Chant Of Immortality is one of the original classics created by 4Everfree all the way back in 2013, and since then he's created chants for the rest of the mane 6 as well,. We're privileged to showcase this new updated version of the concert version he originally released in 2018, with the instrumental updated to the incredible standards he reaches nowadays and complementing the enchanting vocal work. I've always loved these versions of Twilight with sun/moon-style wings. Such a good design
I've loved mlp since when I was a little kid. I remember spending every summer in the countryside with my grandma and hanging out with my friends. There were four of us and we really loved this show - we used to walk outside and sing "what my cutie mark is telling me", "true true friend", songs from EG and even brony songs ("open your eyes" by aviators and "thought I'd let you know" by 4everfreebrony were our favourites)
I also clearly remember the day I asked one of my friends if she could teach me how to draw ponies - after a while I actually learned to draw them and even started an art blog. All that was in 2013-2015.
I had so many friends in real life and online thanks to mlp and I was constantly trying to improve my drawing and music skills thanks to so many talented bronies.
Everything's so different now. I'm a 19 year old guy now but I cry every time I hear this song. I don't really know why - maybe it's nostalgia, maybe it's just because it's touching, maybe it's something else. I don't even know what to say. I'm so grateful for what this show has given and taught me. And thank you for this masterpiece.

This song is literally my favorite fan music piece from the entire fandom. This take of 4EverfreeBrony on it is so beautiful. I will never get bored listening to this song, both original and cover. Thank you, brony musicians, you've brought so much happiness to us with your music!

I'm really enjoying the remakes that are hitting this year it's a perfect way to show how far you guys have come twill be a sad day when this all disappears.

It's a great version of the song, but I personally prefer the "slower"/quieter versions more. So far the one that hit the hardest was Woodlores guitar-only version, all because of one small pause/slow-down at the "not ready to let them go" part...

Its the same sound as the original
The images selected doesn't fit the song. The song is melancholic and emotional, while the picture shows Twi as a badass. It just clashes...
This version of the song actually fits the image quite well. Maybe you listened to the song, maybe you didn't, but this version is highly different from the original, and has a lot of energy and intensity, very different from the melacholic tone of the original.
This is good. Which is a disappointment, since the original was excellent.
They are just different, really. This is the version I play in concerts, since it has a much more upbeat rhythm and feel, and also has a lot more energy and intensity.
The original is meant to make you feel things, and there is still no other song like it in the fandom to this day.
@@4everfreebrony Not to take anything away from Chant of Immortality, I love these songs, but there's plenty of similar 'feel' songs in the fandom, in particular Luna/Celestia songs such as "Lullaby of a Princess"
@@noseboop4354 I didn't mean there are no other songs that make you feel things like this one does. I just meant that there are very few songs in the fandom that have a full choir sound in them, very Gregorian Chant-like is what I was shooting for in Chant Of Immortality.
