Your videos are just fantastic, always an interesting choice of subject, the camera goes where i want to see, and the natural sound is fantastic, great work.
food made with power that is sourced from love is the best food of all.. as you can see at 8:18 he is only hitting the table with the stick in his right hand.. you would think this has no purpose because it is not hitting the breads, but actually i understand this kind of way of working, he is building up chi with that stick on the table and with his other hand he forms the breads flat... this is really powerful and makes the flatbreads perfect (Y)
Im reading people saying how this is just for show. He is doing it very efficiently. This is how most Chinese work, food bussiness or not. Dont expect the same lay back working status as in US. Also, these people deserve the same credit as those Japanese chefs. Chinese are making ramen much earlier than them. Yes they don't use any rulers like japanese do, but they eyeballing and hand trim every string. Now you don't call that an art.
Aside from the recipe that is available in internet, one is hard to immitate, the performance of the baker, the action of making the dough and fillings. Thumb up!
The master puts the half amount of meat twice with double speed up than the original guy. So the bread filling comes more evenly distributed, cooked and crispy.
in the netherlands we also like to make our food with power..... for example one of the most popular/common dishes in the netherlands is called "stamppot" which litteraly means "stamp in the pot" xD
The OG aden films is prob a Japanese retired guy but currently there are pro different guys. The hong kong ep. Are spots that tourist wont usally go...
He did that because he is the boss of this joint. Less meat makes more pancakes, hence more money. He is all business, but I will say that he is very skillful.
I'd rather the slow guy do it instead, he puts more filling and rolls it more cleanly. I enjoy watching effort into his work. The other guy just feels like he's rushing it all
Well, it's the same result really. He does it fast as it's a production based business. Make more, sell more. It's also called live cooking where it is entertaining for people to watch how it is done.
i agree with you! I understand that the faster guy does it for a show and it makes more and quickly, but the slower makes it better (just my opinion) haha, anyways, i guess that they both taste delicious.
That drumming dude looked rather annoyed. "Get out of my way - this is how it's done". The guy cooking seemed to find it rather amusing. LOL The guy originally doing the rolls looks insulted.
He just scraped the table and added it to the meat pile 4:13 I don't know how long that meat has been out in the sun either....otherwise looks delicious!
I love how the cashier just went to handle food after touching money without washing his hands, now I know how I got food poisoning the time I went back to China
I stayed about a week there. The food is spicy, indeed, but you would be still hungry afterwards. Not too much meat; a few slices here; a few slices there! And you cry mama because the hot peppers send all the body liquid outside through all the holes. My group of about 10 spent more than $200 on an up-scaled hot-pot place and felt empty after all the veggies, mushrooms and tiny meat. Then you learned no place could beat the old USA when you are hungry ! I never tried their rabbit heads, which are all over!
I'm mesmorized by the way he slaps that dough on the table to stretch it out around 4:46...so efficient!

i agree, i appreciate the neighborhood shots as well.

Ohhh those are amazing! By rolling and flattening it, they create countless thin layers that get so crispy. Definitely a must try!
Aside from the recipe that is available in internet, one is hard to immitate, the performance of the baker, the action of making the dough and fillings. Thumb up!
What is this recipe called?
China street food never fails to amaze me, this is yet another dish I'm gonna try if im travelling there in the near future!
Love how the master steps in at 1:48

Great video with delicious looking food. YUM! Love the real sound on the video too! Soooo much better than music that a lot of other videos have.

Omg, Chinese Street Food is amazing :P
Gutter oil
If it were an Indian's brown hands making the dough, we'd see a lot comments on hygiene and cleanliness.
NOSSA parece ser muito gostoso, adorara experimentar.
This guy is amazing
Holy, that skill though! Daaaaamn!
Aden could I ask what ethnicity you are? Also what country do you live in and do you speak the languages of the places you visit or go with a guide?
I'd like to know as well. All I know is he's well manicured and well cultured 😊
German living in Italy and yes he does speak most of the languages of the places he goes too
The OG aden films is prob a Japanese retired guy but currently there are pro different guys. The hong kong ep. Are spots that tourist wont usally go...

The speedy dude puts way less meat filling than the slow dude.

Haminator the way he's doing it must be for show you can see people pulling out their phones to record him.
He like double filled. Mixed meat into the dough, rerolled it back out & then filled with the meat mixture again. Yummy, count me in.
Well, it's the same result really. He does it fast as it's a production based business. Make more, sell more. It's also called live cooking where it is entertaining for people to watch how it is done.

Efficiency is how your bussiness survive in China.
good contents, thank you
that guy rolling dough was trying to impress the ladies
I would live give it a try.

Yus wow
If these can be found anywhere in the US, please let me know!
Wow!
ما شاء الله🌺🌹🌺🌹🌺🌹
Dude we need that here in the USA
I'll take one from the first batch, thanks.
That drumming dude looked rather annoyed. "Get out of my way - this is how it's done". The guy cooking seemed to find it rather amusing. LOL The guy originally doing the rolls looks insulted.
Todd Wall it got a little busy and to be fair, original roller was much slower paced lol
But you got way more filling!
I noticed he put meat in the dough and re-rolled it, then filled it. Same amount of meat, I think. He still acted pissed.
lol true
why does he have to.beat a table with the stick
like the professional basketball player who is driving the ball with his own rhythm
Kira2 rasanya gimana ya?. Kayaknya enak 😛
😲😲 fantástico
What is that filling?
dog shit
The best
The guy in red jacket is hot AF! Oh, and the food looks delicious, btw....
Guess the "new guy" was going a little slow.
WOW!!!
this is called 'the flatted bread fist style' 4:54
So why does he hit the table?
As always super interesting , those things look tasty as fuck
He just scraped the table and added it to the meat pile 4:13 I don't know how long that meat has been out in the sun either....otherwise looks delicious!
I've come to expect at least on of the older street vendors to be smoking while cooking...
Those days are long gone. Get on with the times!
Makes me hungry .... lol
Nice food. NOT safe, but nice.
I love how the cashier just went to handle food after touching money without washing his hands, now I know how I got food poisoning the time I went back to China
Noice
