
Thanks for a great view and review, you're enthusiastic reactions are genuine and show you as a true fan! One little thing, you installed the deflector dish upside down, when you first removed the part from the box and showed it the part has 3 raised sections which corospond to the 3 protrusions on the engineering hull front
Great video. Two things, if you tap the sensor on the primary hull a second time, it will light up the impulse engine. And second, the deflector dish housing is upside down. That "nub" on the top needs to be on the bottom.
I love mine Jerry!!! Was waiting for your review! Glad to hear you are happy with yours! You should do a side by side with your Fanhome Enterprise D when you finish her! They will look great together! Be safe and thanks for a great video!
Mine arrived yesterday, still in the box because I need to clear out a huge space just go get it out of the box. The shipping box isn't made of the strongest cardboard so there are dents and dings, hopefully nothing inside is damaged but looking at the way it's packed inside, the cardboard "shields" can withstand any "attacks" by the UPS guy. Honestly, for a diecast metal ship it looks incredibly detailed and accurate, better than any diecast model I've ever seen. The lighting looks amazing, especially the engines!
I agree, the postal service absolutely does not care. There has been a lot of degradation in the treatment of our mail since the days of the pony express!
Sorry to hear about the damage; When mine arrived the first thing I did was to inspect the shipping box. If there was major damage to the shipping box, I WOULD have been totally and completely pissed off!
I've seen photos with the impulse engines lit. I prefer them unlit since that's how they were on the show. Did you try pressing the saucer switch again to see if yours would light?
Hey Jerry thanks fod posting I wanted to buy this ship as an addition to my current 1/350 polar lights but there are a few flaws thats disappointing on her, such as the seams and the plug ins that t hide the screw holes. Im alsi not a fan of the ckear acryluc stands that hold her up. These are minor gripes I know but other than that shes a beautiful ship and those buzzards just sweet.
I have a question about opening the shuttle bay after snapping it closed. Simply put: How? It seems you need to pry it with a screw driver, but how do you do that without hurting the plastic or paint? Anybody got a good system?
I think this looks realy good, compared with master replicas version there is few pros, few cons but good alternate way get a pre painted large modell with electronics.
thanks for the close up video . I ended up cancelling mine and i'm glad i did. this seam lines on the nacelles and saucer are just un acceptable on a $600 piece. I have the $400 polar lights prebuilt and its a lot cleaner than that.
Except it doesn't have lights and I saw a fair number with all kinds of paint flaws. $600 is cheap for almost 20lbs of diecast. VERY CHEAP....regardless of plug holes and seams. Its diecast it will have some seams. I guess they could have welded it but then we are looking at a model that probably 5k
@@Anth230 I totally agree! That Polar Lights pre-built was plastic, no lights, no motorized bussards, no visible and lighted bridge, no visible and lighted shuttle bay and no shuttlecrafts. For $600, this was a bargain.
Glorious. I’m wondering if that little plastic support pole under the saucer is even necessary. Actually, JUST the support pole, without that curved piece would be better. The curved piece blocks the view.
The support pole is necessary in my opinion. The primary hull is pretty heavy on its own. When it is displayed separately on that base it is quite top heavy since gravity is the only thing holding it in place, I think that extra support is a very good addition.
Thanks for the detailed unboxing and assembly, glad to see that you are so happy with it

I've got to say that I wish I had purchased more than one! Enjoy your models! =-)
HOORAY...You finally got it. Very good video.
Thank you very much!

Thank you for the info on the shuttlecrafts! Thank you for watching!
This exceptionally well done model! I don't care about screw holes and all that! WELL DONE TOMMY!
Jerry great video, maybe the best one yet...this one was worth the wait.

Thank you very much for your kind words. Yes, I already fixed the deflector dish.
Got mine on Monday. Launching her today! Great video!

I did not know about the button, thank you for the info. Yeah, I fixed the deflector dish housing.

Thank you very much my friend! Bye the way, that sounds like a great idea! The FanHome Enterprise D is just about 70% finished! =-)
great helpful video jerry, she does look dang awesome, wish i bought a few more to sale, lol
I wish you did too!😉
Thank you very much. Yeah, me to. I wish I had gotten the package of three ships! =-D

Thank you very much. =-D
Congrats! I'm so sad I missed this one.
Wow it does look awesome, 🎉
holy shit! so fucking amazing! love her buddy!
Thanks buddy!
It was delivered Saturday. It (she) is still in the box....thanks for the unboxing!!!!
My pleasure my friend. Enjoy your Enterprise! =-)
Mine arrived... major box damage during shipping but the ship is safe. I know it's just a box but as a collector I'm still pissed.
Mine arrived today with a hole punched through to one of the bases! I felt around with my finger and didn't detect any damage. 🤞🖖

Now, that's a knife!
=-D
She looks great, Jerry. The shuttlecraft though look pretty beat up. I wish they didn't look like that.
Maybe they were an afterthought of TOMY? Either way, I have no complaints. The details in the hangar bay make up for the shuttlecraft flaws.
Missed out getting mine today. I was not home to sign UPS release. They will re-attempt delivery tomorrow. This time i signed for it ahead of time.
Your going to love it!
If they did a constitution refit I would be all in.
I would as well.
Although they never would, I'd love to see a TOS Klingon Ship and a Romulan Warbird, all three in the same scale.
Nothing like Mozart and Beethoven when opening a boxed Enterprise! 🎁🎉
I'm holding out hoping they do a refit model of the Enterprise.
Now if I can just convert this to AC power!
It is possible, but unfortunately it will probably need to be drilled to pass the wires.
How about a video comparing all your 350s?
That's a very good idea my friend!
got mine today, havent opened yet
Your going to love it!

Well, Personally, I use my fingernail. But yes, I would not use anything to try to pry it open for fear of damaging it.

The bridge and shuttle bay on this are exquisite!
Bro, you're out of control!!! 😂
I hope so

The curved piece is necessary to protect that little thingy that hangs out there.😊
I thought the bridge was offset 45 degrees?
Not on this model. Captain's chair forward, red turbo lift doors as seen in TOS.
Yeah, the screw hole covers really bring a model out lol.
Good deal though. They are going for big bucks on eBay....
