Hopefully there's an easy fix. While replacing the same part same location and process on xj8 x350 the smaller end is just not sliding on to the carrier as it did for you. I actually looked for the meyle brand and couldn't find any for my car I went with delphi and I already don't like the quality. The circle clips on the boot keep popping off. I appreciate any assistance.
I need this repair on my S-Type but just the front big bushing. A mechanic told me that this is a 4hr job... Does that sound accurate??? Dont want to be taken advantage off. Also told me the suspension has to be dropped but thanks to your vid doesnt look like it. Nice Vid btw
How to Automotive Thank for your fast reply. The guy was stating 4 hrs per side witch sound insane to me. I will be sure to show him this video so that the work is done correct. Just gained a sub
Thank you very much I appreciate it Couldn't have made it without you
Glad to help. Thank you for watching!
Is it possible to just press in new bushing on oem control arm?
Great video! Thanks so much!
Peter Shanahan thank you and thank you for watching!
Could you explain why you replaced the radius control arms? Were the bushes worn? And did you need to also change the upper arms, at the same time?
Just did that on my 2007 HHR.. was just about as easy no alignment needed of course. :)

I have a Jaguar xkr. The control arm set up is similar. Do you have a video on how to replace the rear lower control arm?
EtopUdoh I don’t think I had a video on the rears.

Nick243120 The labor calls for two hours per side so if you're doing both size then yes four hours is an accurate amount to charge.
