I just love how Dave had a bankruptcy and a total low point in life 30 years ago … and because of it, here they are today.
If Dave’s real estate investments had worked back in the day, rather than all falling apart, none of us would have ever heard of him, and he would not have helped nearly as many people as he has.
I try to remind myself that the struggles I have today are going to make me who I am tomorrow. That’s exactly what Dave did, and did wonderfully.

My mom bought me your Total Money Makeover for Christmas in 2014 when I was in the service. I abused the audiobook by relentlessly listening to it multiple times over. This upcoming year I will graduate with a BS in finance and plan to continue a to masters program. I would like to claim this was all apart of my well orchestrated plan, but the truth is, I’m just not that smart. Shoutout to my mom, for the guidance and thank you Dave for providing the hugely valuable resources.

Today, I paid off my home and became debt free. I started $43k in debt from a failed business in 2008 with only a beat up car to my name. Never made a ton of money and life definitely was not free of hard moments, but there were some unbelievably good times too along the way. Anyone can do this.

The most important lesson I've learned from The Ramsey Show is that nothing is forever. What I need to change or sacrifice is for a season, not my entire life. And once I course correct, there will be opportunities to reap the benefits in the future.
Man thank god I found Dave Ramsey in time to change my future. I’m 42 and found him a couple of years ago. Debt free now and fully funded emergency fund feels amazing. I’m still amazed at people who still buy the newest toy but have payment after payment and stretch their paychecks.

Im from México and when i first watched a Dave Ramsey video thanks to the YT algorithm, the think that most struck me was that he was asking about how much you make and owe and people responding, right off the bat that was a paradigm change.
I just watched an interview with Dave Ramsey from 1995. Dave said exactly the same thing he says today. When you learn a principle that you know is truth you stick with it. That is what I really respect about Dave Ramsey. More than the truth he is spitting.
I love this “behind the scenes” episode and that I have watched every show they are talking about.
I love the show good job. George is awesome at interviewing I really enjoy seeing Dave and the personalities in a relaxed and personal environment.

Where you are now is a mindset, get unstuck, make good choices, victim vs. champion, have hope, think differently, take action, where I am today is not where I want to be, stop and look for actions and surround yourself with people who can help you help yourself. Some key take-aways for me. Thanks to the Ramsey team. We teach this to our kids.

I have watched every minute of this review of the history and future of this show. Thanks for sharing. I finished the financial peace program in 2009 when I was at a very low financial point. My only regret is that I have not followed in investing as much as I should have. Thanks Dave and all the Ramsey team for such real life solutions.

you all are deep fast and people need that. It is not the norm and that's whats eye-opening to others because you give them that safe place. You're right..we don't usually open up to friends or family because most fake it to make it and keep up with the joneses so why reveal our struggles when we can fake it and have it all together.

Dave Ramsey 1995 interview. Flavio Camilo channel. Dave Ramsey, at the 16:36ish mark you were asked if you tithe on the business income. You said yes you do that you tithe on the NET profit of the business which is what you are to tithe on. I thought tithes were on the GROSS amount not take home ? I do not expect a reply from you on this but it would be nice for those who have a business & are trying to run it according to scripture if you would clarify what you said. Thank you
Love all the co-hosts but I wish The Ramsey Show would add someone older, perhaps a single person without children, who's been through a lot as Dave has. I'm in my 60's and feel the co-hosts can't relate to my generation, particularly when it comes to retirement and late-stage investing.
