Just got back from Disneyland. Tiki Room has been my favorite since I was a kid. I was so sad by how rough it's looking. The Gods are not working properly and their colors are so faded. You can even see in your video that the flowers don't drop from Tangoroa any more. Inside, several of the birds are now missing feathers. I'm a fan of both new attractions and the classics. I wish that they would put some budget to maintenance so that the old favorites stay as beautiful as they deserve to be.

I also noticed that the flowers didn't drop or more like they were stuck in the drop position. I am saddened that they haven't repaired it. I imagine the list of specialists in that field grows thin if the technology isn't updated.

I'm going to Disneyland on Sunday and I don't know that I'll be able to go in here.... It was my grandpa's favorite thing at Disneyland and he passed away in 2020 due to a bad fall and just watching this is making me cry and I really wanna see this again after so many years but I don't know if I can enjoy it like I used to if I'm just gonna sit in it and cry making me miss my grandpa even more than I already do...

@@InAMagicalMood Yeah it really does. Me and my family have been going so many times but we've been going through a hard time with the passing of my grandpa. And the Tiki room was his all time favorite

If you are looking for something modern and exciting, this may not be for you. This is one of the original attractions of the park. Original concepts have their charm no matter how old they are.
