If he can get a lucrative 2-3 year offer by a Saudi club or get significant minutes from a Turkish or Greek club, he should take it. Given his knees issues and high wages, I don't see any club in the big 4 leagues wanting to take a chance on him.

It's sad as he was such a fine player. How ever we knew the risk when he first came - even from the first medicals we should have said no. In some ways Chelsea were laughing at us, their liability became ours.

Personally if I was in that much discomfort playing and training, I would consider calling it a day and move into coaching, he would have a lot to offer many professional teams.
Understand he would ‘lose’ a significant amount from his contract, and earning potential if someone was to offer him a spot in another team or league, but quality of life must be a priority for his future with his family as the problem with age will get worse and potential replacement knee’s will be earlier than for most of us.
He should have amassed a decent amount and with those investments, he and the family wouldn’t want for much in life.
Fate has dealt him a painful reminder every time he pulls his boots on, but money isn’t everything, the majority of us still enjoy the game with far less.
No disrespect to Zouma but why is he still with us? He’s knees went 2 seasons ago and left him behind 😂
