- When the Greenkeepers get their own back on golfers hacking up their course !! Absolutely brilliant this from the Foxhills greenkeepers. We played 9 holes and each hole the greenkeepers did something to try and stitch us up …. And my god it was a proper laugh !!

They didn't get to choose the club, the sign said only the driver can be used.
The edge of a putting green is defined as “where it can be seen that the specially prepared area starts (such as where the grass has been distinctly cut to show the edge), unless the committee defines the edge in a different way (such as by using a line or dots)”.
Now, as many of you will know, Rule 13.1a says that a ball is on the green when “any part of it” touches it.
What does that mean in practice? Well, essentially what it says on the tin. If any part of the ball, however small, is touching the surface of the green, you’d be able to lift and clean it - first marking the spot of the ball - and then replacing it on its original spot.
But if the ball is completely on the fringe, which is part of the general area, you’re going to get into trouble if you try and do the same.
Rule 9.4b says that if a player lifts or deliberately touches their ball at rest, or causes it to move, it’s a penalty stroke.

Love this one fellas. Been a while since commented on the vids! Video idea - ask the viewers to give you some challenges and pick one per hole on a 9 hole challenge. E.g hole one, scramble worst ball. hole two, best ball wedge only. hole three rough is lava. Hole four left handed etc

We had one of these during the winter and it was class. Just a fun comp with no pressure and loads of fun. We had to hit with a hickory club on a par 3 which was eventful

A couple of years ago I damaged the tendons and ligaments in my right foot. I was strugling to golf but my friends invited me to walk with them as they did greenkeepers revenge and by the end of the day my lungs were hurting due to laughter

On reflection the driver for one club challenge was probably not the best choice of club. Maybe a 4 iron would of been better. To be fair though this looked like a lot of fun
