Jaded retired grip here. Happily surprised by the baby plate tray clamped to the camera. We used to mount baby nail plates on pancakes for mounting on a c-stand as a table for small crt video assist monitors (crt should give you an idea of how long ago. Also “video assist”, lol!) Anyway, the tray idea is freakin awesome! Thank you! A tip I’d like to offer newbies is that you can check the quality of your light stands with these clamping accessories by really cranking down on the screw knob. If it crushes the tube, your stand is of low quality and should be replaced with something heavy duty.
In addition to being a photographer, I'm an armature astronomer, These are going to make my life so much easier. No more fumbling around in the dark for an eyepiece. i can make a tray that securely holds the eye piece with worrying about dropping it. Thank you.
I love your channel and the fact that it is not profit motivated. We can see your passion for photography and videography which so many channels lack. Keep doing what you are doing Markus!
I’m new to all of this and I’m convinced that your videos have saved me so much unnecessary frustration! Not just that but I know they’ve given me so many more options that would’ve taken a lot of trial and error to even come up with (if I even would have)! Thank you!!!
Those are great, I use a USB battery with a dummy battery to power my DSLR when using it for a long time and I would velcro the battery to the tripod or monopod leg and some times put it in my pocket. This is a better solution. Thanks, Markus, keep the great ideas coming, you rock!
Don't worry everyone B&H has them back in stock! I was laughing when I looked down at the reviews and sure enough Markus had left a nice review of these little things.
I’m so happy you had not one but two solutions for V-lock and D-Tap! I love my V-lock on my hip for all-day shooting. I can’t be bothered by pitiful proprietary batteries. I just tether with an eliminator to the D-Tap, and it’s a shooting party all-day. The other nice thing is that a V-lock (or Gold) battery has plenty of power not to whine or reboot your system, so: USB, monitor, recorder, etc. all on one battery. Done! Thanks for showing those. I thought I was the only crazy 😜
That’s what I like about about you, you share things to others to make our lives easier thank you. I will definitely source out these accessories I surely need them.
Markus, I hope you read this as I want you to know that, your channel is the highlight of my day! Honestly, since I subscribed Ive had a blast. Your enthusiasm and passion for photography, lighting, videography, sets, and travel makes your channel unique. Most importantly, to me, at least, its so darned much fun to come along for the ride! A huge THANK YOU for all the great content and links to inexpensive, cool stuff like clamps, camcorders, lighting and other great gadgets. Yeehaaah! GO Markus Pix!
Brilliant, i love this stuff too, I can spend hours searching the different varieties for the one I need. And camera bags! Oh my I can lose a whole day or more looking for the right bag! Great video!
Markus ! you really are one of the best regarding audio video content ! and what's for sure to me you are the most unique each time I receive the notification of a new video there is a smile one my face cause I know i will see something only you thought about ! huge kiss to you and your muse !
@@MarkusRothkranz ohhh ! I did not know about this main channel of yours ! you guys are amazing ! the video with your son cara put tears in my eyes. From where I come we say that "heaven is under the feet of good mothers" the sacrifice you have been through for you soon just give all sense to this sentence.
Love this! Wow this is a fantastic video I love those gadgets! What a great solution to secure the black box that seems to be on everything these days. Love that Iklllan clamp
Markus, I totally love your enthusiasm and open sharing of stuff that can help others work smarter! As someone with a traveling "clamp bag" that's grown over 40 years and takes two to carry now, I'm looking forward to adding some of the great stuff you just showed to my kits. Thanks!
Thanks Markus! Very inspiring episode. I've been thinking about a bike mount for my GH5. Actually walking with the bike to get rid of my "steps". Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
I bought a bunch of velcro straps the other day and the convenience factor is off-the-charts. Such a small thing but it's unbelievably exciting from a workflow standpoint. I totally relate to your enthusiasm. Lol
Then you need the case to put them all in (the extra's), then the label maker to label all the cases (what is in what). I love the velcro on a roll (male on one side, female on the other), so I can secure cables to poles, stands, or just to themselves for storage.
dude, thats sweet! I was just thinking about how I can mount my cell phone on my manfrotto tripod the other day so I can monitor my live streams. Thanks for the video man!
Omg I need that power brick hanger!! I use my camera with the power brick all the time and just attaching it to the tripod with a Velcro wrap just isn’t enough. Thank you Markus!
Markus, this is awesome. I love this. Please keep up with this. I’ve been trying to build out a stand to hold my camera, an external monitor and the power bricks so that I can have a simple and elegant “streaming station”. Buying light stands or speaker stands or tripods is such a game of chance. I also share your hatred for returning things or selling them on eBay. I’m looking for a sturdy high quality stand that is stout.
bro, where have you been?? Thank you for this, I need this stuff!!!!!! I carry all kinds of junk and have made makeshift tripods for the outside of my car, just posted that video on my channel, but I make this stuff with sketchy goods LOL. Will be buying from your links homey! Peace
I need that Ikan PG. Thanks for the tip. I was using elastic arm bands for my transformers. But they slip around sometimes. Looks like this mode isn't available any more and the new one doesn't appear to have the velcro strap?
I love my v mount clip! I bought the small GVM and Wellmaking lights you recommended. Love how small they are and good power output. Next up is the GVM square RGB lights
MarkusPix always gets me excited about photography/videography. I'm just a beginner and my best camera is my Samsung Galaxy, but Markus has inspired me to step up to something a little better. I think I'm going to start out with a bridge camera, and I'd love to hear some suggestions in the $200-$400 range. I want something with very good zoom(20X +), stabilization, full HD or 4k video that I can make look cinematic. My top contenders are: Panasonic Lumix FZ80, FZ300, Canon SX60 HS, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX400
Hahaa, i like to mount exatly the same plase that monitor =) You have so good ideas ! I think i'm gonna move to your house and just watching what you do all the time and i live a happiest life :)
It's funny watching your videos and noticing that we've both come to the same conclusion on many things and since you purchase and experiment with many items I actually learn something new. I too use those clamp mounts and I use one to clamp on the steering wheel of my vehicle to attach a small camcorder so I can shoot out the window without holding the camera but, the vehicles engine has to be turned off because of vibration.
You are so beyond youtube! Thank you for sharing you are the real deal!
Thanks for watching!
Markus, thanks to you .... I want them ALL !!!!! Thanks for your Great Videos !!!
Thanks, I like to see your ideas and enthusiasm.

Your enthusiasm makes clamps compelling 😂😂

I guess I'm kind of randomly asking but do anyone know a good site to watch newly released series online ?
@Leandro Killian Flixportal :)
@Uriel Brayan thanks, I went there and it seems to work :D I appreciate it !!

Best camera/videography channel on youtube, period. You’re the best, Markus.
Thanks for posting this video. Cable/cord management is one of my biggest pet peeves in life (not just photography).

You are sooo adorable. Love your enthusiasm.

Nobody is doing these reviews, and EVERYBODY could use this info, Thanks again Markus!
Not just handy for photography stuff, handy for music stuff too! 👍
Funny! I did NOT know that existed, I ended up making my own out of aluminum and velcro! I will be ordering a stash for myself!
Love your energy. Your having fun with it...
Love the "STAND CHAIR" the transformer brick! Great ideas!
I love you talk about cheap stuff. Because not everyone can afford high end stuff.

I would love to know more about that big battery explained by you.... thanks again for helping all of us.....
Just google V-mount batteries
Not many people talking about grip. Thanks!

Love your vids friend!!
I thought you were going to put snacks on the table.
I'm one of those nerds that really enjoys grip gear.
Man I have a love/hate relationship with tripods! So incredibly useful but such a PITA to lug around and setup/break down... excellent vid, BTW!
Did you see my recent video on tripods?
@@MarkusPix Not yet...But I will!
I need that Ikan PG. Thanks for the tip. I was using elastic arm bands for my transformers. But they slip around sometimes.
Looks like this mode isn't available any more and the new one doesn't appear to have the velcro strap?
Many of these little bits are double the price here in the UK. You need to shop around for other brands of the same product sometimes...
The older, stronger, heavier !, standard clamps are called Super Clamps. If you can find some used, they are useful in the studio.
Thanks for sharing!
1 tripod with 3 cameras, 3 microphones, 2 strobes, 1 monitor, 1 parasol, 2 fans, 1 table for snacks, 1 drink holder, 1 TP roll holder (to clean your hands from the snacks).
I love my v mount clip!
I bought the small GVM and Wellmaking lights you recommended. Love how small they are and good power output.
Next up is the GVM square RGB lights
Be aware RGB lights do not produce the best daylight spectrum CRI color ruclips.net/video/5U-F7EhLp7g/видео.html
