  • While in #LasTerrenas, Dominican Republic, we were looking for things to do on a #budget. Everywhere we looked there were tours to El Limón, but we knew that there had to be someway that we could hike their on our own! So through our research, we found the way to get there.
The hike was well worth it and so was the view!! Check out our blog post for further details on how to hike El Limon jamesandkeli.com/hike-el-limo...

Hi, we did the horses Before. But this time we want to walk. How much was it to get into the Falls? And where do you pay that? I heard you still have to pay a small amount to get onto the trails?

It was only 50 pesos per person to enter into the falls. You pay once you get to the entrance, we entered through the main gate which we hiked about 20 minutes to.

    How deep is it?

It is deep enough at some points that James who is almost 6ft can’t touch. It all depends on where you are in the water.

About saving you guys did well 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
But about the way to get to the waterfall you guys didn’t. You don’t need a guide to go but you need to use the main entrance, you can even follow the horses without pay, but the way you guys took is private property so you guys were trespassing 🤦🏻‍♂️
(I just want to see you are safe and enjoying)🇩🇴💝

We didn’t know it was trespassing, since the locals there told us where to go, and two people who work at the gift shop told us to walk through that area. We still paid the main entrance fee to get to the waterfall 😌
